Chapter Text
Chuuya storms down the corridors to Mori's office to pick up Elise and Q for a day out with the other kids. Those kids being Q, Kyouka, Kenji, Akutagawa, and Gin.
Chuuya doesn't even ask permission he just barges into the room and motions to Elise and Q, Elise and Q just abandon what they were talking about to Mori and follows Chuuya. Next is the Akutagawa's.
"Gin, Akutagawa, you guys ready?" He says with the other two kids standing behind him.
Akutagawa opens the drawer and puts his wallet in his pocket, Chuuya stops him though. "Nope, put that back in there." Chuuya grabs the wallet and puts it back in the drawer and closes it. Then Gin, Akutagawa, Q, and Elise are trailing behind him like ducks following the mother duck.
There were two kids waiting outside the door when Chuuya exits the Port Mafia building. Kenji and Kyouka, who ran behind Chuuya to follow him to where he was taking them to for the day.
When Chuuya realizes how starved of affection the 6 kids were he took them straight to all sorts of places that children visit. Candy shops, especially candy shops, and the carnival. That wasn't even the end of it, they went to a mall, Chuuya let those kids choose whatever they want from any store(s).
"Mama Chuuya are you sure we can-" Kyouka started to ask.
Elise was quick to interrupt her "Kyouka! Mom said we could buy anything we want, now let's go!" She said as she started to drag Kyouka off.
Chuuya smiled at the feeling of these kids having fun. He loves this feeling, he really does. He should take these affection-starved kids out more.
"Mama!" Kenji called out with a very happy voice "look!" Kenji put a hat on Chuuya's head. It wasn't the same hat, but it was great and looked great on Chuuya. "I have some money, I'm buying this for you!" He smiles.
Oh this kid, what did Chuuya ever do to deserve these children? They are so lovable, and Chuuya is not, he's never been.
When they met up at 6 pm, they've been shopping for an hour and thirty minutes, they bought a lot of stuff but it was within Chuuya's budget, I mean Mori's budget, Chuuya swiped Mori's money off the man earlier when he picked up Elise and Q.
Those kids were so happy, so so happy, they were all smiling and talking while Chuuya drove in the car. In the front seat sat Akutagawa, he was fidgeting with the ear of a small tiger plush he got, which Chuuya noticed.
"Whatcha got there?" Chuya glances at the plush, knowing it's for Atsushi.
"For Atsushi, he didn't get to come today and I bought him some stuff.." Akutagawa replies
"That's nice of you. You're all nice kids, you know that?" Chuuya says
The lack of response made Chuuya wonder who the hell raised these kids!?
"It's true. Hey Akutagawa, do you want to stop by the agency dorms to give the stuff to Atsushi?" Chuuya turns a corner, knowing the answer is 'Yes'.
"The agency doesn't know about this and they're all most likely at the dorms since the fever Atsushi has won't go down even with Yosano-san's ability" Kyouka says. Yosano had tried her ability on Atsushi all it did was heal the cuts, plus, the ability user that they already caught, captured, Dazai touched his shoulder, said that the effects of the ability would go away in a week. That was a 6 days ago.
Chuuya stops the car infront of the agency, Akutagawa hands Kyouka 3 bags of stuff he got for Atsushi. "Kyouka, are you still going to come back down after you give the stuff to Atsushi? We'll be waiting if you are" Chuuya says
"Yeah." Kyouka replies replies after going up to go to the agency dorms.
"Dazai answer the door" Kunikida looks back at the door when he hears a knock "it's probably Kyouka and Kenji"
Dazai opens the door since he was right next to it and he goes back to playing a game on his phone.
Kyouka sat by Atsushi and placed the bags Akutagawa got him, and the stuff she got him in the corner. "We got you some stuff, I thought it might be fair since you didn't get to go with Kenji and I" she says.
Yosano eyes the contents of the bags, noticing a lot of them were expensive. "Who's money did you use?"
Oh well, how's she supposed to explain that she was out hanging out with the mother of all stray children, who's Chuuya Nakahara, a mafia executive?
Not answering and just nodding in reponse is what she decides is the best decision since she can't say she used her mom's money and her birth mom is umm, well dead.
Kyouka got back in Chuuya's car and so did Chuuya since Chuuya was trying to stop Akutagawa and Q from fighting outside on the other side of the car.
"Mom, can we go nowww?" Elise asks with impatience
"Sure sweetie." Wow, he has never done that. Is he actually turning into their mom? "You two, I'm not mad I'm not disappointed either." He sighs "besides, I'll take you all to an amusement park again, so get back in the car, I don't want to waste anymore ok?" Chuuya says in such a voice people would think he actually adopted these children.
Through the window. Somebody saw what just happened, Kyouka went into the same car that had people from the mafia in it. Said somebody are the Tanizaki's.
"Oh my gosh! Kyouka's with the mafia, is that Chuuya Nakahara!?" Naomi said put loud, she did not mean to do that.
"Wait what?" Dazai goes to the window when he hears Chuuya's name, and saw the same thing. It's quite hard to see but you could see Elise through the door Kyouka opened and Chuuya on the other side of the car facing away from the agency scolding two children, Akutagawa and Q.
