Work Text:
Loud muttering was going through the cafeteria of OVER. No one seemed to care that she was standing on top of the tables. Everyone was just going about their day, except for some who were waiting for a spectacle.
They were used to this by now. Her, getting all loud and excited. Stepping on top of tables and making loud promises. That was her. That was Marissa.
But Charlie would never get used to this. She didn’t want to. Everytime, she would just listen to Marissa.
If she was talking about some interaction she had with a bear or just to call out someone who wronged her, Charlie would sit there and stare at her. See, how her dark hair was being thrown in all kinds of directions, while she talked and learning all of her hand signals. It would never fail to put a smile on her face.
Even if she doubted that the other woman would ever look at Charlie in midst the huge crowd of OVER employees.
So Charlie would just look forward to all those special days, where she would hear boots hit against the tables and know she would see that gorgeous face again.
Now Charlie is laying in her bed with the gorgeous face sleeping next to her.
Marissa looks all peaceful and her dark hair is all over the place.
Charlie tucks a strand behind Marissa‘s ear, trying not to wake her and can‘t help but smile. Smile the way she would solely for her.
She loved that woman to the moon and back.
