Chapter Text
Sakusa swore he had seen stars at that moment. The sensation of good sex was always ecstatic for him—even though he only discovered that he really liked sexual relations after becoming an adult and entering college. Sex always seemed a bit disgusting to him—and Sakusa didn't deal very well with... well, with disgusting things.
On his first time, he remembered taking five showers in a row. It might have been more, six or seven, if he hadn't felt so tired, which made him fall asleep with wet hair and catch a cold the next day. He almost considered never having sex again, but curiosity brought him a second, third time, and then gradually, Sakusa accepted that he enjoyed it.
Currently, he could have sex and just take one shower right after. A long shower, though, full of special antibacterial soaps and tutti-frutti scented shampoo that he had received from his cousin, Motoya. Of course, he was also selective with his partners, since, even though he was getting used to intimate contact with other people, he still felt somewhat uneasy.
Furthermore, having sex meant touching other human beings. Like, skin to skin, sweat to sweat, sharing trillions of bacteria. Ugh, Sakusa shuddered at the thought.
He was only thinking about this because sex had already become part of his everyday life, and, to Motoya's surprise, Sakusa had an active sex life.
The problem was that, at that moment, he was in bed with Miya Atsumu after—it hurted to admit—an extremely pleasurable night.
Not that there was a problem with Atsumu—at least not in the sense that bothered Sakusa. Atsumu had well-hydrated hair, which indicated he took good care of it, even with the ridiculous bleaching; his body smelled good; he didn't have bad breath, and also, Sakusa had seen him using hand sanitizer the other day before grabbing food at the cafeteria.
And, of course, Atsumu was attractive. Only positive points.
So what was the real problem?
"What are ya thinking, Omi-kun?" Atsumu suddenly asked, his head resting on his hand.
He smiled widely, as he always did when he wanted to annoy Sakusa.
Oh, that was one of the problems. Not just the infernal smile that Sakusa hated, but Atsumu himself.
Atsumu, who was naked beside Sakusa, covered by the thin sheet. His defined chest could be seen an Sakusa hated himself for finding that attractive.
"I've asked you not to call me that," Sakusa murmured and got up.
Atsumu laughed. He had never been intimidated by Sakusa's tone.
"It seems like ya're in another world." Atsumu flopped back on the double bed, belly up. His outstretched arms occupied as much space as they could. "Is having sex with me so good that it left ya spaced out?"
Sakusa looked back, his eyes narrowed. He stared at Atsumu's carefree smile.
How did he let that happen? He wondered with a sigh.
"Keep it up, and we'll never do this again."
Sakusa went to his wardrobe to grab a towel and clean clothes. He refused to smell like sex for too long. His skin was already starting to itch, as if he were allergic.
"Omi-kun... Why are ya so mean to me?" Atsumu asked. "Don't forget we're going on a date together in the future. Ya need to treat me well"
Ah, Sakusa thought. Yes. This was the problem.
The problem, Sakusa repeated in his mind for the millionth time, was that Atsumu was the opposite of Sakusa.
Atsumu was popular, one of those people who was greeted by everyone in the hallway. He was also an athlete and part of the university volleyball team, which was the only sport that university excelled at, although the dean had tried to invest in other activities over the years. They had even been national champions of the university games for two consecutive years, which boosted Atsumu's popularity even more. Everyone knew him. Students from all courses, professors, the cleaning staff, and the guards.
And from what Sakusa had seen in Atsumu, he had already concluded that his personality was awful. The worst of all. Detestable. He was extremely spoiled, made a fuss about everything, and complained more than a child. He could annoy Sakusa in every possible way, and with just one interaction, drain all his energy—and not in a good way.
This is why he could not understand that people not only knew Atsumu but also, somehow, liked him.
Atsumu was definitely not the type of guy Sakusa would go for.
Sakusa was reserved, liked to stay home on weekends, and preferred the company of his cat over humans. He also wasn't the type to stay with the same person more than once because, well, maybe—and only maybe—he had some commitment issues.
So why the hell was Miya Atsumu lying naked in his bed at that moment?
And why had Sakusa let this happen more than six times?
"Silence gives consent. Dinner tomorrow night, then?"
Sakusa laughed, not because he found it funny, but because he thought the idea was ridiculous.
"In your dreams," he said. "Now get up. Leave."
"I'm tired. Ya've drained all my energy."
Sakusa rolled his eyes.
"Leave, Miya."
"That's mean, Omi-omi! Ya only want me for my body!"
"Go. Now."
"Only if ya go on a date with me."
Sakusa took a deep breath.
"I was serious when I said we'd never do this again."
Atsumu didn't question further, although there was a childish pout on his lips. He got up, causing the white sheet covering him to fall. Sakusa had to make an effort not to look and, to avoid the risk, quickly left the room.
"Where are ya going?" Atsumu asked.
"To take a shower," Sakusa replied from the bathroom.
Miya started to complain again.
"Aren't ya tired? Don't ya want to sleep?" Atsumu questioned.
Sakusa could hear footsteps approaching, and as a precaution, he closed the bathroom door.
"Are ya a robot or something?" asked Atsumu.
"I'm only coming back to this bed after taking a shower. And changing the sheets. And cleaning the room."
"Omi-kun..." Miya said, this time changing his tone. The bathroom door opened. Sakusa had forgotten to lock it. He already knew a tease was coming, in one, two, three... "So, does that mean we'll take a shower and then lie down together right after? Have ya decided to stop treating me like a piece of shit and are trying to be romantic?"
Sakusa was sure he hadn't said anything like that. He didn't answer, just pushed the door hard and heard a grunt.
Whether he hit Atsumu with the door or not didn't matter.
It was just another normal day.
