Summary:
The modest life of a florist never stopped Xie Lian from taking in stray animals he came across in the street, much to the dismay of his roommate Mu Qing and the amusement of their friend Feng Xin. A habit like this is bound to result in chance encounters, whether it be a white cat, an excitable pit bull by the name of Eming, or a man dressed impeccably in red.

Chapter 1: Sweet Child O' Mine
Summary:
On his way home from work, Xie Lian finds a bedraggled cat in an alleyway and decides to take it home. His roommate Mu Qing is less than enthused, but the florist insists that he can cover the expenses.
