Aldwin and Gete

Historian, scientist, healer, operative, diplomat… More than most Tok'ra, Aldwin has had a variety of jobs, past and present.

Gete was a nobleman, leader of his city. Put in arranged marriage that he had no interest in, he instead developed a relationship with his brother-in-law, Tovol.

Gete and Aldwin both like sweets, and they are generally less serious than other Tok’ra. They enjoy Star Trek, particularly Dax from DS9, and attempt to get other Tok’ra to watch.

Anise and Freya

Scientists. They tend to get a little too invested in their projects.

They married the Tau’ri, Daniel Jackson. The three of them can talk and debate for hours about different cultures and languages, often learning from each other.

Anise is batch mates (or clutch mates if you prefer) with Malek.

Cordesh and Nelay’an

Yep. These two.

Cordesh was born a leader, helping with the early foundations of the Tok’ra. He and his batch mates were particularly close, and he watched them dwindle over the centuries.

Nelay’an joined the Tok’ra to escape his planet.

(The host was later given the name Firnan, but since I was already writing about him, I am sticking with Nelay'an.)

Cordesh and Glebu

Cordesh wasn’t quiiiiite as dead as everyone thought.

Delek and Tian “Toma”

High Councilors.

Tian is an artist. He keeps his true name safely guarded, so goes by “Toma.” Tian’s family was killed by Jaffa, something that he keeps guarded from even other Tok’ra.

Delek is very cautious around the newly formed Jaffa Nation as a result. Delek, himself, is bitter towards Earth humans, knowing they did nothing whenever his brethren died on their planet.

Egeria

The Tok’ra queen. She gave birth to the Tok'ra, the resistance against the Goa'uld. She loved her children, and they still love and mourn her.

Garshaw and Yosuuf

Grand Councilors, second in command of the Tok’ra.

Yosuuf was a wife and mother before joining the Tok’ra. She still visits her grandchildren. They help maintain an alliance between the Tok’ra and Yosuuf’s people.

Iasis and Malika

Iasis is a queen symbiote. Sam Carter rescued her from a Goa’uld, then adopted her.

Sam later gave birth to Malika, and the young larva proudly took on the role of older sister.

They were raised with loving care and chose to blend together.

Jalen and Neith

Jalen is batch mates with Lantash and Kela’an.

Jarvo and Korra

They switch between being operatives, security guards, or bodyguards.

Korra is usually the one in control.

Look! It’s Jolinar and Rosha!

Born in a strict community, Rosha wanted more in life. Straight up asking to join the Tok’ra would have humiliated her family, but she found a way.

Jolinar was born to be a leader, but like Rosha, she wanted more than what she was destined to be. In her heart, she was truly an explorer. She used her skills to make many allies for the Tok’ra.

Jolinar’s Nasyan host. He lasted for about a whole…six months as a host.

Jolinar and Samantha “Sam” Carter

After Jolinar’s death, Sam had access to her memories. This lead to a meeting and then an alliance between the Tok’ra and the Tau’ri.

Kela’an and Drack

Communications Officers.

Mates to Anise and Freya. The relationship ended upon Drack’s death. Kela’an encouraged Anise and Freya to move on with Daniel.

Kela’an and Samantha “Sam” Carter

Having burns herself, Sam chose to blend with Kela’an.

They are mothers to Iasis and Malika. Since Sam was already pregnant when they blended, Kela’an’s memories did not pass to Malika.

Kelmaa and Eir

Healers.

(Kelmaa is the first symbiote to look like she’s going “eh.”)

Kilso

A Tok’ra healer. He took over as the head healer after Kelmaa died.

Lantash and Setta

They fell in love with Jolinar and Rosha, or rather, Rosha had the hots for Lantash, then Setta. This would have lead to a beautiful marriage, but unfortunately, Setta was killed.

Setta was one of only a few female hosts that Lantash has had.

Lantash and Martouf

Operatives. Security. Diplomats.

They were mates to Jolinar and Rosha. They were first interested in Sam because she was Jolinar’s host, then fell in love with her. They are fathers to Iasis and Malika. Lantash, in particular, is very protective of his daughters.

Malek and Amb

Outpost Commanders and Scientists.

Amb is shy so retreats around new people.

Malek is very serious and extremely protective of his loved ones, but he can have fun too.

