Chapter Text
Jack is sitting at his pond messing around with the newfound power he has, he doesn't know how he gained it but it's still pretty- "SICK!!" Jack suddenly yelled after shapeshifting into a snow leopard. Jack used his ice and frost to make a glassy mirror so he could see himself (an idea from Jamie of course). jack sits down and shapeshifts back into himself and falls head hitting the ice. "OWW, that's.. enough.." Jack looks up to see the northern lights wondering how they are down in Burgess before he immediately cuts off his thoughts 'Why is their lights dow- OH!' Jack sits up and calls the wind to carry him off the North Pole

Tooth was already at the pole because she uses a calendar for meetings, E.Aster.Bunnymund used his tunnels to take shortcuts making it to the north's workshop within 15 minutes, poor Jack and Sandman to because they had to fly sadly making it in 30 minutes

Jack and Sandy walk into the meeting to see Bunnymund, tooth, and North sitting down. Jack brushes his hand through his hair accidentally clawing his scalp because he forgot he had leftover characteristics from things he shapeshifts into "ow.." Jack flinched 'Thankfully it was just the claws and not the tail' Jack chuckled to himself and held up his hand to see the claws but they were gone... He went to take a seat next to Bunnymund
"I beat you here mate, you gettin' old frost?" bunny started grinning
"Shut up kangaroo, you went through, I had to go around the world"
"Both of you hush we need to start the meeting!" North announced. "have any of you seen moving shadow? or anything that may show sign of Pitch?" everyone stayed silent or just shook their head "V'ell that's good"
somehow north and Bunny started arguing about whose season was better, but Jack started to feel his head hurt, and a cool wet substance on his forehead 'What the-?' Jack looked forward to seeing Tooth looking at him with a shocked and worried look. She let out a loud scream.
"TOOH VHAT'S WRONG!?" North and Bunnymund were pulled out of their argument to both look at Tooth, North turns his gaze to where Tooth is looking and it's at Jack "OH MY... JACK ARE VOU OKAY!?" Jack didn't realize it but the claws had been so sharp he cut his head and there was blood running onto his forehead, everyone was too distracted to notice how bad the blood was getting during their own arguments, too bad Tooth had to see it.
"is there something on my face?" Jack was severely confused and honestly wasn't sure he was even supposed to be bleeding after the guardians told him because he's a spirit.
*time skip five minutes*
Everyone was crowded around Jack including some elves. "well at least the bleeding stopped!" north said. When he saw Jack's head bleeding he immediately called the elves and Phil to the room "Gjskalkmwda!" Phil said in yeti, so unfortunately none of the other guardians besides North understood "Wow really..? what animal could have done it?" north went silent for a second while Phil said something, and North's voice boomed "A LEOPARD!?" North turned to look at jack
jack started sweating, or well felt like he was because of North's look, he didn't even know how to explain his shapeshifting abil- 'Oh sh-...'
"JACK MY BOY HOW DID A LEOPARD GET YOU?" yep. jack was sweating bullets somehow.
"North what are you talkin' about" Bunny piped in
"A LEOPARD HURT JACK!?" Tooth got closer to jacks face checking on him
"Shela calm down! Let North speak" Toothiana and Bunny turned to North
"Vight, Phil said jacks a' scratch v'is from Leopard claw!"
"How the bloody hell did a leopard-" Bunny said turning around to Jack but didn't see him "WHERE DID THAT BUGGER GO?"

jack was glad the guardians looked away so he could escape, but he had one problem, a big problem, Phil... the elves scrambled already.
Jack pointed to the wall looking straight at Phil, making Phil turn around to look where Jack was pointing, not seeing anything Phil turned back to Jack at the same time he heard Bunny talk and turn around too.
Jack wasn't there because he turned into a Black-capped chickadee and flew out the door without making any noise(when Jack turns into an animal it turns a blueish-white coat to follow the snow patterns of him normally, so he looks like an unusual bird)

'I can hear the guardians looking for me' Jack flew into North's office/study that was open 'This was a horrible idea' Jack went straight for the closed window not realizing he could see like a bird now and rams into the window *BONK* jack flew back onto the ground and turned back to normal keeping his wings and a few stray feathers. he heard footsteps coming out from the door and flew up into the shafts turning into an ermine
North walked in, sat down, and sighed.
jack didn't know why but he started to feel bad for running away, but unfortunately between his thoughts, he misplaced a foot- paw? step and slipped on the beam and fell onto North's desk
"WHA-? woah little guy" North picked him up with his big hands. "How did you get in here?" north noticed he was a weird shade of blueish white, and that he had frost ice running from his nose to his stomach. "Ja-" *CLANK* Jack's staff had fallen from the ceiling, which sealed the deal, this was definitely Jack. "Jack?" north put him back down on the desk. 'okay I guess I have to explain now' Jack thought as he changed back to normal.. minus the leftover animal features.
Jack fell backwards off the desk hitting his head and falling on the floor
"MY BOY! What is it with you and hitting your head?" North said while going to help Jack up, but he noticed something on Jack, small animal ears. "Da'? new addition to outfit?" North teased pointing at his ears and letting out a loud laugh "But how did this happen, Jack?"
jack gave a sheepish smile "I'm not sure why but I can shapeshift now"
"That is not something you gain random my boy! Have gotten stronger, no? "
"I have but what does that have to do with it?"
"maybe more believers you have, more powers you get? you are only now getting believers so it would make sense to come along now!"
"Yeah, that could be it! But wait would that mean I would get more abilities?"
"Let's not worry now. But I still want to know how leopard attacked your scalp!"
"oh well as you see things get left over from my transitions." Jack said while pointing at the short ears on his head 'Man in moon! I can hear almost as well as bunny with multiple ears' Jack thought "I was a leopard before I showed up and it kept the claws and I didn't realize so I went to scratch my scalp it cut it. I didn't even know I could still bleed.." jack mumbled the last part
"V'hat was that?"
"Nothing."
"Okay well, it's good you didn't get attacked!"
"Yeah"
"do you wish to tell the other guardians? maybe a surprise?"
"I like the surprise!"
"Okay, I'll keep quiet my boy!"
