Where Dreams End

Summary:

What do you do when you realize you're dreaming? What would you do if you found you couldn't escape your new dream world?
14 year old Kaya Suzuki is going to be figuring that out. Upon the realization of the strange circumstances she finds herself in, Kaya comes to notice that her world is in fact not her world at all, and she's simply stuck in a dream. When she realizes this however, the figments of her dreaming mind begin to attack, and she's left to fend for herself against them as she's hunted. Stuck against her will, unable to return home.
Will she find her way out and back home? Will she learn why she's being targeted over something as simple as lucid dreaming?
Perhaps she shouldn't have gone to sleep in the first place...

Where Dreams End is a project I started developing in mid 2022! It was originally intended for just me and my friends, but since then, I've come to love these characters and the story I've begun to write them, so I hope that maybe, by sharing it with other people, I can bring the joy I feel to you all as well!

How do you know if you're dreaming? Then what do you do when you realize?

  Well, I'm sure this question is answered differently by everyone, but for me it was just a moment where it just.. clicked. The world was too bright, things were going too well, and the people, well they were just a little too… nice.

  As for what you do when you realize? Well, the answer to that is certainly not what I did.I

   I'm Kaya Suzuki, what you're about to read is my experience in a dream, more specifically what happened when I 'became aware' and made a mistake.
