Two blond siblings were sitting on two thrones, one was reading a book while the other was polishing their sword.
“Hey Lumine, Aether! I got a note from Barbatos!” Paimon yelled as she floated towards the twins
“What is the letter about?” Lumine asked, putting her sword down.
“Let's see…” Aether said, taking the letter from Paimon. “Come help, Davlin is sick and we need some help in case things get bad”
“So he needs help, I guess this could be a good chance to check on the others as well.”Lumine said looking over at her brother
“Say Lumine it would be your turn to go on an adventure, did you want to go? Dain can check up on you if you want?” Aether asked
“Sounds great! Paimon come with me, also Dain is more than welcome to catch up. I will send a sign when I am done in a region” Lumine said
Aether just shook his head as his sister walked off with Paimon. “I will tell Dain of the plan” Aether yelled to his sister as she just gave a thumbs up.
Soon Lumine and Paimon were standing near the edge of the whispering woods after using abyss magic to teleport out of the abyss.
“Now we have no clue where Barbatos is so let's go find Kaeya, he may know.” Lumine said as she started to walk towards Mondstadt.
“Can we stop to get food in town? Paimon is hungry”
“Sure Paimon”
“Yay!” Paimon said doing a somersault in the air
The pair walked threw the woods and ended up at the bridge to town
“Now Paimon remember to not mention anything about the abyss” Lumine whispers as Paimon nodded her head
The two walked across the bridge, scaring away some birds who upset a child. The pair ignored the child as they continued into town. The pair sat down at Good Hunter to have some food and figure out a plan.
“Now we half to find Kaeya and see if he knows anything” Lumine said as Paimon stuffed her face with food
Paimon just nodded her head. “Where would he be?” Paimon asked as she finally finished stuffing her face
“I am not sure.”Lumine said as she got up from her chair to go pay for the food
After Lumine paid they walked to fontian in the square to think on their next move.
“Where could Kaeya be, it's too early to be at a tavern” Lumine said looking at Paimon
“Why are you talking about the cavalry captain?” A young male asked as he walked towards the pair
“Oh well you see we are old friends of his and wanted to meet up!” Paimon saids scratching her head
“He didn’t mention that he would have friends visiting. What are your names?” the male asked
“This is Lumine and Paimon is Paimon”
“I can speak for myself Paimon, any ways do you know where he is? Also what is your name?” Lumine asked
“I am Thane and sure I can take you to him. Follow me” Thane replied as he started to walk towards the Knight of Favonius headquarters
The pair followed Thane as he silently walked, after a lot of stairs they finally reached headquarters. Standing outside was Kaeya who was talking to a girl who had cat ears.
“Thane, who is the girl Kaeya is talking to?” Lumine asked
“Oh that is my half-sister Amaura, she works in the Library” Thane replied
“Oh hello Thane what brings you back so early?” Kaeya asked before looking at Lumine “Oh, I see now hello Lumine and Paimon” he added
“Are they your friends Kaeya” Amaura asked as she flicked her tail excitedly
“Yes they are, now aren’t you going to find Diluc? Don’t worry I will cover for you with Lisa” Kaeya replied with a smile towards the cat girl
“Yes! Thane come with me!” Amaura said as she dragged her brother away
“Why was she so excited Kaeya?” Lumine asked as Kaeya led them to a more secluded spot to talk
“Oh, Diluc promised her some of the new Dandelion wine if she didn’t drink for a week.” Kaeya responds “Now you probably want to know more of what is going on? He adds
“ Yes Kaeya. I guess she really likes wine then?” Lumine asked
“That she does. For Davlin, he got into a fight and came back acting strange. Enough to wear he isn’t listening to anyone. Venti may know more. He probably is at the tavern getting drunk” Kaeya repiled
“Who is Venti” Paimon asks looking confused
“It is his name to walk around town. Just look for the drunk bard” Kaeya said before walking off
“Well at least we got some information. Lets go check Angel’s Shares because I think he was allergic to cats and Cat’s Tail as a lot of cats.” Lumine said before heading to the tavern.
