Chapter 1: Pilot.
Chapter Text
In the courtyard of a bustling school campus, a young man found himself lying on the ground with a large woman pinning him down with her foot. The scene caught the attention of several students nearby, who whispered amongst themselves in concern.
"Is anybody going to help him?" one girl asked nervously.
"Don't try to be funny, you don't know who that giant is?" another girl replied with a warning tone.
As the students observed the unfolding situation, one of them spoke up, "That is Jasper Brooks, she's the biggest and 2nd deadliest girl here."
"She's already known for having the most amount of fights on campus, but she's Russian as well. And we all know how dangerous they are," another girl added.
The group fell silent as they watched Jasper, with a stern and intimidating expression on her face, continue to press her foot down on the young man.
Suddenly, the boy opened his right eye and saw a young woman squatting in front of him. Confusion and fear filled his eyes as he realized the gravity of the situation.
"Huh? Who is that girl?" the students whispered amongst themselves.
"That's her... Spinel Scarlett Stiles," one of the girls replied, causing a wave of shock to wash over the onlookers.
As Spinel stood up, glaring down at the man, the tension in the courtyard heightened. The young man attempted to explain himself, but Jasper silenced him by stepping even harder on his back.
"Shut your damn mouth! Sorry Boss but he tried to steal from your book bag," Jasper interjected, earning a gasp from the students.
Spinel's playful giggle sent chills down the spine of the onlookers. "Oh no, no, no, no... No. Yes, you are a sorry piece of trash that wouldn't be messed with if you didn't trespass on private property," she stated with a cold demeanor.
The young man pleaded for forgiveness, but Spinel's actions spoke louder than words. With a swift and painful blow, she kneeled him in the groin, causing the students to wince in sympathy.
"Who is that girl?" the students whispered amongst themselves once again.
"Spinel is a Mobster," one of the girls revealed, sending shockwaves through the crowd.
As the events unfolded, the students learned the nature of the dangerous individuals they were dealing with. Spinel and Jasper, feared and respected by all, commanded authority and respect on campus.
The young man, defeated and broken, lay on the ground as Spinel demanded payment for his transgressions. Despite his pleas, she confiscated his phone, a precious gift from his deceased grandmother.
In a final act of retribution, Jasper threw the young man against the ground, rendering him unconscious. The students watched in horror as the brutal display of power unfolded before their eyes.
With a final warning to all those present, Spinel and Jasper left the courtyard, leaving a lasting impression on the students and reinforcing the consequences of crossing Spinel's path
Chapter 2: The New Guy.
Chapter Text
Spinel sat in the computer room of the school with Jasper and three other girls, feeling bored and restless. They were trying to figure out what to do to pass the time when one of the girls suggested skipping school. As Spinel introduced the other girls to Jasper, she shared a bit of information about each of them.
"This is my family, Jasper; she's the muscle of the family, piss her off and you risk having 5 of your ribs breaking in one punch," Spinel explains, introducing the tough and formidable Jasper. Jasper may be the tough one, but she also plays a crucial role in the family dynamic, protecting and defending her fellow gems with her strength and unwavering loyalty.
"The little blonde over there is Peri; she's the brains, smart as hell but that cost her to get real egotistical. Sometimes I have to put her back in her place," Spinel continues, pointing out the brilliant but sometimes arrogant Peridot. Peridot may be highly intelligent, but her sharp tongue and big personality can sometimes cause tension within the group.
"The other shrimp with the long white hair is Amethyst; she's... Well, she's pretty lazy, but she was the first one who helped me come up so far, so I have nothing but love and respect for her," Spinel says, acknowledging the laid-back Amethyst. Despite her lazy tendencies, Amethyst's support and guidance have been instrumental in Spinel's growth and development.
"Ol Blue, she is Lapis; could say she's the most liked out of the family, but Lapis is... Well, it is kind of weird because she's had a thing with Jasper but those two have been seeming pretty chill, I feel like there's a thing going on between her and Peri," Spinel reveals, shedding light on the complex relationships within the family. Lapis may be the most well-liked gem, but her romantic entanglements and potential love triangle with Jasper and Peridot add a layer of intrigue and drama to the group dynamic.
As they chatted, Peri asked about Spinel's new phone and Lapis inquired about her old phone. The conversation was interrupted when they noticed a group of girls running past the door in a hurry. Curious, they decided to investigate and found the girls fangirling over a new boy in school. While some of the girls were uninterested, Spinel remained silent
Ame: Boss?
As Ame looked over at Spinel, she noticed a strange expression on her face. Spinel was staring intently at the new guy in the office, and there was something in her eyes that Ame couldn't quite place. Peri, another colleague, noticed Ame's concern and asked if something was wrong.
Spinel hesitated for a moment before replying, "No... It's nothing..." But her voice betrayed her true feelings, and it was clear that something was bothering her. Jasper, always quick to jump in with a suggestion, asked if they were still going to start a new project that day. Spinel brushed off the question, saying, "No... Not... Not at all..."
Ame, sensing that something was bothering her boss, asked softly, "You good, boss?" Spinel hesitated for a moment before nodding and saying, "Yeah..."
The atmosphere in the office was tense, and Ame couldn't help but feel worried about Spinel. She knew that her boss was usually confident and in control, but today something seemed off. Ame made a mental note to check in with Spinel later and offer her support if she needed it.
-Hours Later-
The young man had just finished his last class of the day and was walking from the school to his car in the parking lot. He had a slight pep in his step as he thought about all the exciting things that this year had in store for him. Little did he know, his day was about to take a very unexpected turn.
As he approached his car, he heard someone call out to him. "HEY!" The young man turned around, only to see a mysterious girl standing in front of him. She had a wild look in her eyes and a mischievous grin on her face. The young man felt a sudden sense of unease wash over him.
"Are you Steven Universe!?" The mob boss asked, her voice filled with attitude. Steven hesitated for a moment before responding, "Y-yes?" He said, his voice wavering slightly. The girl, who introduced herself as Spinel, suddenly grabbed his face tightly, causing Steven to flinch in surprise.
Spinel's grin grew even wider as she looked up at Steven. "Perfect!" She exclaimed, her voice sending shivers down Steven's spine. He took a step back, unsure of what to make of this strange encounter. "Uh, you mind telling me who..." Steven trailed off, trying to make sense of the situation.
