Chapter Text
The ball ran quickly across the field, passing from one foot to the other of another player on the field, without any interference.
They passed the ball to Spitfire, who ran with it on her foot towards the opposite side of the field.
She slid the ball diagonally to Lightning Dust, who dodged one of her opponents with a perfect dribble, smiling mockingly as she managed to advance closer to the other team's goal.
- Pass the ball now, pass the ball now... - Applejack commented, biting her nails nervously.
Her leg couldn't stay still, nervous, and she looked at her television screen, frantically, looking for someone specific on the team, knowing that Lightning Dust wouldn't pass the ball to her.
As predicted, she was too proud to pass the ball, which made her get stuck between 3 other players, who stole the ball, intending to counterattack.
Applejack held her breath as she knew she was coming.
She always enjoyed grand entrances at matches.
"Melina reached the ball, continues advancing towards the Wonderbolts' field, dodges Vapor Trail and continues alone on the opponent's field line! Now she will pass the ball to her partner Lily Sky, who is a great midfield player! But no! Look who took off and stole the ball from Melina! Rainbow Dash makes the crowd cheer by showing off her first passes in the game and advancing once again, threatening the opponents' goal!"
The blonde's heart began to beat faster as soon as she saw, with the poor quality of her TV, her multicolored hair swinging in a ponytail across the field.
She smiled excitedly, knowing that it was now done: either they would score a goal in the next 5 minutes or a very successful attempt.
But it was always like this, if Rainbow Dash managed to catch the ball....
The attacker passed the ball to Fleetfoot, managing to avoid the opponents who surrounded her and managing to position herself in a diagonal gap, waiting for her teammate's movement. Fleetfoot moved away from the goal, going to one of the sides, only to pick up momentum with her run and kick the ball, which flew away, towards Rainbow Dash.
She quickly stopped the ball's flight with a jump, stopping it in her chest and it soon fell to the ground.
With the ball at her feet and the small distance between the goal, she approached, much to the fear of her opponents and Applejack's elation.
"The ball runs across the pitch, Rainbow Dash dodges two opponents, there's a pass to the side that she isn't seeing, but, look! She surprises everyone by not trying to directly score the goal, but passing the ball to Muffins Hooves who there was no defense from the opposing team! With the surprise attack, Muffins kicks the ball towards the goal and scores a point!!! It's 1-0 for the Wonderbolts!!!"
Applejack sighs, excited.
It was amazing how amazing Rainbow Dash always managed to be in games.
It was a match like most others.
The Wonderbolts won, 2x1, and so Applejack was able to finish her tasks in a good mood.
- For you to be making pie is because your favorite team won a game. - Applebloom guessed, drooling at the pie just placed on the table.
- You're more than right, little sister. - The blonde says, ruffling the younger girl's hair and returning to the kitchen with a satisfied smile.
It was always like this.
When she became aware that a Wonderbolts game was going to take place, she spent the previous moment tense, until the list of players for the day was released and she could calm down when she saw the best player (in her opinion and that of more than thousands of people). included in the team.
I mean, it would be stupid not to add Rainbow Dash to the match, but sometimes the coach knew how to be completely incompetent when forming groups.
After dinner and having washed the dishes, she heard her company ringing at 8 o'clock sharp.
She dried her hands on the towel, heading to the door.
- Hey, Twi. - She greeted, letting her friend pass through her door.
- Good night, Apple. - She says, smiling at the blonde. - Let's study? - Of course that was why Twilight was animated.
The blonde rolls her eyes, heading towards the table.
- Yeah, I don't have a choice. - She murmured, disgusted.
They had already finished school three years ago and Twilight was almost finishing her computer science degree, while Applejack remained without continuing her studies.
Managing the farm was her priority and still was, but when certain issues began to require certain knowledge from her, she decided it was time to try college or a technical course that could help improve the operation of the farm.
To do that, she needed to study. And since Twilight was two semesters ahead in her studies and her term paper was 80% ready, she had plenty of time to help her friend.
