Chuuya is a new member to the Port Mafia, he is here since a bit, a group of people made him join the friend group so he isn't alone.
He didn't wanted to have friends, he wanted to leave this place but he couldn't. He wanted to protect the Sheep.
Today, he is walking home, alone, even shittyzai didn't bothered to annoy him today. He didn't knew what was up with him but.. He didn't care, he was pleased about it.
When he was about to enter his apartment, he felt something was off.
He decided to try checking the window to see if anything was unusual but the lights were off, everything seemed normal.
He then went to open his door and enter, when he turned the lights on.
He felt very much happy from what he saw.
His friends, well the people who consider themselves his friends, all here, in his apartment, yelling "Happy birthday" to him.
He doesn't remember the last time his birthday was celebrated. He didn't even remember he had one until today.
Even Dazai was there, even if he didn't appreciate being here very much.
Everyone had a gift for Chuuya, the first one to give his was Albatross, the one who invited him to join his friend group.
Chuuya sat down on the sofa, he didn't know what to do, so his friends had to tell him to open his gift.
Which he did open, Albatross' gift was key cars, why would he be in need of it ? Does that mean he received a car ?
Piano Man was the second to give a gift, when Chuuya opened the gift he did like he was very much happy when in reality he didn't even know what he just got....
Doc was the third one to give a gift to Chuuya, he gave him a puppy plush.
Chuuya tried to not smile but instead, he cried of happiness, it was the cutest plush ever. How did they knew so much about him already with this less time passing with each other ?
Ice Man gave Chuuya a box of cigarettes, it was candies tho instead of real cigarettes. Chuuya was a bit of confused about it but.. He appreciated the gift.
Lippmann gave him a tons of skin care objects, tho he told him that most of it was at his place and that he will give all of it and too explain to him the next day.
Dazai didn't wanted to give his gift yet, he wanted everyone to leave Chuuya’s apartment.
Why would this bastard want to be alone with Chuuya ? Except annoying him, Chuuya didn't know.
It was now the time to blow the candles, Chuuya waited for the cake that Lippmann himself made, it was Chuuya’s favorite flavor too, how did they know so much about him ?
Albatross took a picture of Chuuya blowing out his candles on his cake, writing the date of it, 29th of April.
Actually, he took a picture of Chuuya opening his gifts too, tho when he took Albatross' gift, it's actually Piano Man who took the picture.
But this is not an important detail anymore now, The Flags and Dazai prepared activities for the whole night, like a Karaoke and too some video games competition between two people..
There was too a blindtest, Albatross recognized most of the songs that was proposed, he was very much proud of himself at this moment. So proud that he went to drink alcohol to the point of getting dizzy but not enough to pass out.
The others were already tired of him, especially since the Karaoke was a pain in the ass to listen when it was his turn.
At the video games competition, Dazai won mostly of the games, but he was cheating. At least that's what Chuuya thinks.
At some point, Lippmann asked Chuuya what did he wish when blowing out his candles, he thought Chuuya would have answered like other people with a "It's a secret otherwise it won't happen"
But instead, Chuuya looked at him with a confused look, that's when everyone understood that he didn't remember anything about birthdays.
So they made him blow out candles again, this time explaining what to do.
Chuuya understood and quickly made a wish, blowing out the candles after.
His wish ? Oh no, it's a secret.
Chuuya was happy of this night with his friends, so when they had to leave he was sad.
Plus now he was alone with the bastard.
He approached Dazai, standing in front of him, he asked what was his gift now.
And his response was a soft and quick kiss on the lips, then Dazai ran away outside.
Chuuya was blushing a lot at this moment.
When he calmed himself down, he cleaned up his apartment, even tho it was almost perfect since Lippmann already had done most of the job..
Chuuya then went to change himself into his pajamas, cuddling a big pillow in his bed.
He went to sleep easily that night.
Like how easy he woke up today.
Today, he is turning 20.
No one knows it except close ones, like Kouyou or... Akutagawa.
His day was like usual, working all day until stressed out and going home.
He just wanted to go back the day he turned 16.
The day he wished for that day to never end.
He now wish to go back to this time, where his friends were alive and that he remembered that he had a birthday.
Then a loud knock made him go out of his thoughts, he went to open the door to just find a bouquet of flowers with a box.
He looked around to see if there was anyone and then took the flowers and box inside..
He had an idea of who could have gave it to him. He didn't wanted to jump into conclusions tho.
He opened the box, finding a new dog collar to wear, he softly smiled at the joke even if he was annoyed by it.
He exactly knew who it was. Except this person, he didn't see them since 2 years. He just wanted to know if he was still alive. Now he knew.
He wanted this person with him right now, he's been alone since a while now. Even if he hated that person, his presence could make him happy.
And now, at 22 years old.
He wears the dog collar, it's his 6th birthday, well that he remembers.
He is in front of his friends' graves. They're with flowers, it's raining today..
He is talking about his day, knowing no one is listening to him.
He never wanted to be 16 again this bad.
He wanted to be held by his friends again, but they couldn't hold him.
So another person did.
Chuuya let go of his umbrella when he felt someone hugging him from behind.
He was happy and.. Angry.. Because he didn't had any good interaction with that person in 4 years.
But he couldn't help himself but melt into the touch.
He doesn't want this day to end. But at the same time, he wants it to end.
