Paintings and their meaning

Summary:

Just a little poem I wrote in a text dedicated to my lover. But because I like my privacy I only felt like posting this short bit.

Work Text:

One time I asked my art teacher: "what allows painters to show love thru a painting"

She answered: "they simply wished to put their love in words but as they where no poets instead of writing it down they painted it. That is the reason why their paintings about love mirror love so well cause their were painted with a heart full of love behind it."

But even if one is to paint the most detailed and most exotic peace of art some of its meaning will still be lost to the watcher, as their words simply aren't enough to comprehend the painters thoughts while painting the picture.

As a picture can omly mirror the love of one - the painter.

So if paintings fail to comprehend human emotion words shall do right? But what if words are understood differently, translated, transcribed differently in each and evry mind. How can one phrase their words according to the readers feelings. How can the writer describe their feelings so that their lover, the reader, will understand.

So if the arts and lyric fail to function as communicator between lover and loved one, what is one to do to show their most beloved how they really feel?

The answer is more simple than one one might belive, it's precence.
A simple hug can show one that the other one is listening or it can be a form if comfort or to a show of one's admiration.

Only if the basic need or wish for once precence is given one can being to understand the words spoken to them, only then one can one see the true mean of paintings dedicated to them.
