Rewriting: Xros Wars: Crown Season 01 Episode 01
We see a guy in a basketball jersey and a pair of goggles on his head currently playing said game, he'd been cornered by the other team as he'd jumped acting as though he was going to try to shoot but instead had passed it to his unguarded teammate allowing them to shoot the ball into the hoop and score the winning point as the buzzer began to ring. The two teams had been good sports about who won and who lost before heading back towards their sides of the court and the guy with goggles was talking to the other guys on the team.
"Well, guess I did pretty good for a guy who only started learning like four days ago." He'd chuckled while the others gave him a strange look.
"Wait, I thought you had more experience than that." Another guy in the team uniform stated confused.
"Nope. I was ju..st.. hel..pin" The gogglehead began to say but began to fall forwards as a girl with red hair had barely managed to get in the way with a pillow in front of him as he faceplanted into it.
We then cut to sometime later on as the guy was drinking from a water bottle and had already changed out of the basketball uniform before letting out a relieved sigh stating "Thanks a lot Akari you really saved me there." before going back to sipping on the water bottle.
"Thanks nothing! Didn't I tell you to let me know when you join a new club Taiki?" The redheaded girl, Akari, stated back annoyed by this guy's antics and referring to him by his name. "You just agree to help anyone and then you forget everything else and work yourself into exhaustion! When will you learn?"
"Looks like I've found you, Taiki Kudo!" Someone spoke walking up holding some kendo sticks and having a sack tied around them on his back. "It's time for a duel, I'm Zenjiro Tsurugi! The strongest middle school swordsman in Koto."
"Uh.. no." Taiki answered back not wanting to deal with whatever.. that, was exactly. "Anyway I'm not into kendo I just helped out a classmate is all, you want a challenge find them."
Something strange happened while Akari began to argue with Zenjirou as Taiki had seemed to hear a voice saying they were.. dying? That was strange, and he needed to find out just what's going on there so he got up and began to follow the voice leaving Akari and Zenjirou confused as to just what's happening exactly.
As he was running to find the source of the voice all the electronics began going totally haywire and just completely nuts. Akari and Zenjirou had also taken notice of this and were both chasing after Taiki to see what was going on exactly. Meanwhile Taiki himself had found the source of the sound seeing a small and injured little black bird, only it didn't have feathers and looked more like.. rocks? Ya more like black rocks made up it's body.
"Who, or, what are you?" Taiki questioned the little creature confused going over to see if there was any way he could help out.
"Do you wish to save them?" A voice questioned as a strange light engulfed Taiki, alongside the bird and Akari and Zenjirou as well.
"I can't just let them die!" Taiki then called out to the strange voice angrily about whether or not to save this little creature.
The voice let out a bit of a laugh before a device appeared in front of Taiki with the voice then stating "Take hold and call out their name and you shall be granted the power to save them and many others as well."
"Taiki." Akari spoke cautious about how strange this all seemed to them and worried about what might happen.
"Be warned, this is not a task to be undertaken lightly. For once you do the fate of all will be in your hands." The voice then warned them about taking the device.
"I'm not sure this is a good idea, things are starting to go nuts already." Zenjirou stated seeing just how totally nuts this all had seemed.
"If.. if people need me, then I can't just walk away." Taiki spoke looking at the device and began to get a look of determination on his face before grabbing it and a name flashed into his head. "VORVOMON!" He'd then shouted out as the device resonated from Taiki's voice and changed colors to that of orange, red, and yellow.
The Device then sent out an energy from itself at the small creature as they began to grow larger as the light began to pull them all in deeper and the next thing anyone knows they were in a totally different place to what they were used to somehow. The voice had however laughed at them stating "Rough landing huh? Use the Sonic Loader, you can store, heal, and release Digimon with it. Welcome to the Digital World." before then fading to quiet confusing them.
"Digital World?" Akari questioned confused looking around and seeing a literal floating island in the sky with water flowing off of it in a couple of places.
"Digimon?" Zenjirou questioned looking around too and spotting a black dragon with yellow eyes and what looked like red flowing lava around it's body and backed up freaking out.