They studied for... Half an hour at most, before Applejack convinced her to talk about other things.
Other things like... The Wonderbolts' last victory.
Twilight listened to everything, bored, because the blonde wasn't even talking about the game.
She was talking about Rainbow Dash.
- You had to see, when they blew the whistle to end the game, she jumped up high with a big smile on her face, extending one arm up in celebration of her victory! - She exclaims, excited, doing the same movements, with a sparkle in her eyes.
- You will definitely not have any problems writing essays. You speak very well. - Twilight commented, leaning on her own hand. She sighed, seeing that Applejack ignored what she said and was laughing into nothingness.
- Again? Again?? - Granny Smith shouted, arriving from the kitchen. The blonde woke up, seeing what her grandmother was going to do and rolled her eyes. - She's talking about that player again, isn't she? Applejack is impossible!!
- Everything is fine? - Twilight asked, fearful, seeing the angry lady.
- No! Not good! Applejack can only talk about this Rabium Flash all day long and it ruins all my plans to have great-grandchildren! - She shouted, excited, slamming the dish towel on the table.
Twilight swallowed, not knowing if she should listen to that.
Deep down, she was very disappointed that Granny Smith didn't accept lesbian relationships.
She thought the elderly woman was angry because her granddaughter was a lesbian and therefore couldn't have children.
Twilight was feeling bad for her friend when she saw Applejack look at her grandmother angrily.
- This has nothing to do with her. And her name is Rainbow Dash, granny!
- See? - Grandma Smith points to her granddaughter, looking at the visitor. - I've tried to find someone for her, we Apples know a lot of people, but no one! No one is enough for Applejack! - She says with frustration.
- It's not my fault if they don't like women's soccer, don't support the Wonderbolts or have colored hair, after all, even Bic McIntosh has dyed hair. This is the new fashion! - She justified herself, shrugging her shoulders.
- That's not what you want and I know it!- Grandma Smith says, looking at her furiously. - I've tried calling some girls, but just because they don't watch soccer, you despise them! - She whimpers, putting her hands on her face.
By now, Twilight's jaw was already dropping.
- I don't know why you did that, I don't like girls! - She exclaimed back.
- But you like this Saloon Fresh! - She shouts back, irritated.
- Rainbow Dash, granny! Rainbow Dash! And I admire her! Is different!
Granny Smith looked at Twilight tiredly.
- Don't you have someone to introduce Applejack to? I no longer see a solution for this girl. - She murmured, tired, leaving the dining room.
Twilight took a deep breath, stunned.
She expected homophobia, but saw only despair.
- My grandmother has been freaking out about this lately. Just because she got married at 22 doesn't mean I have to do the same, right? I already take care of the farm, why is she so worried about it anyway? - She blurted out, her brow furrowed.
Twilight licked her lips, looking at her critically.
- We need to have a serious conversation.
The blonde looks at her with a raised eyebrow.
- Seriously like, can't we talk today?
- Exactly. I need to do my field research before we can talk. - She says seriously.
They arranged to meet at the weekend, in four days.
°°°
The two were in Applejack's room, Twilight sitting at the table with a clipboard and Applejack sitting on the floor, leaning on her bed, solving some calculations for the farm's expenses.
She was focused on damn rules of proportion when Twi cleared her throat, catching her attention.
She looked up from her papers, paying attention to her friend.
- Are you ready for your questioning?
- Shouldn't I be the one asking that? - Twilight says, strangely.
- You seem more nervous than me. - The blonde replied, shrugging her shoulders.
Two knocks on the door and Grandma Smith entered with two filled tubs of popcorn.
She glared at her granddaughter and smiled at Twilight.
- Do something fun. You're the only one who seems like a good influence on my granddaughter. - She praises, giving the woman two friendly pats on the head, who smiles embarrassedly.
Applejack took a deep breath, seeing her grandmother leave the room, leaving them alone.
- Your grandmother is always so kind to me. - She says, embarrassed, but happy.