They married Aldwin and Gete, and the four of them were very closely involved in raising Iasis and Malika.

Mian and Jorda

Jorda is from the same planet, Kiron, as Martouf, and she’s one of four survivors of a massacre.

Norak and Pekon 

Pekon is another Kiron survivor. He started a relationship with Jorda, and therefore Mian, after they joined the Tok’ra.

Ocker and Jin

Per’sus’ personal body guards.

Jin died protecting him and Einar. Ocker is batch mates with Delek. Because the two were the last of their batch, they became very close.

After losing Jin, Ocker transferred and became Chief of Security at the Risa Base. Their deaths reinforced Delek’s anger towards Earth humans.

Pel and Liandra

Liandra was on the High Council with her beloved symbiote, Jaydin. After Jaydin was murdered, she re-blended with Pel. Liandra was given the opportunity to rejoin the council, but she refused. She took to Pel’s job, being in security and sometimes bodyguard, instead. Eventually, they became mates with Iasis and Malika.

Per’sus and Einar

Grand High Councilors.

Per’sus was batch mates with Jaydin and Cordesh. He was also Egeria’s mate for over nine centuries.

Einar had a 131 years romance with Cordesh and Nelay’an. Per’sus, having never gotten over the loss of Egeria, never got involved.

Relek and Tur

Tur was a distant cousin of Martouf, one of four survivors when their people were massacred. He immediately fell for Saroosh and Selmak, even before blending with Relek.

Ren’al and Septima

Scientists. They were married to Ocker and good friends with Delek. Ren’al is the symbiote.

Selmak and Saroosh

High Councilors. They were married to Tur and Relek. Unfortunately, their mates couldn’t be there when Saroosh died, a few days before she turned 203.

Selmak and Jacob

Space Dad! And Selmak. Aside from being leaders, they also work as operatives.

Selmak’s previous marriage ended upon blending with Jacob. Tur and Relek still loved her, and she loved them, but neither Tur or Jacob had any interest in dating another man.

Jacob is Sam’s dad. Selmak feels like Sam is her daughter, but she accepts that Sam doesn’t feel the same way.

Security Guards. They were dating Aldwin and Gete. They asked to go up on the surface, soon after meeting the Tau’ri, then were never seen again.

✦ Hrafn and other young people adjust better than many of the adults. The new settlement often found themselves being the ones invaded. Instead of becoming a raider, Hrafn becomes a defender.

✦ Hrafn marries Rósa. They have seven children. (Years 768 - 781)

✦ He helps his older sister’s, Ásta, dream to find the “defenders of the sky.” It leads to many arguments with Rósa. Eventually he leaves the planet. They are lost for over two years, making a living by fighting and defending. Eventually, they’re discovered by the Tok’ra. Hrafn doesn’t hesitate to blend. (Years 790 - 792)

When Archard realizes he’s dying, he makes friends with another prisoner, Raven, encouraging him to host Lantash. Raven agrees. (Year 1611)

✦ Lantash attempts to renew his relationship with Norak and Valak, but Javari is too angry about Archard’s fate. Realizing that he is only hurting his husband, Lantash officially leaves the marriage.

Son of a merchant, Faisal had one brother and three sisters. As a child, he and his older brother, Saad, were offered as tribute to the Goa’uld, Nefertum.

They were educated to be scribes by an old slave, Nagi, who also secretly taught them that the Goa’uld were false gods. Saad betrayed their teacher, and Nagi was publicly executed. Saad disappeared afterwards.

Because of his youth, Faisal, was sheltered as much as possible by the older slaves.

Egeria tricked Nefertum into gifting her with many of his slaves. Faisal did not yet realize it, but he had just been freed.

Soon after, when offered to become a host, Faisal accepted, hoping to find Saad. He and Per’sus chose each other. While Per'sus was an adult, he still had much to learn. Faisal taught him patience. Years later, this lesson helped them win the hearts of Egeria and Justa.

Per’sus arranged a meeting with Nefertum. Saad was his personal lo’taur. Due to Saad’s declining health, Per’sus was able to purchase him. (Year 93)

At seventeen, Khasan’s side lost a battle over the “great ring.” Survivors were taken as prisoners of war. Fortunately, Cordesh and Jaydin arrived a few days later, looking for hosts. particularly for Per’sus. Khasan quickly volunteered.