"I'll need you to come with me," Spinel said firmly, her grip on Steven's face not loosening. Steven felt a surge of panic rises within him. "I-sorry but I don't really just go with people I just..." He stuttered, trying to come up with an excuse to get away from this unsettling girl.
"Funny," Spinel interjected, cutting off Steven's words. "Something about your face and eyes really pisses me off!" Her tone was filled with malice, and Steven could feel her anger radiating off of her. He was at a loss for words, unsure of how to handle this bizarre situation.
Steven was in shock. The blow was unexpected, knocking him to the ground and causing him to grunt in pain. He leaned up, feeling blood come from his nose, the metallic taste coating his mouth as he struggled to make sense of what had just happened.
"Chill out, Universe," Spinel said nonchalantly as she squatted down in front of him. "Or... These ladies here will hurt you." She lifted her fist tightly, a menacing smile playing on her lips. "But... If you come with me, your family will be safe 'and sound. And you'll get a chance to know your Mom's family."
"My Mom's family?" Steven repeated, his voice tinged with a mix of curiosity and suspicion. "What do you know about them?"
Spinel grinned, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "I know so much, plenty of things about them... and Her. So... What do you say?" She stuck her hand out towards him, a silent invitation hanging in the air.
Steven hesitated, unsure of what to do. He was wary of Spinel and her motives, but uncovering more about his mother and her family was too tempting to resist. With a heavy sigh, he reluctantly took her hand. "Fine," he said, his voice resigned.
"Great," Spinel exclaimed, her excitement palpable. She pulled him to his feet, a triumphant smile on her face. "Then it's a deal."
As Steven stood there, holding his nose and trying to process the whirlwind of emotions and events that had just unfolded, Spinel's tone shifted. "But honestly it's a shame that you agreed," she mused, her voice taking on a darker edge. "I honestly wanted to beat on you more and potentially knock you out and kidnap you. Sure as hell makes things more interesting."
Steven recoiled in shock at her words. The casual way in which she spoke about violence and kidnapping sent chills down his spine. "The heck is the matter with you?" he asked, his voice laced with anger and fear.
Spinel waved him off, dismissing his concerns with a playful shrug. "Shut it, before I change my mind," she warned, her eyes glinting with a predatory gleam. "Now, let's go. Time's a-wasting."
As they got into Steven's car and drove off, Steven couldn't help but feel a sense of unease and trepidation. He had made a deal with a scary girl whose motives and intentions were shrouded in mystery and danger.

Chapter Text
The front door opened up quickly, and Steven fell inside on his stomach, exclaiming, "Ouch! Was that really necessary!?" Spinel replied, "Yes, now shut up and get to the moving!" as she walked over him. Steven got up and quickly followed behind Spinel as they walked through the house. Steven noticed paintings of three other ladies with his mother on the walls.
Spinel explained, "The other old bags are your mother's sisters." Steven was surprised and asked, "Really?" Spinel continued, "Richest bitches in the whole state. But I need to know..." She said. Steven trailed off, but Spinel cut him off, saying, "You'll know soon enough. Shut up and stop asking questions."
As they reached the end of the hall, the door opened, revealing two more ladies.
In the heat of the moment, Spinel’s rage boiled over as she grabbed Steven’s shirt and slammed him against the wall. Startled and caught off guard, Steven could only manage a weak protest, “Geez! She’s strong-” but before he could finish his sentence, Spinel cut him off with a sharp command, “Shut the fuck up dammit!”
The sudden noise caught the attention of two ladies who appeared at the end of the hall, their expressions a mix of shock and concern. Lady3 scolded Spinel, “Little one! Language!” while Lady2 demanded answers, “What is the meaning of this!? Who is that?”
Spinel, ever defiant, replied without hesitation, “The dumbass here doesn’t understand the English language of ‘Shut the hell up.’ So I was about to beat the meaning into him!”
The ladies turned their gazes towards Steven, who felt a wave of embarrassment and confusion wash over him. Lady 2 addressed Spinel with a stern tone, “Spinel! Why did you bring a young man here!?” Lady3 added with a touch of worry, “And where have you been? We’ve been worried about you.”
Spinel, unapologetic and unyielding, laid down two simple truths, “1. I can be anywhere I want to be, and not a damn soul in this bitch is going to tell me otherwise. 2. Don’t get it twisted, I ain’t fucking with this limp dick fuck boy.”
Steven, feeling a mix of frustration and indignation, found his voice and retorted, “Excuse me!?”
Spinel's tone held a mixture of disgust and anger as she spoke about Steven, referring to him as "Susan's hellspawn." The others in the room, including Lisa and Helga, looked on in shock at the scene unfolding before them.
Steven, pushed forcefully to the floor by Spinel, was clearly in a vulnerable position. His arm was bent at an awkward angle, and his face was forced into the ground.
As Lisa hesitated, trying to make sense of the situation, Helga stepped in. "What is it, Lisa?" she asked, her voice filled with concern. Lisa, finally finding her voice, questioned, "Isn't that-"
Spinel interrupted, confirming Lisa's suspicions. "Yeah, it's Susan's hellspawn," she spat out, her disgust evident in her voice. It was clear that Spinel had no intention of showing any mercy to Steven, whom she saw as nothing more than a plaything to be discarded at will.
"That's enough, little one." A voice came from the end of the room.
Spinel looked up with a pissed-off look on her face, seeing a tall lady with white hair. The atmosphere in the room suddenly grew tense as the two women locked eyes.
"Huh?" Steven said he struggled to get a good look at the unfolding situation before him. Christine and Spinel were locking eyes, tension thick in the air as harsh words were exchanged.
"Why are you such a troubled child?" Christine questioned Christine, her tone laced with condescension.
"Why are you such a dried-out whore?" Spinel shot back, her anger evident in her words.
"That's cute," Christine said in a mocking tone "Such an angry child so you have to resort to violence and being in a crew so you don't feel lonely again". Christine taunted, a smirk playing on her lips.
Spinel, unable to contain her rage any longer, pulled out her gun and aimed it at the white-haired lady.
"Struck a nerve, did I?" Christine's tone was mocking, her fearlessness apparent.
Tch! Spinel gritted her teeth, her grip on the gun tightening.
"If you think that's supposed to scare me? Good luck, remember that- Christine's words were cut off by Steven's interruption.