- She thinks we're girlfriends. - Applejack calmly warns and Twilight looks at her in panic.
- What? But, how?? - She exclaimed in disbelief.
She loved her friend, but dating her would be impossible.
Mainly because Applejack already seemed in love with someone else.
- It doesn't matter, let's talk. - She says, getting up and sitting on the bed, taking the popcorn with her.
She turned on the TV, while Applejack lazily got up from the floor, leaving her notebook aside as she lay down on the other side of the bed.
- So, Twi psychologist, what do you have for me today? - She teases, eating some of the popcorn.
She knew that whenever her friend wanted to do that kind of meeting, it was because there was something "psychologically wrong or hidden" that needed to be discovered.
It was like that when she felt pressured by the lack of studies after finishing school and it was like that when she almost lost Granny Smith to a virus.
Twilight knew when her friend was in trouble and always made her confess what she felt, because if it were up to Applejack alone, she would keep everything to herself.
Applejack didn't know what she was hiding now, as she really felt good, so she just waited to see what her friend would be up to this time.
Twilight rolled her eyes at her response, finishing putting the movie on the TV, before turning to her.
- Let's talk about the Wonderbolts. - She warned and soon saw Applejack's interest emerging.
She even sat up better on the bed, giving an impressed smile.
- I didn't think you'd want to talk about it, have you finally decided to like soccer? - She asked, euphoric.
- No. Actually... I want to take a test. To see if you really are a true fan. - She explained, slowly, watching her friend's every reaction.
Of course she smiled arrogantly, turning towards her.
- You're facing Ponyville's biggest fan, ask whatever you want. - She guarantees, with a competitive smile.
- Okay. Let's start with Rainbow Dash. - She says, crossing her arms and Applejack feels her chest vibrate with joy knowing that she would talk about her. - Answer objectively:
- What's her name?
- Rainbow Cloud Dash.
- Nickname?
- RD, but also Dash for those closest to her. - She hums the nickname with a contained smile on her lips, dreaming of the possibility of being able to call her that.
- Age?
- 23 years. A rising star. - She flattered, giggling a little.
- Where does she live?
- Manehattan. But she was born in Cloudsdale. Can you believe it's only about 3 cities away? - She exclaims, excited to live "close" to her hometown.
- Pets?
- She has two. A turtle called Tank and a dog called Bolt. I also have a dog, isn't that amazing?? We are very similar. - She exclaimed, excited and moved.
Twilight looked at her seriously, before returning her eyes to her clipboard.
- Friends?
- Fluttershy, she is a street artist and actress in her spare time. Fleetfoot is her favorite teammate.
Twi took a deep breath.
- Blood type?
- A+. I know it's beside the point, but I have A -, you know? Sometimes I dream that I will be able to donate my blood to her in a time of need. - She says dreamily, shuddering inside, just thinking about being able to help her idol.
- She even creates fanfics in her mind... - Twilight mutters to herself, writing this down in the corner of the sheet. - This is worrying. Favorite food?
- Fruit salad. - Applejack responds, very pleased with the joke. - And you didn't ask, but... - She laughed, embarrassed. – Her favorite fruit is apples.
Applejack freaked out when she found out about this by watching one of the interviews she did.
Seriously, she grew apples and her favorite player loved apples???
She... She... She was happy for a whole month when she found out.
When she got discouraged at work, knowing that Rainbow liked what she did was what gave her the encouragement to keep going.
- Favorite chocolate?
- She loves crunchy ones. She loves Crunch with all her heart. - She responds promptly.
She wouldn't admit it, but she was very disappointed when she didn't find that chocolate on the shelves at the local market.
Had to go to the next town to try it.
- Is there anything else you would like to add? - Twilight asks, taking more notes.