Khasan relaxed a little after blending, and he shared what he learned in battle with Per'sus.

It was all for naught, as Ra’s forces arrived through the stargate. They marched from city to city, taking control. Lydos destroyed his own vineyard, salting the earth out of spite before escaping.

Lydos and a few others were rescued by Jolinar, who had been undercover. Since it would be a long journey, Jolinar explained how they were looking for hosts. She also helped Lydos accept that he was male, something that he had suspected. Realizing that Jolinar’s people understood him, he volunteered to be a host.

By Per'sus' 428th birthday, he only had ten clutch mates left, including Cordesh, Talrak, Jaydin, Se'laa, and Du'kar. (Year 493)

They married Rati when Uche died. (Year 532)

Finally, as an adolescent, he smuggled himself and others towards freedom.

They went to Neeka, a world that “even the Goa’uld fear.” (He later learned that Neeka was Asgard protected.) He met Jolinar, who recruited him to join Egeria’s rebellion.

Married Idella after Rati’s death. (Year 687)

In attempting negotiations with a primitive world, Demetrius and Per’sus were mistaken as a Goa’uld. They were captured, brutally tortured, then left on display to die. They were rescued by Lantash.

Mortally wounded, Demetrius was grateful to see Egeria and Idella one last time. He also encouraged Per’sus to forgive his killers.

His father died when he was eight. His third oldest brother, Declán, inherited the farm. Declán forced his step mother and half siblings to leave. They were taken in by Griffith’s oldest brother, Finn.

At age sixteen, he moved on to farmland owned by Lord Ellis. He made enough to survive, getting married when he was seventeen. A year later, his wife died in childbirth, and the baby was stillborn.

At twenty, he got engaged again, but she was killed by a jealous neighbor. Later that year, his mother, who had given him five more siblings, died.

At twenty-two, he remarried. On his wedding night, she had sudden chest pains and died. He never figured out the cause.

After that, no one dared to even date him.

A few years later, his people were slaughtered by Jaffa. Most of his siblings were killed. He and other survivors were taken in by the Tok’ra. With Demetrius’ unexpected wounds, a host was quickly needed. Gaenor volunteered.

They married Ruta after Idella died. Per’sus and Egeria assured him that he’s not bad luck to women. (Year 802)

His boat was attacked by pirates. Arthit was stabbed. Survivors were forced on to a lifeboat and left adrift. Arthit’s wound became infected.

Thankfully, they were saved by another fishing boat and taken back to land. A few days later, the Tok’ra came, looking for a host.

It was with Arthit (and Ruta) that Per'sus and Egeria celebrated nine hundred years together.

When Jaffa attacked, Arthit sacrificed his life to save larvae, which included Delek and Ocker.

Se'laa and her host, Aştî, were killed the same day that Arthit died…after which, Per'sus only had seven clutch mates left.

Fun Fact: He taught Per’sus to take the time to enjoy the little things in life. He also hated the smell of fish.

Jaffa attacked when he was twenty-four. His family was slaughtered. Xinyi was saved by his bodyguard, Ya. He lead survivors to the stargate, and they overpowered the Jaffa long enough to escape the planet.

He sought the Tok’ra out, having heard rumors about them.

Before they could fully settle, the Tok’ra base was attacked. Xinyi was saved by Ya again, as well as the newly blended Delek. However, he took heavy injuries.

Egeria selected him as a new host for Per’sus, both due to the injuries and due to his education. Xinyi agreed.

Ya soon blended with Ocker and was assigned as his bodyguard once again.

After Ruta’s death, he married Versha. (Year 983)

Egeria and her host, Versha, were lost. Talrak died soon after. (Year 998)

Like Per'sus, Xinyi remained loyal to his mates even after they were gone. He dedicated himself to keeping the Tok’ra alive. His skills proved to be invaluable.

Ümut was born as a high class slave, and he never knew his parents. Trained to be Shak’ran’s personal lo’taur, he learned tactics, battle strategies, and diplomacy.

He was allowed a wife, Aysu, though their children were taken immediately after birth. After years, they were allowed to keep a son, and they named him Sev, meaning “love.”