“Wait for Paimon!” Paimon yelled as she floated following Lumine.
The two headed down to where Angel’s Shares, Lumine used a fake id to get in. Once inside the pair looked around there were only three people inside. One being the bartender.
“Welcome” Diluc says as he started to wipe down the bar
“Oh hi! You are the two my brother brought to see Kaeya!” Amaura said happily with a smile as she took a drink of wine.
“Yes we are, I am Lumine and this is Paimon” Lumine said pointing to her floating companion.
“Did you want a drink?” Diluc asked
“Something non alcoholic please” Lumine respond as she sat down beside Amaura at the bar
Diluc nods his head and begins to prepare the drink.
“Say Lumine, why did you want to talk to Kaeya? Was it about secret stuff that I know nothing about?” Amaura asked
Lumine just gave the girl a look “ Ahh…maybe? Anyways, did you know where I could find someone named Venti?” she replied looking a little confused
“Venti! He is beside you drunk!” Amarua said giggling
Lumine looked beside her to a passed out Venti.
“He is your drink Lumine” Diluc said as he placed a mocktail in front of her.
“Thank you” she said
Lumine then started to drink while Paimon got some grape juice to drink. Soon the door opened and in walked a female.
“Hello Lisa, here for Amarua?” Diluc asked as the girl in question tired to shrink in a ball
“Yes, my little kitty decided to drink earlier then normal” Lisa responded
“But…Diluc promised me a drink and I…I will come back” Amaura said defeated as she looked at her mentor
“Next time Diluc promise her with something else other than wine” Lisa said shaking her head as she escorted Amarua out with her tail between her legs
“I presume that you are part of some sort of one of the mafias? And that is why you want the drunk?” Diluc asked
“What would make you think that?” Paimon asked looking scared
“Prepahs, what is in it for you?” Lumine asked back
“I don’t care about the mafias as along Mondstadt is fine and they leave my winery alone.” Diluc replied as he started to rinse out some glasses
“What about the mafia”Venti asked as he lifted his head
“Oh, good you are awake, we came because you asked for help” Lumine said crossing her arms looking at the drunk wind spirit
“Which one are you again? I can’t remember” Venti said drunkenly
“I am Lumine” she responded shaking her head
“And Paimon is Paimon”
“Right!” Venti saids acting like he knew
“Okay where can we meet you when you are sober to talk?” Lumine asked
“The church! Tomorrow morning” Venti said with a smile
“Fine.” Lumine said before paying Diluc for the drinks and walking out.
“What are we going to do now?” Paimon asked
“Let's see if the Fatui has any intel. So let's go to the adventurers guild.”
Paimon nodded her head as the pair headed over to the Adventures Guild.
“Hello Katheryne, what is the latest going on in Mondstadt?” Lumine asked as she approached the adventures guild receptionist.
“Hello” said Katheryne before telling the pair some of the things going on in the city are surrounding areas, most were uninteresting so the pair eventually made their way around town looking at shops and other various things. Soon it was late and after stopping back at Good Hunter for supper.
“Where are we going to stay?” Paimon asked looking a little sleepy
“I do not know Paimon, there is a hotel maybe we can talk to the fatui to let us stay” Lumine replied before heading towards said hotel
Once they reached the hotel the pair was stopped by a Fatui guards
“Only members of the Fatui are allowed in” One guard said
“Tell Signora simply that the Abyss Princess is here and would like to talk” Lumine replied to the guard
The guard just nodded his head and went inside leaving the pair with the other guard. Soon after the guard came back and let them inside.
“Hello Lumine. I trust that you are here to help with Davlin?” Signora asked
“Yes we are, as well I hoped we could stay here the night? Barbatos is being a drunk pain again”
“Of course, we haven't been able to help much so I hope you can help him.”
“On another note how is the Fatui doing?”
“It is doing well, although recently the Tsartia had to kick out one of the harbingers for experimenting on humans”
“Which one was that?” Paimon asked
“Dottore” Signora replied
Paimon nodded her head. They talked for a bit before the pair headed to bed to get up in the morning.