- Since we're talking about her, she loves pizzas stuffed with olives. - She says, making a face. Applejack hates olives, but doesn't think it would be a problem for them. – She doesn't drink soda, but she does drink alcoholic drinks sometimes, her favorite drink is apple cider. - Applejack almost melts when she says this, because her dream was for Rainbow to try her cider, which she makes with so much love there on the farm. - Someday... I'll still give her my cider and she'll fall in love! I'm sure! - She promises to herself, with a huge smile. - She almost formed a musical band when she was in school, you know? But she became discouraged when she didn't have enough members. I think she was the only one who had talent there and...
- Okay, okay, that was enough. - Twilight asked, feeling her head start to hurt. She looked for the other sheet she had, behind the questions. - And who is this? - Showed a photo of another player.
- Spitfire, obviously. - She shrugged, easily distracted by what was on TV, now that what interested her was no longer the topic of conversation.
She frowned when she saw two girls looking suspiciously at each other.
What kind of movie had Twilight put on?
- What is her full name?
- From Spitfire? I never researched. - She admits, calmly.
- Age? Where does she live? - She asked and Applejack shook her head.
- I only know that she lives in Manehattan, because the players live together during one period of the year. - Applejack says and Twilight rolls her eyes. Of course she knew, it was when Spitfire was with Rainbow.
- And what is her biography? Because you know all about Rainbow Dash. - She mocked, looking at her friend.
- She's the best, okay? The best! That's why I like her! - Applejack exclaimed, not understanding what she was getting at.
- Do you know what her sexuality is, Applejack?- Applejack chewed the popcorn in her mouth more cautiously, blushing a little due to the specific topic.
- It looks like she's a lesbian...
Twilight held back a frustrated scream.
- It doesn't seem like it, she is! We know this from the three hundred videos that ask her this, plus she has a walking flag on her head! - She ruffled her own hair, in a slight outburst.
- And? - Applejack scorned, focused on the TV, which, unfortunately for her, two girls were kissing.
She looked away at her wall, seeing her two soccers posters.
One of the Wonderbolts, another of Rainbow holding the cup they won at the Olympics 3 years ago.
She had a huge smile in that image.
Applejack always felt warm in her heart when she saw her.
- Are you sure you don't like her? Romantically? - She asked, turning to look into her friend's eyes. She tried to see the depths of her soul, when she smiled mischievously. - Are you going to tell me you never dreamed of her giving you kisses... - She pouted, closing her eyes and Applejack jumped in her place, throwing all the popcorn to the sides.
- Of course not!!! - She says, haunted by the possibility. - She's on a different level than me and... I'm straight! I thought you already knew that.
Twilight let out the loudest laugh she'd ever had in her life, which even the neighbors could hear, such was her outrageous laugh.
- What are you laughing at, you crazy? - Applejack asked, looking scared at her friend.
She looked like she was about to freak out. And maybe she was.
- I've known you since elementary school, Applejack! And you want to lie to me now and say you're straight? - She asked, when she managed to catch her breath, but she didn't stop laughing. It was all very absurd. - I thought you were saying that because you were in front of your grandmother, but are you trying to deceive me?
Applejack frowned, troubled.
- I don't like women. I have never liked it in my entire life, why would this happen now?
- How come you never liked women?? You've clearly been fascinated by Rainbow Dash since you were in your 20s! - She exclaims, irritated.
- One thing has nothing to do with another! I didn't think you had that kind of stereotype in your head, Twi. - She looked at her with judgment and Twilight laughed in disbelief. - Just because I like football doesn't make me homosexual! I am hetero!
- I can't believe I'm discussing sexuality with my friend at this point in the championship. - She denied with her head.
- And I don't know why you're so engaged in this. You're also addicted to that guitarist from that local band in Canterlot and I've never complained!
- I'm clearly bisexual, Applejack. And yes, I don't deny my feelings, I'm in love with Sunset Shimmer! - She screamed, turning red. - I know it's my fan passion, but if I could... Oh, if I could, I would definitely get involved with her. - She admits it, without qualms. She looked at her friend with conviction. - And you, Applejack? What would you do if you had the chance to be with your only "favorite player"?
