Peter Pan 3

Summary:

This story takes place right after the second Peter Pan movie (Disney's Version).
I tried to tie Greek mythology into Peter Pan and made a story out of it.

Chapter 1: Beginning

Notes:

Disclaimer: I do not own any of these characters, except Penny and her mom. Disney does, though I don't know who owns the Greek gods. Maybe Rick Riordan. Please watch Peter Pan on Disney or this will make no sense.

Chapter Text

The second star to the right shone its light down on London, one of the only stars that was not scared of the bright lights. Inside of the star rested a place of dreams and wishes, Neverland. Though chaos was brewing, only days from when Jane left...

Before...

The child, no older than eight, spun his little sister around with a grin on his face. His sister was everything to him. They had the same red hair and green eyes, the only difference being that he was older, and a boy, while she was younger and a girl. The lush forest where they had grown up in was alight with life. The siblings stayed with their mother, playing games with each other and never wanting to grow up. The sister was just four, so when she saw the smoke, it meant nothing to her. The little girl did not think to alert her mother or brother. She couldn't have foreseen the flames that came, the ruin of their home, and the heartbreak of her brother.

Peter Pan flew above his island with a huge grin on his childish face. The wind pushed past him, making his red hair stand up. The island looked alive with deep greens and browns. The sensation that made him feel like he could never fall. Yet, it was only his second favorite thing to do. Peter landed swiftly on Never Peak, looking over his island. He saw Mermaid Lagoon, Pixie Hollow, Pirate Cove, Belch Mountain, and his base, Hangman's tree. He loved the name he picked for his home. Though he wasn't quite sure why...it had quite a haunting way about the name.. He shook his head at the thoughts, putting the smile back on his face. "No time for thinking! This is Neverland!" He yelled . And off he flew to continue to do his favorite thing.

Captain Hook watched the skies with interest. After that blasted Pan sank his ship with Jane, it was rather slow going to rebuild the old Jolly Roger. Still, somehow, the ship was already up and running once more. Pirates were running around, busy sailing the deathly looking ship. Their flag danced in the wind, the symbol displayed proudly. The skies were clear. The ocean was a deep blue, making sense for this time in the season. Even though time was an illusion in Neverland. Captain Hook looked back down at his map of Neverland. "Now now now, what would be the best idea for capturing that Pan..." He ranted quietly. Singing started to reach his ears. He held back a groan. Smee. That jolly pirate should have walked the plank long ago, yet he inspired some of Hook's best plans. That was the only reason they kept him. The first mate made his dandy way to the place where Hook sat, singing and holding what looked to be a tray of breakfast. He kept singing louder and louder until,

"BE QUIET SMEE! DON'T YOU SEE I AM TRYING TO COME UP WITH A PLAN TO CAPTURE PAN!!?"

The other pirates snickered at the way Smee cowered back with fear written across his face. Though right before he could respond to the Captain's yelling, a rooster crowing could be heard in the distance.

Hook slowly turned his head to face Peter. But before he could turn fully, his hat was taken from the top of his head. Again. Peter flew up behind the sail with the captain's hat on his head before taking it off and cutting the whole hat up into shreds with his dagger.

"Were you talking about me Hook? I'm honored." Peter said with a wicked grin. The pirates chose this moment to attack, each one yelling battle cries. All except Hook, who just stood there looking irritated. A pirate tried to jump to catch the flying boy, but ended up with a kick to the head. Another raced up the ropes of the ship with his sword out, while the others shot cannons at Pan. There were even some below Peter, trying to block him off. At a quick speed, Peter took out the man climbing the ropes and used his sword to jam one of the cannons, making it backfire and destroy the rest of the black metal contraptions. All the while the teasing never ceased. The pirates on the floor soon gave up, lowering their swords.

Captain Hook began to speak while Peter found a rope high on the ship to dangle from. "What do you want now boy?" He said in the raspy voice of his.

"Oh nothin Hook, just wanted to see the codfish that could walk and talk!" Peter replied, clearly amused at how the Captain's face was reddening in anger.

The Captain growled. "You are-" He was interrupted by a powerful wind that was followed by someone shouting in what seemed to be greek. Words that sounded a lot like Pan!

Peter's face paled. Something akin to horror bloomed on the young boy's face. Hook had never seen this reaction coming from the boy before. Curiosity took hold, and soon he was looking over the edge of the boat to where the voice was coming from. Hook listened again and it sounded more and more like the voice was coming from Neverland. Hook cocked his head, confusion on his face. "Who is that, boy? Someone you're... afraid of?" Asked the Captain, the last question sounded dark. Peter didn't respond. Instead, he began muttering under his breath. Soon, the boy shot from the rope he had claimed and flew towards Neverland, reaching speeds that Hook didn't know were possible. Captain Hook paused for a moment. Why didn't Pan respond? That was a rare occurrence. The more the Captain thought about it, the more questions there were. "Keep a lookout for Pan!" Hook commanded. "If I know him then he should be back soon." Strangely, he made no comments about Peter flying off. He just walked below the deck and began to think.

Panic spread through his body. His blood was still icy cold. Why? Why now? Why ever!? Peter wanted to scream. To cry. Yet instead he just kept flying. Back to Neverland. Quickly he slipped into the forest, dodging trees and vines to get to the stone. The dreaded stone. Where he never wanted to return.

"PAN!!!" The voice shouted once again.

"I'm coming! Gods!!" Peter shouted back, irritated. He entered a small cave under belch mountain, still flying at rapid speed. The walls were covered with outstanding vines and flowers. Such a beautiful place for something so horrible. Peter thought bitterly. An ancient ruin sat in the middle of the sacred place. The stone glowed white, getting brighter with each calling. No face could be seen, only the voice. Peter swiftly landed right behind the stone. He breathed for a moment before answering, "Yes, my king?" The words were said with barely contained anger.

"Pan! Why did you not answer sooner?" The voice yelled.

"I was busy Zeus, your Majesty." Peter answered, though the words were more colorful in his head.

"With what!? Nevermind, nevermind. I have called you today because Cronus has returned." Shock struck him fast.

"What do you want me to do about it?" Peter questioned, confused. The voice paused. Peter had a feeling that Zeus would be looking at him like he was an idiot.

"We want to use your island if Cronus succeeds in taking over Olympus."
