Draco never really knew what to do with his life then he met the most amazing beautiful perfect woman ever, Astoria Greengrass. His future wife, he always knew it would come to that with her.
His life was ever so brighter than he’d ever seen it. She somehow in a way that fooled his mind brought her sunshiny light everywhere. Her presence made him want to live, it made him want to do anything and everything to save her.
It had happened on a normal spring day in April, the 11th to be exact. Draco and Astoria had decided to have a picnic by the garden that day. The sun was shining in her beautiful face that Draco couldn’t help himself from staring at, at her eyes, her lips, her everything.
Then it happened. Her breathing became shallow and her skin turned as pale as Draco himself. She had told him it was maybe a small cold or a bug that would pass within a couple hours. If to her a couple hours mean a week in St Mungos then yes she would have been correct.
The hospital was as gray and cold as Draco remembered. Not even. Astorias light could break the dark cloud around that place.
“It will be okay, Draco. I’ll be out of here before we even realize,” Astoria teased as she gently reached for his cold hands.
“Please, Tori, I truly don’t find any of this funny. I’m really worried, and you’re lying there breathlessly joking about leaving,” Draco quickly said, slightly under his breath to avoid glances from the healers.
