Work Text:
Tsumugi stood in the warm bar room perplexed by the sight in front of her. Earlier that night her wife, Natsume, had gone to meet up with the other 4 eccentrics at the bar to have a drink. Tsumugi hadn't thought anything of it and told her to be safe and that she'd collect her later.
Now back in present time Tsumugi stood beholding the sight in front of her as her usually tsudere-like wife, who if they were outside of their apartment would not give her one ounce of affection (which Tsumugi didn't particularly mind) was now staring up at her snotty faced with tears in her eyes, clearly quite drunk.
"I LoVE YOU SO MUCH senPAI" she cried into Tsumugi's chest "PLEASE DONT EvER LEAVE mE WAHHH"
Tsumugi couldn't help but smile at her wife being so vulnerable. Tsumugi looked up at the other four eccentrics who had just been watching the situation unfold before them "Um~ How much has she drank~?" She asked almost sweating, worrying about how she'll be able to walk home with Natsume in this state and if she'll be able to cover the bill.
Before anyone could answer her question, a bartender came over and started clearing glasses and put down a bill on the table.
Tsumugi nearly fainted when she saw it, she swore she saw her soul leave her body for a second until she looked down again to her wife who was still cuddled into Tsumugi's chest with tears in her eyes and flushed cheeks that looks almost the same shade of red as her vibrant hair.
Tsumugi couldn't help with how much she loved this girl and Everytime she looked at her she felt her heart double in size with how much love she has for her. It was (unfortunately) because of this love she had for the redhead that she handed over her card to the bartender saying "I-I'll cover it..."
She sadly watched when she inserted her card, imagining all the different stuff she could have bought with the small fortune she just dropped to cover her wife's expenses.
After she felt her soul come back to her body she waved to the others goodbye and slowly guided Natsume out of the bar and into the fresh chilly evening air. Their apartment wasn't too far from the bar and Tsumugi hoped the fresh air from the walk will knock some sense into Natsume. "Thank yOU, onee-SAN." Natsume smiled at her taller wife, still very much intoxicated and not too sure what was coming out of her mouth right now. Tsumugi couldn't help but blush at her wife's sudden use of that nickname, which she had always been fond of. Natsume leaned against her wife for stability as they walked down the quiet streets. "I'd do it again for you anytime Natsume-chan" Tsumugi replied quietly, giving her a small smile.
Once they arrived back at their apartment, Natsume had immediately conked out onto their bed. Tsumugi sighed as she nudged over her still fully clothed and unbathed wife to make room for herself. Tsumugi lied down and turned off the light of their room. She turned over to look at Natsume. She had always thought she looked so pretty as she slept, with her beautiful porcelain skin and her messy red hair contrasting it. Her light pink lips slightly open letting out small quiet breaths. Tsumugi couldn't help but cuddle into her, smiling as she did so. "I love you too, Natsume-chan~!"
