Windy would have loved to erase the last three months he had lived without Lightning.
Every day he promised himself that never again would he experience such painful feelings; they were heartbreaking.
He had felt like an accidentally born hyacinth of the desert: overwhelmed with pain and on the verge of breaking in half and dying.
He and Lightning had finally come back together: they had both realized that they could not stay away from each other, that they functioned properly only if they were close.
And as he watched Lightning walk beside him, Windy could not help but wonder if during their separation he had felt like a hyacinth accidentally born in the desert himself.