"Ma'am!" Steven interjected, trying to diffuse the escalating tension between the two women.
"Huh? My my, are you kidnapping people?" Christine asked, her tone changing as she addressed Steven.
Lisa, who had been observing the exchange silently, finally spoke up: She said that is Susan's... "Hellspawn"
The tension between Christine and Spinel was palpable, their words sharp and filled with animosity. It was clear that there was a history between them, something that ran deep and unresolved.
As Steven tried to intervene, it was evident that he was trying to prevent a potentially dangerous situation from escalating further. His voice was calm and assertive, a stark contrast to the heated exchange between the two women.
Christine's demeanor shifted as she addressed Steven, her tone becoming more curious and less confrontational. It was as if she was sizing him up, trying to understand his role in the unfolding drama.
Meanwhile, Spinel's grip on the gun remained firm, her anger simmering just beneath the surface. It was clear that she was on edge, ready to lash out at any moment.
As Lisa spoke up, her words hung in the air, adding a layer of mystery to the already tense situation. The mention of Susan's "Hellspawn" hinted at a larger, more sinister backstory that was yet to be revealed.
In the end, the confrontation between Christine and Spinel had been averted, thanks to Steven's intervention. But the lingering tension and unresolved issues remained, leaving a sense of unease in the air.
The room was tense as Spinel pinned the gun behind Steven's head, a look of anger and desperation in her eyes. The others in the room, Christine, Lisa, and Helga, watched in shock and fear as Spinel demanded to know the whereabouts of Susan, her voice filled with rage.
"Spinel! What are you doing!?" Christine cried out
Lisa stepped forward, her voice trembling as she tried to reason with Spinel. "Spinel, please, don't do this. We can talk about this, we can-"
But Spinel cut her off, her voice harsh and unforgiving. "Hey, dumbass, where the fuck is she!?"
Steven, pinned beneath Spinel's feet, struggled to speak. "Huh!?"
Spinel's patience wore thin as she quickly stood up and kicked Steven onto his back, causing him to grunt in pain. Lisa's eyes widened in horror as she watched Spinel's violent actions unfold.
"Spinel!" Lisa cried out, her voice filled with fear and disbelief.
Helga, who had been watching silently from the corner of the room, stepped forward cautiously. "If you-"
But Spinel wasn't having any of it. "Shut the fuck up!" she snapped, her eyes blazing with fury.
She sat down on Steven's chest, her feet pinning his hands down as she leaned in close to his face, her voice low and threatening. "Now listen up, okay? Where... Is... Susan!?"
Steven, struggling to speak through the pain, managed to gasp out a response. "She's... She's gone-"
But before he could finish his sentence, Spinel's fist connected with his face, Lisa gasped in horror, unable to comprehend the violence unfolding before her.
"Come on, you stupid fuck!" Spinel's voice was filled with rage as she demanded answers from Steven. "Don't lie to me! Where is that bitch!?"
The room fell silent as Steven's eyes met Spinel's, a mixture of fear and defiance in his gaze. The tension in the room was palpable as everyone waited for his response, unsure of what would happen next.
She's dead...
Spinel's eyes widened in shock as the truth hit him like a ton of bricks. She slowly turned to anger, her emotions bubbling to the surface as she processed Steven's devastating revelation. "The fuck you mean!?" She exclaimed, her voice rising with each word.
Spinel's hands clenched into fists as she grabbed Steven's lower jaw, his anger palpable in the tense silence of the room. "THE FUCK YOU MEAN SHE'S DEAD!?" She bellowed, his voice echoing off the walls.
Steven's eyes filled with sympathy as he met Spinel's gaze. "She died years ago, on the same day I was born," she explained softly, aware of the pain his words were causing.
Lisa gasped, her hand flying to her mouth in shock. Christine's eyes widened in realization, and Helga's expression softened with understanding.
"On the same day?" Christine whispered, her voice barely audible.
Steven nodded, his eyes welling up with tears. "Yeah... The doctor said her body couldn't handle the burden of having a child. That I would die along with her, but she wanted to prove him wrong, that I would live, even if it meant that she wouldn't be able to see me afterward. But..." he trailed off, unable to finish his sentence.
"But she didn't make it..." Lisa finished for him, her voice heavy with sorrow.
Spinel's jaw clenched, her teeth grinding together in frustration. "Hell no!" She exclaimed, her voice filled with fierce determination.
The ladies exchanged confused glances, unsure of what Spinel was trying to convey.
"No! That can't be fucking true!" Spinel shouted, her anger reaching a boiling point. "That bitch isn't getting off scot-free after the shit she pulled!"
Steven looked at him in confusion, unable to understand the source of Spinel's rage. "What? What do you mean?"
But before Steven could finish his sentence, Spinel's actions spoke louder than words. Spinel headbutted Steven, the force of the impact causing Steven to stumble backward in shock and knock him out.
"Spinel!" Lisa cried out, her hands reaching out in a futile attempt to stop her.
"WAKE UP BITCH!"
Steven's eyes opened slowly, the bright light of the room causing him to squint. He saw Spinel in front of him, holding a pistol in her hand. His heart raced as he tried to make sense of the situation.
"Looks like you got enough beauty sleep," Spinel said with a smirk.
Steven looked down and realized that he was chained to a chair. Panic set in as he struggled against the restraints.
"What happened? Where am I?" Steven asked, his voice trembling.
"You're in my place of operation. Don't think about screaming, this place is soundproof," Spinel replied coldly.
Steven's mind raced as he tried to figure out why he was in this predicament. "Why am I here?" he managed to stammer out.
"Isn't it obvious?" Spinel raised the gun and pointed it at Steven. "I'm gonna end your ass."
Steven's eyes widened in fear. "But why? What have I done to you?"
Spinel's expression darkened as she spoke. "Is there even a point in explaining? You won't be living long enough to wish for a redo."
Steven felt a pang of guilt as he realized that he must have hurt Spinel in some way. "So... She must have some kind of special place in your heart, huh? And because of me, she's gone."
Spinel's grip on the gun tightened as she spoke through gritted teeth. "She was a mother figure to me. But then she left me... To have an actual child of her own... You..."
Understanding dawned on Steven as he saw the pain and anger in Spinel's eyes. "I see... Well... Go ahead."
