   Summary

   When the Federation Starship U.S.S. Voyager encounters a dangerous spatial anomaly while traveling in the Delta Quadrant, Starfleet Ensigns Tabitha Paige and Edward Walker are thrown into a time and place that resembles the 12th-century Levant on Earth. Cut off from their ship indefinitely and their resources limited, the two friends must find a way to survive in what soon appears to be their permanent new home. Together, they slowly come to appreciate this old world they've found, realizing there is much more to life than the science and technology that previously made up the very fabric of their existence.
