Work Text:
Creativity slowly blinked his eyes open. He saw two people—no, wait, sides—a few feet away. One had a light blue top with a jacket wrapped around his shoulders, and the other wore a dark blue top and glasses.
"H-hello?" Creativity called out. The two sides turned to look at him. The one in light blue smiled.
"Hello!" he replied. "I'm Morality, and this-" he gestured to the other side in dark blue "-is Logic." Logic nodded.
"Oh, um, I'm Creativity."
"What? No, I'm Creativity!" a new voice exclaimed. Next to the first Creativity was another side, this one in a grass green top and light gray pants.
"Well, that is going to be extremely confusing," Logic stated. "Perhaps one of you should call yourself something different?"
"I'll be Chivalry!" the first Creativity--now known as Chivalry--exclaimed. Morality chuckled.
"Alright, kiddos. Let's get you two settled in."

As the days passed, Chivalry noticed that Morality was playing favorites. He was painfully aware of how much time Creativity, his self-proclaimed brother, spent with their father figure. And of how little time Morality spent with him.
And that was why Chivalry often found himself in Logic's room brainstorming, while Creativity and Morality played in the imagination.
Logic didn't mind the brave trait's company. He was actually fairly quiet and somehow managed to sit still. Logic also knew that by keeping Chivalry with him, there wouldn't be a mess downstairs when Morality and Creativity came back.
"Hey, Logic?" Chivalry asked one day. "Can I ask you something?"
"While you just did ask me a question," Logic replied, adjusting his glasses, "I understand what you mean. Yes, you may ask."
"What if I didn't call myself Chivalry?" Logic had to admit, he didn't see that question coming.
"If you are suggesting going back to being called Creativity, I do not believe that would be wise. We would not wish to confuse you with your brother."
"No, not that either. I was thinking.. Roman?" Chivalry looked shy, but also hopeful.
Logic thought. "If you are referring to the Roman empire, it certainly seems fitting. Its reign expanded across almost the entirety of Europe while it existed, and it was able to stay together for a very long time."
"Yeah! I want to build something just as amazing!"
Logic smiled faintly. "Very well then, I shall call you Roman."
“Prince Roman,” the one in red corrected.
“That is a step too far, but if you insist. My Prince.”
Roman squealed. This was going to be amazing!
