The summer breeze flows idly by. The plum blossoms float down onto the gathered crowd for the ceremony. The disciples of Mount Hua, the fish of Bikini Bottom, and the members of the Sonic crew. Today was the day. The day that Yoon Jung married Courage, the cowardly dog.
Jang Il-so stood at the front, as the one officiating this marriage (no one else volunteered). Jo Gul and Sonic’s kids were the lovely flower children, scattering plum blossoms all over the aisle.
Courage stood there, at the front of the aisle, shaking as he thought of his beloved, and the many trials he had seen him through.
The music began…
There he was. Crystal white gown, brilliant pink roses, diamond eyes… Yoon Jong… He stared back into the orbs of Courage, the very sight giving him peace. As he took the first step, the music began. It was a lovely rendition of shake it off, performed by Cheong Myeong on the kazoo.
With each step down the aisle, Joon Yung passed by his friends. Jo Gul, married happily to Sonic. Spongebob, with his lovely dog(?) Baek Cheon. And now Yoon Jong, with his true love, Courage.
Courage was doing his best to hold it together at the front, but even his eyes were leaking with tears of elation. It only took 2 minutes for Yoon Jong to walk down that aisle, but for Yoon Jong and Courage, it felt like eternity.
Finally, he was there, face to face with his love.
“Do you, Courage the cowardly dog, take Yoon Jong as your unlawfully wedded wusband?” Jang Il-so said, solemnly.
*bark* said Courage, filled with emotion.
“And do you, Yoon Jong of Mount Hua, take Courage as your lawfully wedded dog?”
Yoon Jong raised his head slightly, letting his veil-covered eyes meet Courage’s.
“...yes, I do.” He said, tears in his eyes as he smiled at Courage.
“Then, you may now kiss.”
Courage gently lifted Yoon Jong’s veil, and cupped his face in his paw.
*bark* Courage said softly, seductively.
“Hah, of course.” Yoon Jong smiled back, as he leaned into his paw and toward his face. Their lips met, in a gentle touch, akin to a plum blossom floating on the water.
Their brief moment of peace was interrupted by the cacophony of raucous cheers from everyone in the audience, plus a few barks from Baek Cheon too!
It seems another true love has decided to bless Mount Hua…