Twilight's provocation wanted to bring thoughts to Applejack's mind, but she was resistant to that kind of thing, so she avoided that question hard, even if doubt occasionally crept into her head.
°°°
A few days later, Applejack was picking apples, calmly, since it wasn't sales time, just to keep up the pace and prepare some desserts, while listening to something relaxing to accompany her on that Sunday morning.
Classic music? Sound of birds? Rain falling?
None of that.
It reproduced the narration of the last national women's soccer cup, which, obviously, the Wonderbolts won.
It was a very close match, but they managed to win on penalties.
This doesn't mean that the game was tedious, on the contrary, the amount of tense moments made Applejack almost die of her heart.
She smiled with satisfaction when she heard that Rainbow had caught the ball and was running across the field.
Applejack closed her eyes as she plucked another apple from the tree and imagined the scene in her mind.
Rainbow sprinting nimbly through the cool grass, a confident smile on her face and determined gaze, looking back at her...
She felt someone poking her, so she turned around in fright, jumping away.
It was Twilight, who looked at her with wide eyes.
Applejack quickly took off her headphones, which were at full volume, the match could still be heard between them in the silence of the place.
- You look like you were doing something very wrong. - Twilight noted, looking at her suspiciously.
- I was picking apples, don't you see? - She pointed to the basket she was carrying, her heart still hammering in her chest at maximum speed.
Why was she so nervous, anyway?
- You were being gay for soccer again. - She murmurs, so she doesn't have to say "gay for Rainbow Dash".
- It's a weird way of saying it, but... Yes. I was rewatching a match. - She admits, confused.
- Well, I came here to brighten your morning with a gift. - Twilight admits, giving her friend a smile.
- Sorry, Twi, I don't want another one of your story summaries. They are killing me. - She confesses, making a face.
- That's not what I was going to give you. And are they really that bad? - She asks, pouting.
- Your supposed summaries are 7 pages long. To deal with a single subject. This is not a summary. - And she didn't want to say it, but her friend's handwriting was terrible, when she did things with excitement.
- Anyway, that's not what I was going to give you. - She says, embarrassed. - Just because of your complaint, I should no longer give you what I have here in my pocket.
- You wouldn't do that to a friend who makes you pies every time you're nervous about her exams, would you? - Applejack says, looking at her with disbelief and amusement.
A story summary wouldn't fit into Twilight's pocket, so whatever came was profit.
She wouldn't be denying a gift.
Twilight smirked, pretending to think.
- I don't know if I should... You don't seem to deserve a ticket to watch women's soccer that I got from my brother.- She says, taking the ticket from her pocket and fanning herself with it.
Applejack smiled excitedly.
- Serious?! Who did he get it from now? I loved watching the Pop Feet team play in Canterlot, it was perfect! - And she wouldn't admit it, lest Twilight call her gay again, but she almost became obsessed with a player named Rara.
But it was impossible. Rainbow already dominated her heart.
- No, my dear... - Twilight laughs, dismissing her idea.
The reality was that Shining Armor was a football coach, so he got tickets every now and then.
Twilight had already given her some tickets before, for different matches in Equestria.
And just because of her love for women's soccer, she would go every time.
It was exciting to see so many women committed to something, it lit something in her chest that she didn't even know existed.
She told herself it was motivation.
She was motivated by watching good girls play.
- I think you're going to have to flatter me a lot, after I get this for you. - She says, convinced. - It's for a Wonderbolts match. To the next week.
Applejack instantly froze, staring at her in shock.
She had never been to one of their matches.
- You are kidding. - She murmurs, mouth open.
- No, I'm not! - She exclaims, excited. - You'll watch them next week! In a cabin!! - She screams, jumping in her place.
Applejack accepts the ticket and when she reads the words that seemed like a dream to her mind, she screamed excitedly along with her friend.
- Thank you, thank you, thank you, Twi!!! - She says, hugging her friend, laughing nonstop.
- You'll finally meet Rainbow Dash! - Twilight says with a huge smile at her.