Spinel hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to do next. Steven seized the opportunity, placing his head at the end of the gun.
"It's only fair to have payback ..." Steven said quietly, his voice filled with resignation.
"Shut the fuck up!" Spinel shouted, kicking Steven in the face and knocking him to the ground.
As Steven lay on the floor, groaning in pain, Spinel stood over him with a look of triumph. She planted her foot on his arm, pinning him down.
"For now on ... You'll be my errand boy, you got that!?" Spinel declared. "Bitch one time and I'll fuck you up, you got that!?"
The tension in the room was palpable as Spinel's threat hung in the air. Steven knew that he had no choice but to comply with her demands if he wanted to survive. As he lay on the floor, battered and broken, he realized that he was now at the mercy of a vengeful and dangerous woman.
In the days that followed, Steven found himself carrying out Spinel's orders without question. He was forced to do her bidding, no matter how dangerous or immoral it may be. With each passing day, Steven's fear and resentment grew, but he knew that he had no way out of this nightmare.

Chapter Text
-The next day-
Spinel walked nonchalantly down the hallway of the school, passing by students who stared at her in shock and whispered amongst themselves. She had Steven by her side, walking obediently like a dog, his face red with embarrassment as he wore a dog collar around his neck.
"C'mon, fuck boy!" Spinel said to Steven, giving him a playful shove. "If you don't pick up the speed, I'll have you neutered!"
Steven quickly picked up his pace, walking beside her with a mixture of fear and confusion on his face. "Why... why do I-"
"Did I tell you to speak!?" Spinel cut him off, grabbing the nape of his neck and pushing him to the floor. Steven grunted in pain as she pressed her finger deep into his neck.
"You're a dog!" Spinel declared, her voice cold and commanding. "You listen to me! You got that!?"
Just then, a group of Spinel's friends - Peridot, Lapis, Amethyst, and Jasper approached them, looking concerned and curious.
"Ah, Hey girls, lookie what I got!" Spinel said gleefully, pointing at Steven with a grin.
Jasper frowned, her expression troubled. "Boss? Why are you-"
Spinel interrupted her, explaining, "You remember Susan, right? Well, this mutt is her kid. And you know the saying - like mother , like son . If she's a bitch, you gotta treat 'em like one!"
Amethyst gasped in realization. "That's... her son?"
Lapis shook her head in disbelief. "Damn..."
Peridot, always the logical one, chimed in, "The chances of encountering her offspring are 1 and a half out of 100. Seriously, here of all places."
Spinel shrugged off the comment, dismissing it. "Well, that doesn't matter now. He's my dog, and like a dog, he will do as I say."
Amethyst then remembered something and asked, "Wait, is that why you asked me to bring... these ?" Amethyst said as she pulled up a bag of stuff
Spinel's eyes lit up with excitement as she saw the bag Amethyst had brought. She quickly opened it and peeked inside, revealing a collection of toys and treats. With a wicked smile, she turned to Steven, who gulped nervously at the sight.
Spinel and some of the other students began to laugh at Steven when he dropped his head down from embarrassment. The reason for their laughter was that Steven was wearing dog ears, which made him feel self-conscious and embarrassed. As the teasing continued, Steven felt his cheeks flush with humiliation and shame.
Ame, Jasper, Spinel, and Peridot were all part of the same class, but their personalities and attitudes varied greatly. Ame was known for her kind and compassionate nature, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Jasper, on the other hand, had a more abrasive personality, often making sarcastic remarks and jokes at the expense of others. Spinel was the mischievous one, always looking for ways to entertain herself and others, even if it meant poking fun at someone. Peridot was the intellectual one of the group, often using complex words and phrases to express her thoughts and feelings.
As the teasing continued, Steven felt more and more isolated and alone. The laughter of his classmates echoed in his ears, making him feel like he was the butt of some cruel joke. Spinel's taunts stung the most, as she continued to mock him with her high-pitched voice and playful demeanor.
"Ouch! Keep forgetting how sadistic the boss can really be," Jasper remarked, causing the others to laugh even harder. Ame tried to intervene, sensing that Steven was genuinely upset, but her efforts were in vain.
"What's wrong, doggy? You're embarrassed? Want your mommy?" Spinel taunted, unable to contain her laughter. The words cut deep into Steven's heart, causing tears to well up in his eyes. He felt like a child again, small and vulnerable in the face of mockery and ridicule.
"Emotional damage!" Peridot exclaimed, using her trademark catchphrase to sum up the situation. Steven felt like he had been emotionally wounded, his self-esteem crumbling under the weight of his classmates' cruel words.
Just then, the school bell ringed,
"That's breakfast" Lapis stated
"Hey! Come on you mutt! I got something special for you to eat!" Spinel said as she tugged on the leash
All the students watch in disgust as they see Spinel sitting on the cafeteria table with peanut butter on her feet. Ame expresses sympathy for the guy, while Lapis agrees that it is gross. Peridot simply cannot believe what she is witnessing and reacts with repulsion.
Spinel sat confidently on the cafeteria table, her feet covered in peanut butter. The other students watched in disgust as she taunted them, reveling in the attention she received. Ame, ever the sympathetic one, expressed her concern for Steven, who was being forced to lick Spinel's toes. Lapis, on the other hand, agreed with the general sentiment that the situation was indeed gross.
Peridot, who always prided herself on her logical thinking, couldn't believe what she was witnessing. Her usual calm demeanor was replaced by a look of repulsion as she observed the scene unfolding before her. Spinel's behavior was so outrageous and out of line that even Peridot couldn't muster up a response.
As Spinel continued to taunt the other students, she singled out Steven and challenged him to lick her peanut butter-covered toe. She goaded him, calling him a "good dog" and asserting her superiority over him. The other students, including Peridot, were appalled at Spinel's cruel behavior and called her out for her actions.
Steven hesitated, clearly uncomfortable with the idea of licking Spinel's toe. But under her pressure and the eyes of his classmates, he eventually gave in to her demands. The students reacted with shock and disgust at his actions, some, like Jasper, unable to believe what they were witnessing.
Spinel, however, reveled in the power she held over Steven. She enjoyed the control she had over him, manipulating him into doing her bidding. As he continued to lick her toes, she egged him on, demanding that he swallow the peanut butter.
"See? Was that so hard?" she taunted him, a sinister smirk on her face. "Now for the rest."
