Seeing Ivan's body lying on the ground, I never believed that that fool would risk his life for someone as pathetic as me. I couldn't stand to see him lying there with that stupid smile. It made me so angry to see him on the floor in a pool of his blood. I fall, I can't take it anymore, because I thought he would live longer than everyone. At that moment I see something I can't believe: a slight movement of his chest.
Just then, some robots arrive and I step away from Ivan as they take him away. "Ivan!" I can only shout his name. It's no use, but it's the only thing that comes out of my mouth. Back in my capsule, I can only stop thinking: is he really alive? Was that movement I saw real or did I just imagine it? I would see him again.
Just then, I hear a noise and the door opening. At that moment, I remember the many times Ivan came into the room where I was punished to see me. It seemed like he always did it in a teasing way, but thinking about it, he never did anything more than stand there, help me, or try to make me feel better. A fleeting memory comes to mind: seeing Ivan's smile when he watched the meteor shower and holding my hand as he ran outside ANAKT GARDEN. What would have happened if instead of returning, we had escaped? None of this would have happened. But what would happen to the others?
The door opens and, without knowing why, the thought that it could be Ivan as always gave me a little happiness, the thought that maybe he wouldn't be so alone. But at random I look at her, I found Mizi, but it's not the Mizi I remembered. She had short wavy hair and such different clothes. She ran towards me. "Till, we have to go, we don't have time!" She brought a device with which she helps me take off my necklace and takes my hand to run. I follow her, even without understanding what is happening. Mizi was alive, but Ivan was not. What happened to Ivan?
I stay still for a moment, but I watch as Mizi continues to compliment me. At that, she turns to look at me. "Till, we have to go, we're about to arrive with the others." "Others?" "Yeah." Thinking that maybe Mizi also went for Ivan made me take her hand and run with her. In the end, we reach a van where I see two boys and a girl. The girl is covering a wound. As I get in, I see how the truck starts to move. At that, Mizi introduces me to the girl. "Till this is Hyuna, she leads a rebellion against the Aliens." Then pointing to the boys in front she says: "They are Isaac and Dewey, they are also in the rebellion. They helped me free you."
At that, I greet everyone and realize something: Ivan is not there. "Ivan, where are you?" Mizi looks at me with some sadness. "Till, Ivan lost the competition," as if she doesn't mean he's dead. "Mizi, Ivan was still alive, I saw him."
