Joel was collecting materials and talking to himself, when he decended from the stairs he saw something that horrified him.
There were Etho statues in front of his base! He didn't build those!! At least he didn't think so, he thought they were kind of nice, cute.
Bit he didn't have time to awe over the build, he was quite busy. He did however, want to know who built the statues, because he was sure that he didn't at this point.
He turned on his communicator that was on his arm, and messaged Gem, the only other person who it could have been who built the statues. She came right over.
"I'M obsessed with Etho?!" Gem exclaimed, referring to the message Joel sent her.
"Well then who else built them?!" Joel said throwing his arms up in frustration.
"I have no Idea but...you're obsessed" Gem said, flying off with her elytra.
"Oh goodness gracious..." Joel muttered, going back up the stairs when he heard a ding, it was his postbox! His bad mood was immediately cured.
"Oooh! My first mail!" Joel said excitedly
He reached into the postbox and grabbed a book, from Etho?
Oh no.
Joel cleared his throat to read
"Dear Joel I just saw the statues at the front gate...IT WASNT ME EEFO!" Joel screamed, starting to get nervous, Joel continued to read, getting more and more flustered with every word written on the paper.
Joel decided that if Etho wanted them to be taken down, he would do so...
But not without a Smallishbeans twist.
Joel decided to re-build the Etho statues at Ethos base, genius.
Later...when the deed has been done, he got back to gathering resources when he senced someone behind him. The main man himself. Etho
Etho tapped Joel on the shoulder while he was listening to music, Etho wondered what playlist he was playing...anyways
"Blummin hell Eefo you scared the life put of me!" Joel said taking out his earbuds
"Huh I've been here for like 5 minutes I thought you were ignoring me"
Etho said hanging his head
"What no I would never ignore you!" Joel said in defence
"Because you're obsessed?" Etho said with a smirk
"Absolutely not" Joel said crossing his arms
"Sure" Etho said rolling his eyes
"So...let's be real...you built those statues of yourself huh?" Joel said with a huff
"...I saw you moved the statues..." Etho said, trying to change the subject whilst also hiding his giggle
"Did you build them?" Joel said stepping closer to the taller man
"Did I build them? That doesn't even make sense why would I build them?" Etho asked crossing his arms and looking down at the small man
"Oh uh I don't know...to mess with me?! Also I believe you built them so I returned them to you" Joel said with a huff
"That is an interesting theory...I will say, all this began with the 'Joel xo' thing at my base so" Etho said trying to contain his laughter
"The what...? Xo?" Joel asked, clearly confused with Ethos statement
"Somebody rearranged my shulker boxes and there was a sign is said something like...'Ehuwu' I think?" Etho said stepping closer to Joel
"I didn't do that I don't know what you're talking about" Joel said
"Yeahhh I figured out that someone else did it...I just thought at the time I would play into it, but you are still obsessed" Etho said scratching the back of his head
"Ha! I didn't do that, listen I know you think I'm obsessed with you...which I am....NOT! I'm not!" Joel said, catching himself, while also blushing in the process, Etho noticed and blushed as well, but tried to hide it, stepping closer to Joel he decided to tease him a little.
"Did you just confess your undying love for me Joel?" Etho said, nudging the smaller man
"N-no! Absolutely not!" Joel said waving his hands around frantically, hanging his head
Etho lifted Joel's head and gave him a wink
"Stop hiding from me Joel, we all know you're obsessed" Etho said, pulling his mask down
"Eefo what-" Joel stopped himself because he didn't want this moment to ever end
Etho leaned in just a little bit to kiss Joel.
And Joel filled the gap almost immediately
They stood there for a good couple seconds, enjoying every moment
After a few seconds longer Joel pulled away
"You're obsessed too?"
