Chapter Text
Library, despite the random situations he caught himself in, has always been Saiki's comfort place. Every once in a while when he passed a certain shelf, it reminds him of how Nendou helped him. And when he sat down, it'd remind him when Teruhashi and him discussed for the festival. He doesn't like stupid cliche in romance, so he'd admit silently that his friends have become an important thing in his life.
Putting the thought aside, he pulled a book entitled; A Guide to Avoid Fame. Thinking back, his effort to become a normal student never succeed. It's time to renewed the plan. But can this book be trusted? It can. He doesn't know any single name on the back. Therefore proved the credibility.
First chapter; To Blend In. It talked about basically how to dress and act like a npc. Avoiding to do attention-catching and cliche things in life. He easily passed this one.
Chapter 2 would be: Avoid Your Striking Friends. Saiki wished he can. His friends are nowhere near normal. They are striking, scary, MC-coded. He could shiver at the thought. Especially Nendou, a somehow mindless creature. Even now, he could hear the malicious plan the purple-pervert had planned.
"C'mon Aiura! It's a kind-hearted plan meant for no harm." It's Toritsuka, begging on his knees disgustingly. Mikoto doesn't even care to glanced at him.
"You only want to get girls attention right? Pathetic creature you are. You just got rejected by, idk, your chairmate ain't it? Pfft-" She laughed sarcastically while looking at the mirror, putting her hair into a new hairstyle she just tried last night. Apparently, it's trending right now. And it looked good on her too. Enough to keep her mood good. That's the only reason they haven't fight. "Also, Saiki wouldn't even agree with that stupid idea." She added.
"We could give it a chance. Please?? I'd buy you that nail polish or stuff you've been ranting about." He plead, sniffling. Which makes her more grossed out.
But hey, that's isn't a very bad offer. She'd consider it. "Ask Saiki about it." She applied her fairly nude lipstick. She had a photoshoot with Mera and Chiyo after this, and school hours have end. So she takes her bag and quickly leave. "Bye bye-☆"
That left Toritsuka alone, wandering around the school to find Saiki. "I must concinced him!" He thought. His spirit to find him burning up.
Saiki doesn't like the idea. Without a second thought, he teleported to the rooftop when Toritsuka started to approach the library. I'll go home now, and buy coffee jelly first. Off he goes. And for the second time, the purple head was left alone again.
Toritsuka was devastated after hours of futile effort. His face drooping like a sad dog. His jelly-like legs have ran out of energy. There is no way he could walk anymore. The same applied to an old man ghost beside him. Who is never useful since the start. It's memory has gotten so bad, the man keep mistaken random student as Saiki.
"Reita!" A hand patted his shoulder. He knew this voice, Hairo's. His face went pale. "I've seen you walking around. Who are you searching?" It was indeed Hairo.
Toritsuka's spirit is no match to this flaming guy. His presence alone enough to ignite a fire to burn the whole school. Toritsuka could feel himself melting. He looked behind and grin sheepishly. Maybe this guy could be more helpful? "Saiki. Have you seen him?"
"Saiki?" Hairo rubbed his chin, thinking. "I didn't see him today. But don't be sad Reita! We can find him together!! LET'S GOO!!!" Oh no. This is the death of him.
That's how he got dragged for the rest of the day until he barely can walk. Saiki sighed in relieve from his room, coffee jelly in his hand. Today, he manages to have a rest.