Steven complied, licking her toes with more passion, much to Spinel's delight. She couldn't help but remark on his skill, even in such a bizarre and disgusting situation.
"Damn, I can't lie, he sure as hell knows how to work that tongue," she said, her smirk growing even more sinister.
The other students looked on in disbelief, unable to comprehend what was happening before their eyes. Spinel's behavior had crossed a line, and it was clear that she took pleasure in pushing the boundaries of what was acceptable.
As Steven reluctantly continued to lick her toes, the other students began to speak out against Spinel. They called her out for her cruelty and lack of respect for Steven. Even Peridot, who had been initially shocked into silence, found her voice and joined in the chorus of disapproval.
Spinel, however, remained unfazed. She continued to mock the other students, asserting her superiority and reveling in the attention she received. It was clear that she thrived on the power she held over her classmates, enjoying the chaos and discomfort she had caused.
The cafeteria fell into a tense silence as Steven finally finished licking Spinel's toes. The other students looked on in a mix of shock and disgust, unsure of how to react to what they had just witnessed.
Spinel, however, seemed pleased with herself, basking in the attention and power she had garnered.
-6 Hours of Hell Later-
Spinel and Steven walked out of the school, their tense conversation filling the air around them. Spinel, with a smirk on her face, couldn't help but taunt Steven about his lineage, about being Pink's son. Steven, feeling the weight of his mother's legacy on his shoulders, couldn't contain his anger.
"You've been pretty obedient, you're learning," Spinel said slyly, taking pleasure in Steven's discomfort.
Steven looked away, trying to control his emotions. "Mad I see, well you have to pay the price for being Pink's kid," Spinel continued, pushing Steven's buttons.
"So me being born is a problem? Because of my mom!? What did my mom do to you!?" Steven retorted, his voice rising with frustration.
"I don't have to explain to you, just shut up!" Spinel snapped back, trying to regain the upper hand.
"No!" Steven refused to back down, his eyes blazing with anger.
"It's not a choice! You can get your ass moving or I'll-" Spinel threatened, but Steven cut her off.
"Or what!? You'll beat!? You'll kill me!? I already feel embarrassed after being put through that mess!" Steven's voice cracked with emotion.
"Talking a lot of shit after being made into my bitch," Spinel sneered, trying to regain control of the situation.
"Taking with your chest after being abandoned," Steven shot back, a hint of bitterness in his voice.
"That's why your mother is dead," Spinel's words cut through the air like a knife, causing Steven to clench his fists in anger.
"Dead as hell. What life is she living? What life does she have in the ground? That's why her life subscript got revoked, no soul-having ass, she can't pray to Jesus!" Spinel's taunts seemed to know no bounds.
"Why do you look like every classic cartoon crazy chick?" Steven couldn't help but comment, trying to deflect the conversation away from his mother.
"Why do you seem like every whiny ass bitch boy in those animes where you think you're going to get the girl just for you to get cucked?" Spinel shot back, her words dripping with venom.
"At least I was wanted," Steven retorted, a hint of sadness in his voice.
Spinel, unable to contain her anger any longer, pulled out her pistol, the glint of metal catching the sunlight. "I'm sorry, I can't hear so well, so I'm going to need you to repeat that, but this time," she cocked her pistol, "Say it with your chest."
Steven's eyes widened in shock, realizing the seriousness of the situation. His mind raced as he tried to think of a way to defuse the situation before it escalated further.
Spinel smiling mockingly as she knew she had the high ground.
Chapter 5: Testing the Love.
Chapter Text
Spinel walked out of the room, her knuckles dripping with blood from the fight she just had with Steven. She couldn't help but feel a sense of frustration and anger towards him, knowing that he was the reason she was in this mess in the first place. She had lost someone dear to her because of him, and now he was the only connection she had left to that person.
As she walked over to the mirror and looked at her reflection, she couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness and betrayal. The one person she had trusted had abandoned her, leaving her alone to deal with the consequences of their actions. It wasn't fair, and it made her blood boil with rage.
"The fact she's not here to tell me why the hell she abandoned me! It fucking pisses me off!" Spinel clenched her fists and punched the mirror, cracking it with the force of her anger. "She got off scot-free, and now I'm stuck here dealing with her mess. Her fucking brat has to pay the price she made for him!"
Her phone ringing interrupted her thoughts, and she quickly answered it. It was Peri, one of her colleagues, with some information about Steven. Apparently, he had a girlfriend who lived in Beach City, the same place where he resided. This news intrigued Spinel, and she decided to send Jasper to fetch the girl immediately.
As she hung up the phone, Spinel couldn't help but wonder about her other companions, Amethyst and Lapis. Amethyst was out getting drunk, which wasn't surprising, and Lapis was having one of her "days". Spinel knew that Lapis struggled with depression, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of empathy towards her.
But when she questioned Peri about her relationship with Lapis, the response she received was not what she expected. Peri stuttered and lied, claiming that they were just friends. Spinel could see through the deception and felt a surge of anger and disappointment.
"What's going on between you and Lapis?" Spinel's voice was cold and threatening. "Don't lie to me, Peri. I can see right through you. Disrespecting me and lying to me is a sure way to get yourself in deep trouble."
When Spinel questioned Peri about her relationship with Lapis, she was met with stuttering and lies. Peri claimed that they were just friends, but Spinel could see through the deception. Anger and disappointment surged through her as she confronted Peri about the truth.
"What's going on between you and Lapis?" Spinel's voice was cold and threatening. "Don't lie to me, Peri. I can see right through you. Disrespecting me and lying to me is a sure way to get yourself in deep trouble."
Peri trembled in fear, apologizing for her dishonesty. "I'm sorry, Boss," she stammered. "I didn't mean to deceive you. The truth is, me and Lapis are more than just friends."
Spinel's expression darkened as she processed the revelation. She knew that this information could potentially cause turmoil within their mob family, especially with Jasper involved. Jasper was known for her hot temper and fierce loyalty, particularly when it came to those she cared about.
"Does Jasper know about this?" Spinel inquired, her tone still sharp.
Peri shook her head, fear evident in her eyes. "No, Boss. I wanted to tell you first because I know how Jasper can react to things she doesn't like."
Spinel sighed, running a hand through her hair in frustration. She understood the delicate situation they were in. Jasper's protective nature could quickly turn dangerous if she felt threatened or betrayed.
