Angel Dust, Vaggie, Husk, and Charlie all gathered around the set up board game, silently staring at one another waiting for the other to break the silence. Angel reached towards the money, eyeballing everyone.
He was so close..that is until Vaggie slapped away his hand.
"Apártate Angel!" Charlie read over the instructions again and again before finally understanding.
"Okay, so we're supposed to choose a piece to go around the board with. Uh..Husk, why don't you start?" Husk zoned out, so it took him a second to respond, and of course, ironically, he chose the top hat. "I'll take this one." Charlie nodded, "Great! How about you Angel?"
Angel looked over the pieces and chose the shoe, shrugging. "Reminds me of cherri bomb, I guess"
And finally, Charlie chose the cat and Vaggie let her pick hers, which ended up being the cannon.
Now that they were all ready, Charlie passed out the money and they started playing.
Husk immediately bought a hotel once he had the money.
Angel saved up his bills and tokens, managing to steal without Vaggir seeing. Speaking of Vaggie, whenever she landed on one of Charlie's hotels, she got a free pass.
It wasn't in the game rules, but whatever, right? Soon enough however, Husk's money started running out since he kept buying hotel after hotel, and no one landed on the property for a while. Until Angel dust did.
"Aw come on whiskers, I can give ya' a lap dance" Angel had the money to pay, sure, but he didn't want to..clearly. And why would he pass up an opportunity like this? Husk reached out his hand, "Pay up legs." Angel groaned but gave the money anyway.
"No fun Husky" further into the game, Vaggie started buying hotels and since she was a former exorcist, she has sneaky. Which ment she was snatching the big bills left and right without anyone noticing. Sooner or later however, Husk caught on and eyed the fallen angel until she reached in for another few and he stopped her. "Gotcha." Vaggie rolled her eyes and retracted her arm, looking back at Charlie who miraculously had doged everyone's property.
Not to mention the princess had a whole damn stack of money. And they all slowly started to notice. "Damn toots! When did ya' get that?" It looked like more money than the game even had, but a quick glance at the remaining money would pove she took quite a lot. "While Vaggie was giving you two the death stare, I took it opon myself to grab a few extra."
Vaggie snickered, "Hun, that's what you call a few?" Angel put it even simpler, him and Husk saying it at the same time. "That's basically all of it!" Husk quickly added a, "Jinx" with a smirk on his face. Charlie held back her laugh, the corner of her lips quirking up. "It's not that much!"
Charlie tried to hold back, but there was one string that broke the dam of her laughter from Alastor surprisingly. (When did he get there?) "Charlie, dear, you've taken it all." Angel even cracked a laugh, "Who knew the bubbly little princess of hell was this sneaky?" Angel looked over at Vaggie, who shrugged. "I had no idea she was that sneaky!"
Once Charlie was able to form an actual sentence beside wheezing every time she tried to speak. "Alastor! Do you want to play?"
Alastor actually seemed to think about it for a moment, then shook his head. "I have better things to do than spend my time on pointless games but you four have fun." And with that, he melted into his shadow thing and left. When the rest of them looked back however, it seemed like Charlie had gotten more, and it was clear with the grin on her face. "Charlie, again?!" Vaggie was the first to notice, followed by Husk "Damn Charlie!" Then Angel. "Why don't cha' take the whole game, toots? You're halfway there!"
"Yeah, I think we can call it off now babe, the winner is oretty clear." Despite them all knowing Charlie would win, they still counted up their money. In the end, Charlie ended up with 2,890, Vaggie ended up with 1,000, Angel ended up with 870, And Husk with 1,010. At the end of it, they were all tired out and retreated to their rooms at the end of the day, leaving the board game on the floor since no one wanted to actually pick it up.
They'd do that tomorrow.
