Hibiki stood before his rooms door. The young man was worn out, lightly sweaty and presented with some scratches and little bruises on his exposed skin. A tough day, not to rare for him. With the strange goings on with the Blue Battalion reaching out to colorless recruits the last couple weeks made his and other new Rangers schedules pretty tight. Not to mention that strange thing in the alley, not the one staring back at him s it wrapped its small body with a ripped trash bag. No.That thing in the dark that could have taken his arm of if he was not warned. It skittered right after that and the young Ranger felt he couldn't report that. He could not.
The door knob firmly in his hand he side eyed the hallway. Keeping his head still he breathed in and listened. No one seen, no one heard he quickly unlocked the door and stepped in, closing it shut in an instance. His back resting on the inside of his own door he slid down, his shoulders lowering. A deep sigh escaped, letting the tension of the man to dissipate. Opening his eyes wide again he tilde his head upward looking towards his bed. The usually neat, proper, not a crease perfection of a sheet has been no longer. Not since that very day. From the day the reason for his silence came to live besides him. Hibiki could not blame a soul for his own decision. No way would he back out either.
The dark figure was wrapped was all bunched up on one spot of the twin mantras. From the single gap a black something peaked out with only a dimly glowing yellow pupil staring back.
"You..." The young man uttered questioningly. His piercing eyes gliding over the sheet creature. "You seem to be doing good. All back?"
An annoyed growling sounded out from the sheet as it scrunched up even more.
"Let me see. I am fine, just leave me alone." Hibiki gleefully spoke in his guests place.
With a flash a part of the washed out white cloth swung across the bed with anger. "I can talk myself, you goody-two-shoe Ranger!"
The once obscured Duster partially jumped out of his improvised robes exposing his clenched teeth and wild tumbled hair. His tensed arm and finger shakily pointed straight at his benefactors chest.
Al that the fuming bunch of bedding got in return was a smile. A nauseously cheery smile that was all him. "I'm glad you are."
The Duster tsked, his face turned away from the irritating redhead. A second later said redhead plumped right next to him making the bed do a little jump. With no warning the young man had thrown his arm around the bed bug in a sort of friendly gesture. "Hey!" The grump lost all his gusto under the embrace of Hibiki, loosening his stature and sheet cover. He was indeed back to the human for this man knew.
"Wait. Did I have that? Don't say you went out while I was " The young mans curious demeanor quickly grew into a overly passionate panic. His finger went from resting against D to clutching the white fabric of his clothes.
D exploded out his hide out to stand tall on the bed. "Go you? If I only could. A rose glassed bastard has dragged me into the Ranger, my suppressors and arch enemies, headquarters while I was the size of only a single arm! To your information, mister Ranger, I haven't shifted since that blue bitch hit me with his god awful divine artifact".
"Where did you get those clothes from then?"
"Clothes?"
Questions exchanged both men fell quiet and still. Staring at each other Hibiki made his move and calmly took the bottom hem of the white shirt between his fingers. He lifted the cloth a tin bit, putting a tit more pressure on it. "This.." Not able to let the sentence finish the white seemingly tor of and scattered into a black mist, the Dusters dust.
"That is my body, you idiot." D uttered in disgust.
"Wait. Does that mean." The young man sat in slight shock as his partner in crime sat down again in disbelieve of the human intellect.
"I just came back to normal here. Don't go man handle me fragile body, you asshole."
Just as D got his discontent out of his mouth, his rather spontaneous friend went all in. The playful dog of a man grabbed, pulled and pushed his hands and fingers under the hem, seeing and feeling no more than a inch or two of skin. The nothing, just the start of the shirts inside going back down. The two wrestled as the kaijin yelped and cursed under his breath while his child like companion roamed around the newly formed tender duster flesh.
"Nothing. There is nothing. It is like it is fused to our skin. No. Your skin itself."
D held out with all his might as they slid across the bed, making a even bigger mess of the sheets then the guest made himself. He Grabbed and pushed Hibikis head away from himself, blushing and panting from the exertion. "Of course it is. Now let go of me you..."
"But what if people see." The redhead practically jumped from under the shirt, hands to the sides of his legs as he hovered over D's body. The Duster looked at him in confusion from his awkward position, sitting there between his bent knees, eyes wild but focused. "Even if you make yourself look different, get e new face. If a doctor looks at you or you have to change. Anything can happen and you don't have a proper body."
"Why in fuck are you concerned about this!"
D sat on the closed toilet lid. That is what humans called this he thought to himself. Both of them in the small space barely fit and it was this or standing next to Sakurama. that would go against Sakurama's plan though, by not giving him a good view as the man said.
"You are the weirdest human out there, you know. And I have dealt with that Suzukiri broad."
The man had folded all the white Ranger gear on a basket and had his turned to his companion. His hand slid on the tops of his hips taking hold of the final piece of clothing left on his body.
"Don't say that about Suzukiri-san. Besides you need to see something before replicating it, correct. And the faster you can look completely human the better. Plus I had to wash up anyways from the long day and all that dust you spread around." D narrowed his eyes in suspicion of the young mans tone. The thing he did not see was the nervous swallow, the red face. Neither did he hear the madly racing heart in Hibikis chest as he lowered his underwear making him bare before another man. "It is not like you can go out to look at people, and mannequins don't have human features..."
"I could just study a picture or two. I have used that for Reds face."
"Wh..whhaat."
Hibiki half turned towards the source of the revelation, his red all over face plain to see for the kaijin.
"But looking at how complex all that looks I would actually better take advantage of a 3d example." D didn't look up or at Hibikis face or even chest. He looked downwards, right at the freshly naked body. "Hair is on thing, but.." D stared strangely calm, squinting and holding his chin while Hibiki burned. "Hey, hey! Should I copy it as it is floppy or all up and firm? Or does that thing move around like that all the time?"
Not standing this embarrassment, the feel of the stare touching his crotch and body in general, the recruit jumped into the tiny shower. The fear, the anxiety was what made him hard. Yes, that is what this is. Stumbling he turned the cold water knob till its maximum and ice started raining down on him as his heart hurt, stabbed and beat in a bout of insanity. All under a watchful eye that he brought on himself.
"Ah, so moving it is. Up twitch and down swing".
The first day of them bringing a peaceful coexistence to this world ran its cource.
