Clutching his head, his vision starts to blur. Memories of the past flood his mind - yet was it the past? Standing before Shadow, a familiar figure, but no recollection of who or what it is. Long, flowing hair. White - no, silver locks draped across the head. He’s seen this before. They were close, sharing the same struggle.
“What are you staring at?” The figure’s expression confused, concerned, intrigued. It introduces itself as Silver. He cracks a smile and takes off.

Battling his hallucinations, Shadow continues forth. It keeps wandering, but going back to the same place. Feelings of pain, joy, camaraderie, resolve. How could he feel all these about someone he had just met for the first time?
“You again?” Silver passes by again. This time Shadow has to find out. Why does he feel so close to this person? He grabs Silver by the chest, gripping his fur and shoves him against the wall.
“Why do I know you? Who are you? Why am I seeing these things with you in them? You’re making me feel these things. It’s all your fault.” Shadow’s face has a single streak running down his face. His emotions are getting out of control.
A confused Silver is not sure how to respond. He knew all this time. The stories, the laughs, the pain, the joy, the companionship. The battle against Ilblis, transforming together. All of it. Yet he buried those feelings within himself. The pain of Shadow not remembering what had happened - the present that had been overwritten. An unrequited love was too much to bear.
“Shadow…” Silver places his hands on Shadow’s face, wiping away Shadow’s tear with his thumb. Shadow’s grip slowly loosens. Silver embraces Shadow. His tears coming down uncontrollably.
“You remember.”
