Working at the Rosē Casino was pretty mediocre, wasn't good, wasn't bad,just in the middle.
She didn't mind the Drunkards, unless they tried to touch her inappropriately of course.
She didn't mind the gamblers, because it's rather amusing to watch them rage at their losses.
She doesn't mind the strange stares she gets cause of her skin color.
She even didn't mind when angry gamblers went up to the bar,where she worked,with an attitude because they obviously lost their money.
But what she didn't like were the patrons that walked into the Casino,angry for no reason at all,taking their anger out on the innocent employees,these type of customers seem to have a nonsensical grudge on every worker in the Casino-especially herself and the two dealers,Lux and Yelena.
She also didn't like her older sister, Shinigami-who always seemed to be there just to bother her while she worked.
Like right now! Shinigami is floating lazily, poking at the rather impassive bartender in the cheek while she was pouring a customer a Pina Colada.
"Here you go,enjoy.."
The younger says in her monotonous voice,forcing up a faint smile as the gambler walks away while sipping on the fruity drink.
"Kuroko-Chan~"
"What must be so important you interrupt me whilst I'm working,Onee-sama?"
"Aww you called my Onee-Sama! Just like Kuroo does,how cute!"
"Mhm,hurry up and answer the very simple question....unless you're idiotic enough to not know how to answer,which seems quite like you."
"Waaa! How rude of you,Koko-chan :'c"
Kuroko sighs while cleaning her shaker,waiting for the next customer to come to the bar as she listens to the jazz music that was mixed in with the sounds of the casino machines as the many patrons gambled away their expenses.
"Okay,I just wanted to see what you were doing! Work must be pretty boring you know"
"...."
"Okayyy I was bored."
"......"
There was a smug grin resting on the cherry coloured lips of the stoic girl's,one that the elder smiled softly too-as it's rather rare to see on the monotonous lady's blank grey face.
"Ah Koko your smile is as beautiful as the star filled nights of this elegance of a planet and it fills my heart to see you grin from my cause."
The younger turns her head away but not before Shinigami notices the red blush faintly present on the bartender's cheeks and the tips of her elfish ears.
"there is no reason to have complimented me,so save it for one of your partners."
"How wrong you are,my dear! My beautiful lovers get enough compliments from me and I don't believe you get alot of praises often,correct?"
Shinigami grins as her younger sister stayed silent,the tips of the bartender's pointy ears turning an even dark red,blending beautifully with her grey skin,Kuroko huffs while looking away from the elder,who was twirls one of her curly strands of her midnight colored hair.
"Silence."
Kuroko mumbles just as another customer walks up to the mahogany bar. "Hello Sir What is it that you'd like to order today?" The patron asks for a simple beer and she pours it quickly,handing it to the gambler-who thanks her and left seemingly in a hurry to go back to gambling and losing all his money.
After a few minutes of silence with Shinigami watching Kuroko as she rests in the air,the elder demon speaks up.
"Dear sister...my lovers call for me,but I'll back home,since your almost done with your job-correct?"
"Correct."
The younger says simply while glancing at the overflowing tip jar,there were quite a lot of aggressive patrons today before Shinigami had arrived....hmm....
Just like Shinigami had said,she vanished out of sight,leaving the younger while she was cleaning her shaker out to get ready to leave.
And just like what was said before-the last gambler left, leaving all the workers and the boss alone in the spacious and elegant casino.
"Yelena,Lux come over here please." The duo walks over to the bar.
"Yes?"
"Yo."
The older one(in this case Kuroko) fishes out quite a lot of yen from the fancy glass tip jar, handing them to the two dealers as compensation for the aggressive gamblers they had to deal with.
"Ohh! Thank you Lady Kuroko!"
Yelena says happily while tucking the dollar bill into her tuxedo jacket pocket.
"Thanks Ms Rosalynia."
Lux agrees,placing the money in his pants pocket.
"No problem."
Lux and Yelena thank her again,waving while they leave through the big glass door as the other employees left the Rosē Casino one by one, till the only ones left were Kuroko and Her boss-Mr Hiyaken,who walks over to the bar and stood in front of it.
"Good afternoon Mister Hiyaken,would you like your usual?"
The man chuckles. "That would be nice my dear,thank you."
Hiyaken sits down on the bar stool as Kuroko gets to making the drink and not for long, the young lady is finished,handing him a simple Daiquiri before she finally started cleaning up.
"Ahh thank you,Rosalynia" the boss says while lifting up the glass to his lips,taking a long sip .
The silence was comforting as Kuroko cleans up and put glasses away while the younger tidied up Hiyaken left the Rosē Casino,leaving some yen on the bar for the young girl.
Kuroko completes the cleaning after a few minutes,finally noticing the money residing on the mahogany colored bar. "Ah..thank you Boss." She murmurs while picking up her purse as she prepares to leave the Casino.

She returns to the large penthouse; accidentally bumping into Tsubaki Katura,one of three Shinigami partners, while moving over to the snack bar to get a cup of green tea;maybe even a small cake if they were hungry enough to not wait for dinner.
"Ah sorry,Madame Tsubaki;I must've not been paying attention that well."
Tsubaki's cow tail sways back and forth excitedly,the elder woman(Tsubaki)giggling childishly while fanning herself with her light pink shan,matching her hanfu.
"No problem Lady Kuroko!" The cow hybrid waved her hand dismissively,her ears fluttering as she picked up a chocolate bar-unwrapped it and took a bite, covering her mouth with her sleeve as she chews silently.
"Hmm." The stoic lady grabbed a plate and put some macarons on it,moving to a table as Tsubaki walks away,her geta sandals clicking against the honey colored floor.
"See you soon!"
"Bye."
She sighs and picks up a small cup of tea(when did she get that?),breathing on it to cool it down,taking a small sip before biting into a lemon macaroon.
After she finishes eating her small snack, Kuroko grabs the paper plate and throughs it in the trash bin.leaving to her own room the sat right next to Serafina's-who was probably finishing up her job as a nurse right about this time,So they could probably hang out with the young lady.
She changes into a dark red yukata and opens her sliding door that lead into the large garden,moving the sit on the veranda to watch the sky as the blue faded into pinks,purples.Sitting on the wooden Lanai in silence before Kuroko hears a faint knock hit their door.
"Come in,Serafina!"
They shout before Sera peeks her head in and opens the wooden door,moving inside with quiet steps while shutting the door.
"May I sit with you?"
"Of course."
The nurse sits down,looking at the demon before turning her head away quickly.
"Ask your question,young mortal."
(Even if it doesn't seem like an affectionate term take it as one)
"Eh!?"
"You've been staring at me for a while,you know."
"Oh.."
"Now what is it that you need to ask me."
".... nevermind."
The elder huffs irritably,placing her hands in her lap..they sit in a soothing silence,watching the moon rise from it's slumber and into the dark sky,for a while before Serafina stands up.
"I have to go now,see you tomorrow!"
The young nurse starts to walk away,her sandals gently pattering against the wooden floor.
"Young mortal."
"Hm?"
"Your Japanese is getting better."
Even if Kuroko couldn't see the Serafina's face they could tell she liked the compliment as she perked up.
"Thank you!"
"You're welcome."
"Goodnight!"
"Night."
She turned her head back to the garden,the harsh wind blowing through her long hair as she sat on the veranda;their piercing red eyes gazing at the bright moon.
The moon is bright and gorgeous,contrasting beautifully against the dark star covered sky.
