Since when your own mother is supposed to kill you without remorse? Weren't they supposed to protect you and love you? Did i do something wrong?
That was what a little girl with just seven years thought while walking through a dark alley. At this point of her life, Sora didn't know how to continue, but after getting momentarily killed by her own mother and abandoned in a near forest and reviving a couple of hours after being dead, she decided to not look back to her old life and started thinking in how to survive without a roof or food.
Though she didn't know the dangers that the forest and streets could bring to her
Let's recap to the day she was diagnosed as "Quirkless"
Her mom was starting to worry for her little girl since she didn't seemed to have a Quirk yet, so she took her to the doctor to be a 100 percent sure. To the disgrace for both of them, the doc said that indeed, she didn't had a Quirk, so her mother just thanked the woman and took her by the arm, hurting the poor girl by her strength.
The girl didn't know that her life was about to change completely from that day.
Her father was just as happy as her wife, not really wanting to be related to a kid that was Quirkless, so after just a year of curses and shouting, he decided to leave them to get anotherfamily. And her mother? She did what every sane mother would do after getting abandoned by her own husband: drugs and more drugs, neglecting her little daughter and starting to hurt her in different ways.
Not enough money for her crack? The kid's fault, obviously. Sora was hungry? Not her problem, go buy some cocaine for her and quickly.
That went on for at least two years, but since she was doing awful at school because of her "responsibilities" at home, she couldn't really count. And after getting tricked by one of the guys that selled them the drugs and loosing all of the money that her mother gave her, the woman decided that she had enough with that little brat. So she decided to beat her to death and drown her until the life escaped from her body.
Without any remorse, she just took her by the arm and left her under a dry tree from the forest that was near them, immediately returning to her house to get high once again.
Luckily (or unluckily) for the little kid, her Quirk was hidden all this time, just showing once she was death and turning into a miracle (or maybe a curse), that later could help her to survive and get stronger to her safety.
"Where.." the little kid with sky blue hair whispered while opening her iridescent eyes, blurry vision from her tired eyes that were a little damaged from her own blood that entered while her mother was beating her up "..am I?"
With still blurry vision, she started to sit and tried to stand up, helping herself with the dry tree that was beside her. After several minutes of trying to rub the blurriness from her eyes, she could see as normal as before dying, starting to examinate her surroundings carefully and without making a sound. Her clothes where still a bit soaked with water, sending chills through her body, but oddly enough, she didn't feel any cold. She then started touching her body, noticing that his skin was very pale and cold as fuck. So at the very young age of 7 years, Sora realized that she was dead. Or at least, momentarily, since right now she had a heartbeat and could move and think without any problems.
She could feel tears form in her eyes, blurring her vision once again, but sobbing uncontrollably and sitting once again on the dirt. She knew what death meant, and she hated it, she just wanted to be a kid again, having her parents back and their arms around her, giving the warmth that now she lacked.
After several hours of crying and remembering memories, the sun started to show once again, turning the sky to some orange and soft blue tones. She watched how the sky turned different colors, getting slightly fascinated by it and forgetting just for some time why she was there.
Maybe dying and getting abandoned allowed her to discover new things about the world that her mother didn't allowed her to enjoy...
