Jeonghan woke up feeling so uncomfortable as he could feel something throbbing somewhere in his body, particularly somewhere in his mouth.
He's supposed to be sleeping up until 7am pero paano pa s'yang makakabalik sa pagkakatulog kung sobrang sakit ng ngipin n'ya.
He can remember brushing his teeth bago s'ya natulog, boyfriend n'ya pa ngang si Joshua ang nagbrush ng ngipin n'ya e.
“What the fuck! Awwww...” The sudden jolt of pain was all felt for a good 10 seconds. Yes, binilang n'ya. Trying to distract himself from the annoying pain. He tried to sit up para humanap ng mas komportableng pwesto but he wasn't able to do so as he felt Joshua's grip tighten around his body.
Tulog na tulog pa ito at naiinggit s'ya. As someone who loves sleeping, gusto na niyang mawala ang pananakit ng ngipin n'ya na sa lahat ng pagkakataon ay ngayon pa sumumpong.
Instead of removing Joshua's hand wrapping around his waist, isinubsob na lang n'ya ang ulo sa dibdib nito. Trying to seek comfort. It always works, always. Pero tila mas nangingibabaw talaga ang sakit ng ngipin n'ya.
He groans silently and unconsciously kicks his left foot. Wasn’t able to notice that he was already whimpering like a child. That wakes his sleeping boyfriend up and worriedly checks up on him.
“Baby? What’s wrong po?” Joshua carefully held Jeonghan’s head para iharap ito sa kanya. Mas lumala ang pag-aalala n’ya when he saw how there’s some unshed tears on Jeonghan’s eyes.
“May masakit ba? Please do tell me, baby. I’m worried,”
“My ipin, baby. Kasakit e.” Parang bata n’yang sumbong sa kasintahan.
“Do you want to rinse your mouth with ng water na may salt? Bangon ka muna dali.” Bumangon si Joshua and just when his about to help Jeonghan get up, nagtalukbong naman ito ng kumot.
“Baby, dali na.”
It took them around 5 minutes of pilitan bago n’ya napilit si Jeonghan na bumangon.
Jeonghan was sitting patiently on the countertop while Joshua prepare the salt water.
“Sorry for waking you up.” Mahing sabi nito. Joshua's attention that was once focus on boiling the water, was now on him. Kunot noong lumapit sa kanya ito baka s'ya kinintalan ng halik sa noo.
“Don't be sorry. Your toothache is out of your control naman, and besides, I tend to do the same naman, right? Whenever I feel something, my first instinct is to wake you up.” Malambing na ani ni Joshua. Jeonghan then feel less sulky.
Ilang araw na rin kaseng walang maayos na tulog si Joshua because of school works at ngayon lang s'ya ulit nakabawi.
Once done, Joshua help him rinse his mouth with the warm salt water. It always works with him. If hindi salt water ang remedyo n'ya sa sakit ng ngipin, ginagawa n'ya yung technique na ginagawa ng tatay n'ya dati.
Naglalagay ng gin sa bulak at pagkatapos ay ilalagay sa kung saan banda ang masakit.
“Better?” He nods at his boyfriend who's now wiping the side of his mouth.
“Hmmm. The pain lessen naman na. Thank you baby.”
“No worries. You want to sleep na ulit?”
Jeonghan shook his head, noticing that it's almost 6am. “Don't want na. Ikaw nalang, baby. You should sleep more. You're so puyat pa oh.” Pertaining to Joshua's evident eyebags.
“I don't I'll be able to sleep again. I'll cook breakfast nalang.”
“Me na magluluto. What do you want?” Jeonghan asked before standing up. Nasa kusina pa rin sila ngayon.
“You sure? You don't like moving around pag masakit ngipin mo, baby.”
“Thanks to you it's gone now. I can even eat chocolates right now—”
“Baby!”
Agad s'yang natawa sa reaksyon ni Joshua. Kunot na kunot ang noo nito sa kanya. Sino ba naman ang hindi maiinis (fondly) kung kakagaling lang sa sakit ng ngipin, tapos tsokolate agad ang balak kainin.
“I'm just kidding hahahah! I won't eat sweets muna for the meantime. I'll also drop by sa clinic ni Mama to have my teeth clean.” Joshua's mother is a dental hygienist kaya naman madali nang mag-walk-in.
Joshua looked at him knowingly. Madalas pa man din s'yang magpuslit ng mga chocolates. Pero medyo nadala s'ya ngayon so most probably, iiwas muna s'ya sa mga iyon.
“Promise hehe. I don't wanna wake you up ng ganito kaaga if ever sumakit na naman ngipin ko cause of eating lots of chocolates.” Joshua's eyes softened upon hearing that.
“I doesn't really matter po if gisingin mo ako ng maaga or anything. It's just that, I don't like seeing you in pain, baby.” Malambing nitong sambit which made Jeonghan smile.
“Of course, I know that po. Anyways, I'll prepare coffee na muna cause I badly need one.”
“Don't put too much sugar, okay?” Natatawang tumango si Jeonghan.
“Oo nga po.”
