BEEP BEEP BEEP
It was an early morning, the sun had barely arisen and the traffic hadn't started yet. The bedroom was still dark with a little bit of light from the outside.Normally the couple was used to waking up early but today just seemed slower and lazier than other days, it felt unusual but relaxing. While both Akihiro and Douru started work early, only one had the misfortune of waking up to the persistent alarm.
BEEP BEEP BE-
Douru's elegant wings uncovered his eyes, he reached over and shut off the alarm, resisting the urge to throw it out the window. He sat up ,his wings fluttering as his arms extended out. Douru's gaze lowered ,as he felt something cling to his leg. A small smile came across his face as he saw Akihiro lazily open his eyes and use his thigh as a pillow, Douru gently nudged his cheek.
He was planning to convince Akihiro that it was too early to be awake so Akihiro would keep him in bed, it was a solid plan to take advantage of his tendency of wanting Dorou to get a healthy amount of sleep. (Plus, later he wanted to tease Akihiro about making him late for work.)
Akihiro spoke up in his raspy morning voice, "Mn, Darling.. why are you awake? Is it already time to get up?"
"No no, it's only a little bit after three. My back just felt a bit stiff, we should go back to sleep."
"eh? but it's a bit bright out, are you sure you didn't read the clock wrong?"
"Mhm, I'm sure. I don't need to give that loud ass alarm more than a glance."
Douru slipped back under the covers and let Akihiro wrap all four arms around him, clinging to him as if he was a teddy bear. When Douru rested his head on his shoulder, Akihiro snuck a glance at the alarm clock and squinted his eyes.
5:38am
Akihiro shook his head and used his upper arm to tug on Douru's wing a little, "You feathered fraud, I'm not gonna be blamed for your scandals".
"Just this once? I don't wanna go to wooorrkk. My Pudding, can't we take an off-day? We'll have a three day weekend."
"You shouldn't use your off-days because you're lazily, it'll turn into a bad habit."
"Aki-rooo, just this once?"