"I need you and Lapis to be cautious around Jasper," Spinel warned. "She may listen to me most of the time, but when it comes to matters of the heart, she's unpredictable. You both must be on your guard."
Peri nodded fervently, her expression filled with gratitude for Spinel's guidance. "Thank you, Boss. I'll make sure to keep things under control."
As they continued their conversation, Peri couldn't help but notice the change in Spinel's demeanor. The usually stern and intimidating mob boss was showing a softer side, offering advice and understanding to her underlings.
"This is the first time we've talked like... friends, maybe?" Peri ventured, a hint of uncertainty in her voice.
Spinel paused, considering Peri's words. "Just because we're part of a mob doesn't mean we can't have a friendly relationship," she admitted. "We may be young, but I care about your well-being. I'll always be there to guide you, even if it means being tough on you."
Peri felt a newfound sense of camaraderie with Spinel, grateful for her boss's unexpected kindness and support. Before their conversation could continue, Jasper and another member of their mob approached them, interrupting the moment.
"I have to go," Peri whispered hurriedly. "I need to take care of something for Boss."
Spinel nodded, giving Peri a final warning before she left. "Make sure to bring her back to my place. I want her to witness what happens when someone crosses me."
Peri ended the call with Spinel, leaving her feeling frustrated and determined to carry out her plan. As she walked back to the room, she found Steven lying against the wall and decided to confront him about his loyalty to his girlfriend.
Spinel crouched down in front of Steven and asked him if he would be willing to die for his girlfriend. She knew that his answer would reveal his true colors and she was curious to see how he would respond.
Steven hesitated for a moment before opening up about his difficult past, mentioning his lack of family and struggles in life. Spinel was taken aback when she saw a resemblance to an older man in Steven's face but brushed it off as a coincidence.
Just as their conversation was getting deeper, Spinel received a notification on her phone. It was a voice message instructing her to play it for Steven. The voice recording contained a disturbing message that aimed to test Steven's loyalty severely.
As the recording played, Steven's expression changed, and Spinel could see the conflict in his eyes.
The Audio of her phone began to play
The ringing of the phone broke the silence in the room, the sound of Peri's voice echoing through the speaker. "So let's ask you this, would you be willing to die for Steven?" Connie's voice sounded unsure as she replied, "W-what!?" Jasper's voice cut in, menacing and demanding, "She didn't stutter! Would you die for your man!?" Connie stuttered, "I-I mean... I..." Jasper's threat was clear, "Get to talk or I'll get to beating, and you see your head size compared to my hand is like a toy to a grizzly! Now TALK!" Connie finally confessed, "Okay! Okay! No! I wouldn't!"
Steven opened his eyes, listening to Connie's response. Peri's voice interjected, "Wow, that's..." Connie continued, "I love him... But... I would never give my life to him, hell... Hell, sometimes he can just be so... So damn annoying with his positivity, I love him, I really do, but I would never let my life go for his, I know he would do the same!" Peri questioned, "And are you sure with... That answer?" Connie affirmed, "Y-yes! I do." Jasper reacted, "Wow..." The voicemail ended, leaving Spinel to observe the scene.
Spinel turned her attention to Steven, seeing him with his head hung low. She joked, "Hey, Are you good numb nuts?" But her tone softened as she noticed tears in Steven's eyes. Spinel was taken aback, thinking to herself, "He's crying!? He's actually crying!? Not pissed! Not fury! He's... A baby... That's pretty fucking sad..."
In this emotional moment, Spinel reached out to Steven, she reached out to slight, but pulled her hand away from Steven. She expressed her surprise at his vulnerable state.
Chapter 6: Makeover.
Chapter Text
Spinel and her crew walked to school side by side, their footsteps synchronized as they made their way towards the building. They chatted amongst themselves, discussing the events of the previous day and making plans for the day ahead.
"So after that, you let them meet and both of them said what they needed to say, and that's it?" Lapis questioned, her curiosity piqued about the recent breakup that had occurred.
"Yeah, that's pretty much what happened," Spinel replied nonchalantly, her hands placed behind her head. "They had their closure and now they're moving on."
"Wow, that must have been tough for them," Peridot commented, adjusting her glasses as she walked. "Breakups are never easy, especially when fear is involved."
"Who ended it? It was girl, right?" Jasper inquired, her tone curious as she scanned the faces of her friends.
"The girl did. Her name was Connie Maheswaran," Peridot answered, recalling the details of the breakup.
"Connie Maheswaran, huh? Sounds like a fancy name," Jasper remarked, rolling her eyes. "Typical that she would be the one to call it off."
"Yeah, it's a shame. She let her fears get the best of her," Lapis muttered, shaking her head in disappointment.
As they continued walking, Spinel glanced ahead and spotted Steven sitting in the courtyard, his head bowed and shoulders slumped. Without hesitation, she veered off from her friends and made her way towards him.
"I'm gonna go talk to him. You guys can head to class if you want," Spinel called over her shoulder, Spinel said as she walked off
The others exchanged confused glances before shrugging and continuing on their way. Spinel approached the him sitting in the courtyard, his eyes red-rimmed and tear-streaked.
Spinel snorted heartly, following up with a laugh, making Steven look up. "Wow! I knew that I was gonna hurt you, but this is how you still are? Rose's kid, Steven Universe?" She laughed mockingly, making Steven clinch his fist.
"You gotta be kidding me. How pathetic you have to be to still crying over some pussy ass bitch!" Spinel stated, suddenly Steven stood up quickly and grabbed Spinel by her shirt collar.
Spinel and her group of friends walked together in perfect unison towards their school building. As they walked, they engaged in light-hearted conversations about the events of the previous day and made plans for the day ahead. Lapis expressed her curiosity about the recent breakup that occurred and asked Spinel how it had ended. Spinel explained that both parties had met and expressed their feelings, leading to closure and an amicable end to the relationship. Peridot added that breakups can be difficult, especially when fear is involved.
Jasper was particularly interested in knowing who had ended the relationship and asked if it was a girl. Peridot confirmed that it was indeed a girl named Connie Maheswaran who had made the decision to call it quits. Jasper rolled her eyes and commented that her name sounded fancy and typical of someone who would end a relationship.