The blonde's heart momentarily failed.
- I'm going to meet her. By the holy apples, I will meet her. - She murmured in amazement. - And all because of you, I love you, Twilight Sparkle! - She exclaims with emotion, lifting her friend in her arms.
Twilight screamed in fright and started laughing as she was carried around the farm by the elated blonde.
°°°
Applejack saw her ticket punched and the attendant letting her into the stadium.
She took a shaky breath, not believing that she would see the Wonderbolts play there.
She walked up the stairs with a contained smile on her face, looking at everything around her.
The blonde was a little nervous, after all Twilight wasn't there, as she had to be at the other end of Equestria for a concert by the local band she liked, which was taking place that night.
Once she found her seat, she sat down watching the judges begin to prepare on the field.
She was alone in the stands, waiting for the game to start. Her foot tapped constantly on the metal floor, as she chewed another piece of her apple pie, which was already running out, such was her anxiety.
She didn't know why she was so nervous.
Whether it was because she would see the Wonderbolts play, whether it was because it was against her favorite rivals or whether it was because she would finally meet Rainbow Dash in person.
To tell the truth, she spent the night dreaming about it.
That Rainbow Dash would notice her in the crowd, find that her is worthy of being her friend and they could share a good apple cider on a sunny afternoon at Sweet Apple Acres, while watching the sunset, with happy smiles at each other, waiting for the next moment together.
Maybe she exaggerated a little.
But her heart was shaking, just imagining being in the same place as the player.
The pie was gone and she would have started biting her nails, if it weren't for the whistle that signaled the players' entry.
Applejack's eyes fixed on the gate, which the women began to enter, waving to the entire stadium.
The blonde's heart stopped as soon as she saw the colorful hair entering the field, waving a calm smile to everyone.
She wasn't nervous about the match, on the contrary, she was confident.
Applejack felt her own jaw hit the floor when she saw her in person.
It wasn't a lie when they said that screens didn't show someone's beauty.
Applejack followed her with her eyes every moment.
Her heart was capable of beating anxiously and jubilantly, at the same speed as she saw Rainbow run, so committed to winning that game.
She saw the flushed face of the player, who tried hard to help the team at every possible moment and she could only feel embarrassed about what was going through her head.
Applejack wanted to be the reason she was tired like that.
Her own face flushed at the thought, as she imagined a thousand and one possible scenarios of this happening.
She was certainly enchanted by Rainbow Dash.
And that wasn't something someone who said that were heterosexual would do.
Applejack hadn't expected to have an epiphany about her sexuality in the middle of a soccer game, but well... It was happening.
She no longer knew if she liked boys, much less knew if she liked girls, but she definitely liked Rainbow Dash.
And that woman was... Incredible.
She caught the ball once again and propelled herself into a run across the field that made the blonde sigh in love.
Her eyes roamed all over the player's body, her body tensing as she admired Rainbow Dash's firm thighs for longer than necessary.
Applejack looked away, licking her lips, which were suddenly dry, trying to gain some control over what her mind was thinking.
And it was like that for the rest of the match.
She finds herself completely fascinated by Rainbow Dash.
The smile, her sensational plays, her interactions with the fans, which made Applejack feel dizzy every time her eyes seemed to see her for a single moment.
She wouldn't have realized the game was over if it weren't for the loud whistle that sounded for everyone to hear.
Applejack wouldn't lie: if she were asked at that moment, she wouldn't be able to tell what the score of the game was.
She wasn't even there for the Wonderbolts.
But only by the perfect smile on Rainbow's face she could say with absolute certainty that they had won.
And the victory was so beautiful...
She had colorful hair that lit up her vision with the most beautiful colors she had ever seen in her life.
When she saw the players start to leave the field, she woke up.
In a few minutes, they would all be heading home, but they would pass by a catwalk, which fans could wait to see them walk past.
Twilight informed her in advance of a shortcut to get there faster, which she took in an instant, so she could get a good spot and see Rainbow even closer.