"Hey, I'm Vorvomon it's nice to meet you. Thanks for saving my life Taiki." The strange black dragon spoke moving it's wing as if waving hello to them and revealing that the little black bird Taiki saved was really a little black dragon.
"Whoa, are you a.. the voice called them Digimon right?" Taiki spoke trying to remember the right word to use there.
"Yup, I'm a Digimon alright." Vorvomon answered back telling them that he was indeed a Digimon "You're in the Digital World." He then added.
Suddenly a large group of Digimon appeared all looking different to one another and a massive humanoid lion with grey colored fur along with horns and arm spikes and a wild mane of almost black hair jumped down letting out a roar at them. "Humans, I hate humans. I will tear them all apart!" They'd roared out and was about to attack.
Suddenly a metal Digimon appeared calling out "Horn Breaker!" as they shoved the crazy lion Digimon away from the others while lifting up the humans onto his back.
"Nice one Ballistamon, now it's my turn." Vorvomon stated turning to face them and proceeds to call out "Petit Flame!" spewing out small high temperature flames at the Digimon that were attacking and causing the ones in the air to drop.
"Who says you get to have all the fun? Heavy Speaker!" Ballistamon called unleashing soundwaves from the speaker on his chest also taking down some of them.
"You'll pay for that!" The Lion called out angrily "I will not accept you Digimon who rely on the help of a human to become strong!" and another digimon slammed the ground making it crack open as the crazed lion began to approach Ballistamon and Vorvomon.
"I just saved Vorvomon and now you're gonna go and try to kill them again? I don't think so!" Taiki called out running from his hiding spot and remembered what the voice told them about the Sonic loader. "That's it! SONIC CHARGE!" He'd then called out pressing the button on the top of the Digivice and causing himself and the device to glow as the energy began to flow into the Sonic Loader and he'd turned with the screen blasting Vorvomon with the energy.
"VORVOMON DIGIVOLVE TO...!" The little black dragon digimon called out as they began to grow larger and the black stone of their body began to crack slightly as he grew larger and the arm part of his wings grew much larger with spikes jutting out from his bad with the tail becoming elongated and looking like flowing lava a bit before then returning to being stone at the tip and from the spikes soot and ashes were blown out like smoke and he'd roared out at the enemy Digimon before calling "LAVORVOMON!"
"What the?" The Lion Digimon questioned seeing that Vorvomon had actually been able to digivolve with the help of that human.
"Mad Leomon your rampage stops here, EARTH-STAMP!" Lavorvomon called out reading up on his legs before then falling forwards creating his own crack in the ground that the enemy digimon all fell into. "Now, take this! GREAT FLAME!" He'd then called creating the largest flame he could and launched it into crack with the lion, Mad Leomon, then being blown back as all the others that were there got blasted with the flames and broke down into what looked like dust but was actually packets of data that Lavorvomon absorbed leaving only a bunch of eggs in their place.
"You, YOU CAN'T JUST DEFEAT ME SO EASILY!" Mad Leomon called, however a crack appeared behind him and he was forcefully sucked into it being taken away before then closing up again and Lavorvomon became Vorvomon again.
"That was wild, no doubt about it, you're a Digidestined alright!" Vorvomon spoke flying over and landing next to Taiki.
"Digi.. Destined?" Taiki had questioned confused as to just what they were talking about since he'd never heard of it.
"They say Digidestined are humans who travel to the Digital World in order to help save it and all the Digimon found within as well by defeating a great evil of some kind." Ballistamon stated explaining it to them.
"The stories do get a little murky and most of the tale has been lost to time but it's said they have Digimon that they work together alongside and have the power to cause Digivolution." Vorvomon then added back. "So looks like you and I are partners, with your help I can become king."
"You want to become King of this.. Digital World?" Questioned our newest gogglehead hearing what Vorvomon said about that last part.
"Ya, I wanna become King so I can protect everyone I care about and create a world that can live in peace." Vorvomon explained about why he wanted to become king.
"Well then, count me in. Now, where do we go from here?" Taiki then stated saying they could count him in and began to look around as Akari sighed about him just agreeing without further questions.
