Work Text:
That look, that one right there. That’s Theo’s favorite look. Akk is staring at the screen on his camera and his brows are drawn inward while he decides if he likes the image or not. Based on his slight smile, the picture has gained approval. Akk sets the camera down and returns to his computer while he tracks the download progress. The sunlight from the window highlights his dark hair, and if Theo were a painter instead of a writer, he’d definitely paint a picture right now.
Akk is at his sexiest when concentrating on a task. He always gives it his complete focus and Theo loves watching him get lost in something he loves. A couple of soft clicks and Theo’s eyes zero in on Akk’s fingers. Oh, the things those fingers can do. The things they did do a couple of weeks ago. Has it really been two weeks since they’d last been intimate? No, he thinks back, it’s been three.
Three weeks.
Theo should really be concentrating on his book right now. His deadline is fast approaching and if he doesn’t meet it, his editor might very well castrate him on sight. However, despite that very real threat, Theo can’t bring himself to care right now. His brain would rather admire the way the sunlight is highlighting his boyfriend’s arms. During their final year of college, his Akk had turned into a gym junkie. For the last three years, he’s gone every day like clockwork, never missing a workout session even when his work schedule was crazy. Not like Theo is complaining. Having a boyfriend built like a stallion definitely works in his favor, both in bed and out of it.
Three weeks.
The download must be finished because Akk’s eyebrows are scrunched up again. Click, click . This time Akk is biting on his lower lip while he tries to choose between two pictures that look exactly the same to Theo. How Akk can tell the difference is a mystery.
Three weeks.
Theo gets up to stand behind Akk’s chair. Akk is so focused on the photos in front of him that he doesn’t notice Theo behind him right away. One small touch on his shoulder though and those beautiful eyes move from the screen and focus on Theo’s face. Before he can say anything, Theo spins his chair around and captures Akk’s lips in a kiss. It’s not a gentle kiss. It’s the kind of kiss that leaves your lips feeling bruised for hours afterwards. It’s a kiss mixed with a little bit of desperation.
Three weeks.
For two seconds, Akk stiffens in shock. Then his body relaxes and he’s giving in to Theo’s will like he always does. For a few minutes they get lost in the kiss, just enjoying the feel of lips on lips and tongues battling for dominance. One little bite to his bottom lip and Theo is swallowing Akk’s moan. His baby likes being bitten. One lick to his lip to soothe the sting and Theo is dragging his boyfriend to the bedroom.
Three weeks.
The sound of skin slapping against skin mixes with the sound of the headboard banging against the wall of their little apartment. Normally, they’re not so loud in bed, but today is different.
It’s been three fucking weeks.
And the whole time, Akk’s eyes are locked right on Theo. His focus never wavers. Neither does Theo’s. He wants to see it. He wants to see the look in Akk’s eyes when the orgasm hits, then he and Theo will fall over that cliff together. Always together.
“Fuck, Theo, I…” is the last thing he hears before oblivion hits.
Three weeks.
Once their breathing begins to slow, Akk softly kisses his head, gets out of bed and walks toward the bathroom. Along the way, the sunlight highlights all of the scratches and bite marks on his body. Oops. Theo hadn’t meant to be that rough.
When Akk returns to bed, Theo kisses a deep bite mark on his shoulder. “I’m sorry for this. I didn’t realize I was being so rough.”
Akk just laughs and plants a noisy and dramatic kiss on his cheek. “I know I’ve left some bruises on your soft, beautiful skin, so I think we can call it even.”
One more dramatic kiss on the cheek, then Akk curls around him, making sure they’re skin to skin again. Books and photos are forgotten as they spend the rest of the day in bed.
Three weeks had been far too long.