Lapis expressed disappointment at the fact that Connie had let her fears get the best of her. As they continued walking, Spinel noticed Steven sitting alone in the courtyard with his head bowed and shoulders slumped. She decided to leave her friends and approach him to see how he's holding up.
As she approached him, she noticed that his eyes were red-rimmed and tear-streaked. She let out a hearty snort and followed it up with a mocking laugh, causing Steven to look up in surprise. She taunted him, saying that she knew she was going to hurt him, but she didn't expect him to still be crying over it. She called him "Rose's kid, Steven Universe" and insulted him for being so pathetic as to cry over a "pussy ass bitch." Her words angered Steven, and he stood up quickly and grabbed her by the shirt collar.
Just then, Spinel punched Steven in the kidney full force, making him fall to his knees. She quickly got behind Steven wrapped her armd around his neck, she began to squeeze tighter.
"So if you can explain to me in one sentence why you thought this was a good idea, I just might let you go" Spinel said. Steven could only grunt as he struggled to breathe. "Yeah, see, I don't get it either" She said, continuing to choke Steven.
As Steven struggled to breathe, Spinel couldn't help but smile. "How embarrassing," she said. "You're so much bigger than me, yet I managed to choke you out." However, she quickly released her grip. "Don't worry," she said. "I've had enough fun for now. Get up and follow me."
Steven, still holding his neck, was understandably confused. "Where are we going?" he asked.
"We're going to my place," Spinel replied. Her demeanor was calm and
As Steven struggled for breath, Spinel looked down at him, smiling. "How embarrassing," she said. "As big as you are compared to me, getting choked out by me shouldn't even be possible, and yet, I got you struggling." Despite her words, Spinel didn't appear to be angry or upset. Rather, she seemed to be enjoying herself.
After a moment, Spinel released Steven's neck, allowing him to breathe once more. "You know what," she said. "I'll spare you for now, only for the time being of course." As Steven gasped for air, Spinel gestured for him to stand up. "Get up and follow me," she said.
Steven looked confused and bewildered as he struggled to his feet. "W-what? Where are we going?" He asked
"I'm taking you back to my place"
10 Minute Later, Jasper, Peri, and Lapis were in the gym room, with Jasper benching an impressive 250lbs while Peri and Lapis sat on the weights she was lifting, chatting and enjoying the workout. Suddenly, Peri's phone began to vibrate, interrupting their conversation. She took a quick glance at it and was surprised to see that it was a message from her boss, Spinel.
"What's wrong?" Lapis asked, noticing the look of surprise on Peri's face. "It's the boss," Peri said, still in disbelief. "She's taking Steven to her place." Jasper, who was in the middle of a rep, paused, surprised by what he had just heard.
Peri continued to read the message out loud to the others, her voice filled with concern, "Once she's done with him, he'll be a man. Luckily enough, I know how to boys to men." Lapis's expression immediately turned into shock. "Wait, is she planning on taking his virginity?" she asked, concerned.
Peri looked just as concerned as Lapis, and the trio continued to discuss the situation, realizing how serious it was.
Steven sitting on the chair place in the the middle of the living of Spinel's place with a nervous expression. Just then, Spinel walked out of the bathroom with something behind her back with a smile.
"Stay still and let me do my job. If you move, I won't hesitate to take action." Spinel's voice was firm as she walked towards Steven, who was still lost in his thoughts about his break up with Connie. Spinel held Steven's face and made him look up at her.
"If you're going to keep crying and whining about her, I'll let the metal on my hip do the talking, and you won't like it," she warned him, pointing to the gun hanging from her pants. She then quickly revealed a set of clippers and a bag of hair products, surprising Steven.
"Wait, y-you're about to cut my hair? Why!?" He asked. Spinel rolled her eyes as she folded her arms. "Simple," she said, "You're not gonna be whining like a bitch when you're in my sights over some spineless bitch!"
"Don't insult her! And she only did that because she was in danger, so of course she wouldn't wanna be-" before Steven could finish that sentence, Spinel grabbed him by the face again and locked eyes with him.
"You both are a pair of dumbasses! You really care for someone wouldn't risk their life to be with you!?" She exclaimed angrily.
Steven was clearly alarmed at the prospect of Spinel cutting his hair. "Wait, y-you're about to cut my hair? Why!?" he asked, his voice wavering slightly. Spinel rolled her eyes in response and folded her arms. "Simple," she said, her tone matter-of-fact. "You're not gonna be whining like a bitch when you're in my sights over some spineless bitch who dumped you!"
Feeling defensive, Steven tried to interject and defend Connie; his ex girlfriend who Spinel had insulted, but before he could get his words out, Spinel grabbed him by the face and locked eyes with him. "You both are a pair of dumbasses!" she exclaimed, her voice rising with frustration. "Anyone who truly cares for someone wouldn risk their life to be with them. You need to wake up and realize that!"
"You say that like you would! You say that you were in Connie shoes, you would be willing to-" Spinel once more, interrupting him as shes saying "Of course I would you dumbass! You think I'd let the love of my life die? If you believe that, you're dumber than you look!" She exclaimed.
The room falls silent as Spinel declares, "Just shut up, I'm giving you a makeover." A determined expression takes over her face as she begins to cut Steven's long, curly hair, giving him a temp fade. As she snips away, she can't help but notice how soft his hair is, and she takes extra care to ensure that the new style suits him. After a few minutes of careful snipping and trimming, Spinel steps back to admire her handiwork. "Yeah, with this look, you're more manly," she declares, nodding in approval.
Suddenly, Spinel realizes that there's more work to be done. "Hm... wait a minute, I need to do your eyebrows, but my legs have been hurting for a minute." Steven looks a bit confused as Spinel plops herself down on his lap, facing him. "Keep still," she instructs, grabbing his lower jaw as she carefully begins to put notches in his eyebrows. Despite the strange situation, Steven can't help but take notice of Spinel's gentle touch and her focused expression. As she finishes up, he can't help but wonder what's going through her mind.
'What is she doing!?' he thought to himself. 'She's sitting on my lap and being this close? I mean I get that she didn't wanna take a break because it takes up time, but sitting on a guy's lap isn't a good idea-"
"I'm sorry Susan..." Spinel said out of the blue, shocking Steven, "I'm sorry... For not being the child you wanted, I'm sorry for not being good enough... I... I just wanted to be there for you, be there with you like a normal happy family. Like a real daughter and mother." Spinel said unknowingly.