Years later, Ümut was “privileged” to use a sarcophagus to keep his youthful appearance. This backfired on Shak’ran, as Ümut began believing he was his equal. He became bitter, so when Sev was made a host, Ümut attacked Shak’ran and grabbed his son.

Aysu, who thought that Sev had become one with a god, attacked Ümut. He was forced to kill her. He grabbed a tel’tak and escaped.

When the Tok’ra found him, the withdrawals were killing him. Misunderstanding their offer, Ümut agreed to become a host, believing it was a deserved punishment. Per’sus was horrified to realize the truth.

They removed the Goa’uld from Sev, who blamed his father for his mother’s death and immediately left.

Per’sus offered to leave Ümut. Having lost everything, Ümut decided to remain a host and fight the Goa’uld.

Dudel † - Tenth Host - Year 1481

He remained loyal to Paz after blending, visiting her from time to time. He was thrilled when he became a grandfather.

On the 65th anniversary of his blending, he and Per’sus were honoring his previous hosts when the city was suddenly attacked. Dudel never saw his death coming. He was survived by his wife, three of his children, and seven grandchildren.

While he was six, he was betrothed to secure a treaty. He met her once at a party. They snuck outside, despite the rain, to climb trees and jump into puddles. Servants dragged them back in, and he lost outside privileges for a month.

He thought it was worth it.

A couple of years later, his home was invaded by another queen. He hid while his entire family was slaughtered. One of the servants disguised him as one of her children, and because he was male, it worked.

For five years, he was a servant to the people who had killed his family. He managed to escape, and in the city, he became an apprentice to a childless cobbler.

He never married, realizing he only favored men.

With the world around him becoming increasingly violent, he began following travelers through the stargate. He was always forced to return.

One day, he unknowingly followed the Tok’ra. Soon after, he volunteered to be a host and met with Per’sus.

Du'kar was killed, leaving Per'sus, Jaydin, and Cordesh as the last of their clutch mates.

He was trained to fight with a war hammer, also carrying a dagger into the arena. For the most part, he accepted his fate and embraced the glory. As years passed, he slowly earned enough money to buy his freedom.

He kept returning to the arena, seeking a glorious death.

One day, he thought he found it when a gladiator was clearly a better fighter. Their weapons were locked in combat when rings came down, and he was suddenly in a new location. He did the most dignified thing a man could do… He passed out. (He later blamed his injuries.)

The other man had been a crashed landed Tok’ra, specifically Ocker, who had been captured.

After an explanation and a small bit of counseling to address his death seeking behavior, Marco decided to be a host.

Fun Fact: Per’sus often woke up to Marco sparring. To this day, Marco is still famous gladiator among his people.

A woman who was in an abusive marriage. Kilso kills the husband and “kidnaps” her children to be raised by people who would love them. Yseult’s family suspects her. Yseult denies it so that no one else is punished for her actions.

They remained married with Vorran.

Irma - Fifth Host - Year 1632

A young girl. The 316 year marriage ends. They try to pick up where they left off when Irma is an adult, but it doesn’t work out.

Aubrey - Sixth Host - Year 1781

Aubrey left their home to escape the Jaffa. They have a romance with Vorran, but it is never serious. They end up in a semi-serious romance with Thoran instead.

Hurton - Seventh Host - Year 1963

Again, a relationship ends when Kilso blends with a child. By the time Hurton has grown, Thoran has moved on. Neither begrudge him this, and Kilso is genuinely happy for him.

They have a romance with Vorran, and his host, Fenz, but one day, Vorran becomes very distant. He ends the relationship, insulting Hurton in the process, claiming that Fenz is not interested.

Kilso is furious and hurt by this, and the two stop talking.

Later, it is discovered that Vorran had been killed. Kilso feels guilty, realizing that the cruel words were said to intentionally keep him distant, to keep him from seeing the truth, but before he can even process this news, Kilso is also killed. Hurton suffers the same fate as Fenz, forcing to host his symbiote’s murderer.

1878 • Einar becomes exclusive with Cordesh and Nelay’an. Per’sus doesn’t join the relationship. (Age 58)

1986 • Goes on undercover mission to spy on Apophis. They are caught and killed, then corrupted with the sarcophagus. (Age 166)

1989 • Participates in the Battle of Farra, an attack lead by Jolinar on Cronus. They are ambushed by Apophis due to information they gave.