Just the idea made her heart melt and a smile form on her face, when she saw the metal railing just ahead with a large space for her to position herself.
The players left, one by one, heading towards their bus and they all received lots of applause and euphoric exclamations.
But nothing about Rainbow Dash.
Applejack was already getting nervous, but she knew it.
Oh, as she knew, that she would want to be the last one, to draw everyone's attention to her, seeming to want Applejack's heart to stop working at once.
And that's exactly what happened.
As soon as Spitfire got on the bus, all that was left was for her to appear.
And when the blonde saw the multicolored hair in her field of vision, she had to lean on the bars due to the weakness in her legs.
Damn, why did she have to be so beautiful?
She blinked, dumbfounded, watching her walk slowly, as if she owned the entire stadium and that arrogance should have been ugly, but it was... So attractive.
The player smiled and waved to her fans, her chest inflated with the amount of claps and exclamations she received.
Rainbow Dash looked in the direction of everyone who was cheering her at the moment and chose one of them to please.
The screams became more euphoric as she approached the railing and she chose a blonde who was looking at her completely dumbfounded.
- Hello, cutie. Can I have your cell phone? - She asked, smiling sideways.
Applejack had her rational signal broken, completely terrified by her recent discovery that she was in love with a woman.
And on top of that, that woman.
Therefore, she was shocked that she wanted to steal her cell phone.
She opened her mouth, breathing deeply. Five minutes ago she didn't imagine that the first words she would exchange with Rainbow Dash would be indignant complaints.
- I'm sorry, but this is the only one I have, you have a lot more money than me, you can buy a new one. - She quickly justified herself.
The player frowned, smiling in disbelief at what she had heard.
She ended up laughing, in good humor, several camera clicks captured the moment.
- I want to take a photo with you.- She explained clearly. - You don't want it? - She asked the question with a soft smile.
Applejack blinked, taking her cell phone out of her pocket and handing it to the player at the same moment.
Rainbow smiled, opening her phone screen, seeing the background being a photo of nature.
- What's your name, dear? - She asked, opening the app and looking at the front camera.
To say that the blonde turned red like an apple was an understatement.
- Applejack. - She murmured, embarrassed.
Rainbow Dash looked at her in surprise, disbelieving that that was her name.
Was that woman named after your favorite alcoholic drink?
What were the chances of that happening? She imagined that she was saying that just to please her, but that wouldn't be possible.
She had never said on any TV show what the name of her favorite brand was.
So she smiled, extending the camera forward.
- It's a beautiful name. - She praised, before approaching the railing to focus on the two on his cell phone camera.
Applejack looked delighted at Rainbow Dash, after receiving two compliments in a row in the same day, while the player smiled, seeing Applejack through her cell phone camera.
She took three photos, before tilting the phone back towards its owner.
The blonde grabbed her cell phone, astonished that it wasn't all a dream, but was surprised when she couldn't grab the cell phone.
Rainbow still held the other end.
Applejack looked up shyly, meeting Rainbow Dash's eyes.
Was it normal for your heart to be racing for so many minutes?
- Post this photo, Applejack. - She asked, smiling, flirtatious. - And tag me. So I can meet you once again.
She winked and put down her cell phone, ready to leave.
- Hang on! - Applejack exclaimed, taking courage, she doesn't know where. Rainbow looked at her again, intrigued.
- Yes?
Applejack licked her lips nervously, taking something out of her bag and handing it to the player.
Rainbow analyzed, curious.
- A cider?
- Apple cider. - She explained, seeing Rainbow's eyes light up when she discovered the flavor. She smiled small, ecstatic to make Rainbow interested. - I recommend drinking it cold.
She pushed the drink towards her, and she held it in surprise.
- We better leave now, Rainbow. Coach wants to talk to you before he leaves. - A guard spoke in her ear and she nodded, still looking at Applejack.
She smiled one last time at the blonde.
- I hope to see you again, Applejack.
And she waved to everyone before leaving and leaving a happy, passionate heart behind.
