Hermione flooed into Luna’s flat. “We need to check on Fleur.”
“What?” Luna’s head popped up. “Why?”
“Bill just arrived at the Burrow saying they are finished.” Hermione sighed. “She didn’t deserve him.”
“No, she didn’t.” Luna stood up. “Shell Cottage?”
“Yes, I did hear that he let her have the place.” Hermione looped their arms together and apparated them to the front door.
“FLEUR!”
Luna and Hermione pounded on the door.
“Go away!” Fleur cried out in anguish.
“No, we are your friends, and we want to help you.” Luna reminded her. “Please.”
Fleur threw the door open and fell into their arms, sobbing. “I can’t believe he would cheat on me.”
Hermione and Luna gasped.
“Why? You are the most beautiful witch here.” Hermione whispered.
“Non, I’m not. If I were, he wouldn’t have slept with that Brown witch.” Fleur lamented.
Hermione snorted. “Sorry, but she must have wanted to slag a different Weasley.”
“Oh, that’s right, she did date Ron, didn’t she?” Luna nodded.
“That boy that couldn’t talk to me properly?” Fleur scrunched up her face.
The other two giggled. “Exactly.”
“Let’s go in, and we’ll make you some tea.’ Hermione guided Fleur back into the cottage.
“Yes, I’ll check the garden for making a salad.” Luna skipped off in the other direction.
Fleur was just grateful for the company and let them comfort her.
