“Hmmh..” A low, guttural groan seeped from the bottom of Arthur's throat, as he briefly sat up. He glances around the hotel room for a moment, his boyish hair looking rather disheveled. There's a clear look of his eyebags as the city lights from the outside shined through the windows, and the moment it flashes on his eyes he groans once more and goes back to bed. He stirs around, pulling the blanket over him with a look of slight annoyance. “I can't even get a break,” He complained quietly, his frown forming a small crease on his forehead. He was upset.
It was until he took in the sight of Ariadne sleeping there, so peacefully. There's a soft sore emitting from her, and paired with those messy locks spread over the pillow Arthur can't help but smile. His night got better just because of that, and he shifted closer behind her. Stroking her hair, he pulled her closer to his chest and began spooning her, nuzzling her head. Ariadne opened her eyes just for a brief moment, too half-awake to even react to Arthur holding her. Though, internally she felt all warm and fuzzy inside. Ariadne snuggled closer to Arthur, as they both slept there peacefully.
The next morning, Ariadne wakes up. She wipes her eyes and yawns, resting her back against the headboard. Noticing that Arthur isn't there, she sighs. “Good morning, darling..” Arthur spoke sweetly as he walks in, wearing only a bathrobe. He's holding a cup of coffee in his hand, and she can smell it from here. It smelt so nice. “Good morning.” She greeted back with a smile, chuckling.
“Would you like some coffee?”
“Of course.”
