Work Text:

Touya never had a cold before. Or a fever. He barely had any sicknesses, only infections. It makes sense, he has cold resistance after all. Sometimes he's out in the open with a short-sleeved t-shirt when it's snowing.

Keigo and he once went on a small trip to Hokkaido to see the high snow. It was amazing but very cold. The hero had two jackets on, two pairs of pants, and pullovers. But Touya? He had a thin jacket over a t-shirt and ripped jeans.

Now, Keigo...He was a busy person. Doing hero work here, saving people there, doing office stuff that. And Touya's clingy. He would never admit it but he's very clingy. Clingy for Keigo.

He would wait for his boyfriend at their shared apartment, food would be ready just to be heated and he would already be in his pajamas after he had taken a shower. Sometimes he would already prepare everything if he's horny and wants sex.

It's not unusual whenever Keigo comes home at nine or ten pm. Sometimes even 11 pm. But it was already two am in the morning and Touya never once got a message, or call, or neither did he know of any mission or meeting Keigo would've needed to go to.

It wasn't until he finally got a call from Rumi, their best (childhood) friend and the only other person to know of their secret and forbidden hero-villain relationship

"Oi, Burnflake, Chicken is sick. Want me to bring him to your apartment?" She asked, immediately after Touya picked up the phone.

"He's sick?" The villain asked, nonchalantly. "Cold. Might turn into a fever, now say yes or no, stupid Burnflake!" Rumi replied. Touya just sighed, especially at that nickname.

Ever since Rumi knows that he's the villain Dabi, she calls him Burnflake. An "updated" version of the old nickname Snowflake he was always called by her and their old (favorite) senpai Kaina.

"Yeah, bring him here. I'll take care of him." Touya said. "Alright, see ya, Touya!" She then replied, nicely. "See you." He simply responded and then hung up.

After about 30 minutes, the doorbell rang and Touya opened the door just to see a drunken-looking Keigo on the back of an exhausted-looking Rumi.

"When...did this Chicken get so...heavy? And his wings...were such an annoyance when...getting him here...Also...good that there has recently been...an elevator built into the stairwell...why do you guys live on the...55th floor, huh?" Rumi rambled in a breathy, panting voice.

Touya laughed at that as he took Keigo into his arms. "You know how Kei is with high floors. Feel free to eat the carrots and drink the drinks we have, Rumi." The villain said as he carried Keigo to the bedroom. "Now that's a good payback!" The female hero shouted as she closed the door and went to the kitchen island.

Touya laid Keigo on the bed and started to undress his hero costume. Once Keigo was exposed except for his undergarments, Touya put on his pajamas. After he was finished he laid down besides Keigo, leaning slightly over him.

Starting to stroke the hero's cheek, he slowly whispered with a gentle, loving voice into his ear: "Wake up, Dove." It took some tries but Keigo eventually woke up and yawned, feeling weak. "Tou..?" He asked, his voice a bit slurred.

"That's me." The villain replied and kissed his boyfriend's hot forehead. "I think this is a fever already..." Touya muttered as he put his hand on the hero's forehead. He wanted to get a thermometer, but as he stood up, Keigo held him by his shirt with a weak grip. "Don't leave..." He said, his voice wobbly.

Touya chuckled. "Don't worry, Dove. I'm just getting a thermometer, alright? I'll be back in less than a minute." He said, convincing his boyfriend to let go. "Mm..okay...Firefly..." He said, awfully tired.

The villain soon came back with a thermometer and...39 degrees Celsius was the result. That was definitely a high fever. "Poor you...I'm gonna go and get a wet towel, okay?" This time, Keigo didn't respond, he just nodded and smiled. He doesn't care how he feels, as long as he can stare into those beautiful cerulean-blue eyes.

Touya came back with a small bowl filled with endurable cold water (he needed Rumi's help to determine whether it was durable enough or not since it didn't feel cold to him) and a wet towel. He wrung it out before leaning over his boyfriend again.

He started to go over Keigo's forehead, arms, legs, chest, and stomach. At first, the hero always flinched at the cold touch but soon adapted to it. Touya hummed a melody while cooling his boyfriend.

"I love you..." Keigo said, nonchalant but tired. "I love you too. How about you rest a bit?" The villain suggested. "But...with you." The hero slurred. "Yeah, don't worry. I'm not going anywhere." He said.

After Touya had finished and dried Keigo, he put the bowl to the side and got out a package of powdered ibuprofen. Keigo frowned. Medicine is bitter after all. "Don't worry, Kei, it's not bitter. It's a bit sour and sweet." Touya said and the frown immediately faded away. He believes everything his boyfriend says when he's this gentle and loving.

Keigo is always proud to be able to see Touya like this. Most just know him as the intimidating, scary villain Dabi. But the hero also knows him as Touya. Sweet, loving Touya.

After Keigo took the medicine, the villain laid down beside him. The hero wasted no time and immediately wrapped his arms and legs around his lover, aggressive and possessive but in a healthy, loving way, spooning him.

"If you get me sick too, you'll regret it," Touya said, jokingly. "Then you'll stay longer with me..." Keigo murmured, burying his head into his boyfriend's neck, softly kissing it, being as careful as possible due to the scars.

"...Rest well, Kei," Touya said, turning around to give his boyfriend one more forehead kiss.
"Thank you, Tou..." Keigo replied as he continued to cuddle him.
(Touya got sick too.😃👍)