"Spinel... Are you-"
"What? N-no! I'm fine!" She said as she stood up. "I'm done with your brows you fucking idiot! And by the way, if I feel you poking me like that again, imma shoot it off!"
Steven quickly covered his crotch area while his face turned red as Spinel walked off.
Chapter 7: All for Revenge.
Chapter Text
As Spinel and Ame were leaving school, they engaged in a conversation about a guy who seemed to have gained the attention of most girls in the school. Ame asked Spinel if the reason behind the girls' fascination with him was the makeover he recently had. Spinel confirmed that it was indeed the case and added that the guy had previously required the makeover to look better.
Ame then expressed her concern about Spinel's behavior towards the guy. She pointed out that Spinel had been surprisingly nice to him, which was uncharacteristic of her. Spinel looked at her friend with a puzzled expression, unsure of why Ame was worried about her.
Ame then reminded Spinel that she had a reputation for being harsh with people, especially guys. She asked if everything was okay with Spinel. Spinel explained that she was only being nice to the guy because he had helped her out the previous day. She clarified that any other day, she would have either beaten him up or emotionally hurt him.
Ame was taken aback by Spinel's response and asked her to elaborate on what she meant by "emotionally hurt." Spinel didn't respond to Ame's question and instead changed the subject, leaving her friend to wonder what she meant by her statement.
-Previous Chapter-
"I'm fine!" She said, her voice shaking slightly as she stood up. "I'm done with your brows, you idiot!" she continued, her frustration rising. "And by the way, if I feel you poking me like that again, imma shoot it off!"
Steven's face turned red as he quickly covered his crotch area, realizing how inappropriate his body reacting to hers had been. He had never meant to make her uncomfortable. As Spinel walked off, he felt an overwhelming sense of guilt and shame.
Meanwhile, Spinel walked into the bathroom and closed the door behind her. She leaned against the wall, her heart racing. She had never been so before, and she didn't know how to handle it. Suddenly, she dropped to her knees, feeling as though the weight of her past was crushing her.
"Why... Why do I have to see so much of my you in him... Susan... Tch!" Spinel said with such anger. She stood up slowly, getting herself together, "Come on Spinel, don't let your past show like an idiot! Hm..." She thought to herself.
Moments later, Spinel finally comes out of the bathroom. "Alright, ready to get close again?" She asked. "What!? Why!?" Steven asked, worried why Spinel said that.
"This is for your makeover idiot, now shut up and keep your thing on a leash before I make you walk to school in a thong," Spinel said as she walked over to Steven, making Steven cover up his crotch, Spinel sat down on to Steven's lap, facing him once more.
"Now, stay still, if you behave, I'll be gentle"
Steven was taken aback when Spinel revealed something that left him speechless. He was left with little choice but to go along with it. Spinel then leaned in close to Steven's ear, as if to share a secret with him. The proximity of her voice sent a shiver down his spine, making him feel uneasy yet intrigued at the same time.
"Just know when it was my first time, it was painful, but you're a guy so you should be able to handle it for your first time" She whispered. "Now keep calm and close your eyes until I tell you to open them."
Steven's heart raced as he quickly shut his eyes, his other senses becoming sharply heightened. Spinel's voice broke the silence, counting down from three. "Three... Two... One..." Steven remained silent, his body tense as he braced himself for whatever was to come next. The anticipation was almost too much to bear, as he waited for the next move.
Spinel's voice suddenly cut through the silence, making Steven jump in surprise. "Done!" she exclaimed. Steven, unsure of what to expect, nervously closed his eyes as Spinel instructed. "Open them now and feel your ears," she said. Steven slowly opened his eyes and immediately noticed a strange sensation in his ears. As he reached up to touch them, he realized that they had been pierced. Shocked and confused, he looked at Spinel for an explanation.
"Steven was taken aback by the sudden realization that Spinel had pierced him. He couldn't believe that he didn't feel any pain. "Y-you pierced them!?" he exclaimed, completely baffled by the situation. Spinel, on the other hand, appeared calm and collected in her response. "Yes," she replied. "I figured that if I can get your heart racing up enough, it'll cause your adrenalines to get all uppity, which in turn will make you less susceptible to pain." Her explanation was both intriguing and unsettling, leaving Steven to wonder what other tricks Spinel had up her sleeve.
"Wait, so you—" Spinel interrupted Steven, "Getting in the horny made you feel nothing, you little pervert," she said with a mocking smile, embarrassing Steven even more. Spinel then grabbed Steven by his lower jaw and made him look up at her, seeing his red race.
She chuckled. "What a pervert!"
-Back To the Present Chapter-
As the boss continued to tease Steven, Spinel was left baffled and unsure of what was happening. Ame noticed the confusion on Spinel's face and spoke up in a worried tone, "Boss, are you teasing Steven?" The tension in the car was palpable.
"Of course, I would never use fear to manipulate someone. I am just using a tactic that was once used on me by Susan, albeit with a slightly different approach. Instead of using fear, I am using teasing to achieve my goal," Spinel explained, feeling a bit uneasy about mentioning Susan's name.
"Absolutely," Ame replied, trying her best to hide her amusement. "I understand your concerns, and I didn't want you to believe that you're becoming soft. But, hold on a second..." Ame suddenly stopped mid-sentence, causing Spinel to look up from her work, intrigued. "Boss," Ame continued, her tone now laced with curiosity. "Have you noticed the new hairstyle that Steven is sporting these days? It looks strikingly similar to the one your old crush had back in the day. It's quite interesting how hairstyles can come back in fashion, isn't it?”
Spinel, feeling uncomfortable, warned Ame that they were not comfortable with their past being brought up too often. They explained that there were only a few memories that they felt okay with discussing. Ame, who realized their mistake, apologized profusely to Spinel for any discomfort they may have caused.
'Ame couldn't help but ponder about the situation. As Susan's child, it was natural that the guy had caught Spinel's attention. But Ame couldn't help but wonder if Spinel was just using him for her own amusement or if something deeper was developing. Knowing Spinel's usual demeanor, Ame found it hard to believe that she was being genuinely friendly and nice towards him. The question lingered in Ame's mind - was Spinel truly softening up to him or was it just a facade to hurt him even more?
