These have definitely been the longest three days of your life. Being away from Olivia and the rest of the squad this long has been stressful. You were honored to have been sent to Chicago for a case with Intelligence, but you also knew that Chicago is nothing like New York.
"Y/N, hi. Can you come here," Olivia asked. When you walked through the door to her office, you were met with a very needy kiss. "Hi Honey," you replied. Olivia leaned against her desk as you were catching her up on how you were doing. Somewhere into your blabbing, you noticed that she hasn't taken her eyes off you. She seems like she's hiding something, you thought. "Olivia," you say, snapping her out of her gaze. "What's going on?"
—Nothing, I just... I'm happy you're back home with me.
—You sure there's nothing else?
—Actually...
She goes behind her desk, opens up her drawer, and pulls out a small box. She takes your hand in hers, and brings you to the couch. "I love you," she says.
"I love you too," you reply, worry creeping on your face.
She sits beside you, and opens the box to reveal a gorgeous almond-shaped ring. You gasp at the surprise, which brings a smile to Olivia's lips. "Y/N, since the day I met you, you've changed me for the better. I am so happy that you came into my life because you make me a better woman. So, Y/N Y/L/N, will you do me the honor of being with me for the rest of our lives?" Before an answer could leave your mouth, you embrace her, as if you've been apart for years. As tears left your eyes, you were able to let out a small "yes". You cup her face, and connect your lips. She looks at you, and says, "well, now you're stuck with me."
