A Selkie's Coat

Summary:

A selkie wearing another selkie's coat is the equivalent of a wedding ring and showing off your marriage, but Yuu finds Adrian's coat to be so soft and nice that Adrian just lets them wear it

(He also likes seeing them in it)

Notes:

(See the end of the work for notes.)

Work Text:

Ever since the two were able to find it, Yuu has found Adrian's coat to be delightful.

It was so smooth and yet so soft. Their fingers would glide over its surface so easily. It was cool to the touch but was warm enough to wear out. It even had a slight sheen to it, the coat looked like it glowed like the moon at night. It really did suit Adrian.

They figured that it would be improper for a human to wear a selkie's coat, they surmised as such with the histories between human and selkie. But Adrian didn't put up any protests when he saw them trying it on. In fact he looked rather red by the sight. He had the nerve to cover his face! Perhaps it was just that amusing in his eyes.

:・゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・. :・゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・.:

"Yuu?"

"Hm? What is it, Lee?"

A pause followed, the much taller man at loss for words (a rare sight), "Why are you wearing that?"

"This?" Yuu tugged the shoulder of the coat, which draped over their body like a curtain, "It just feels nice to wear! And it is getting colder."

"And does Adrian..." Yuu nodded, "Ah."

"I think he finds it quite nice on me!" The younger human turned their body so Lee could see more of the coat on them. They whispered in a hushed voice, "I've seen him looking at me whenever I'm wearing it. He smiles."

"Smiles."

"Mhmm!"

"... I see then."

:・゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・. :・゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・.:

"I don't think I'll ever get that guy!" Yuu took out their anger on the poor weeds in the doctor's garden.

"Lee?" Adrian raised the bucket so Yuu could could trash them.

"Yes, him! He’s always talking in... in riddles!"

"About what?"

Yuu huffed, "The coat! He was asking me about it."

"... Oh," was all Adrian could muster to say.

"Huh?"

Thinking about it, Adrian wasn't too good in his words either. But at least he had the excuse that he was still learning the language. It still managed to prickle Yuu's nerves however. Adrian didn't say anything. So their nerves became ignited.
"What? Is it bad for me to be wearing it?" Yuu still did not know much about the culture of selkies, even less about the fae. While Adrian had always been patient with them, they still worry that they were still overstepping his boundaries. Especially since members of Adrian's pod were coming to visit him soon, "I'm really sorry if you’re just putting up with it…”

“N-No! It’s fine.”

"Just fine..?

"I like... seeing you in it."

“Really?” Adrian gave a small nod. That was enough to settle Yuu’s nerves for the moment, “Alright then.”

Yuu stood up, ending their reign of terror on the weeds that littered Dr. Wagner’s garden, they brushed off the dirt that accumulated on their sleeves, “Still, I don’t know why Lee was so… aghast by it.”

“What is ‘aghast’?” Ah, right. Adrian was still learning.

“It’s like ‘surprised’!”

“…”

Yuu pouted. It was as intimidating to him as a small fish, “Can I at least know what type of message I’m sending with it?”

Adrian took a pause, “It’s like… closeness.”

“Closeness?” Yuu huddled down to meet Adrian at eye level, whispering, “Like, like lovers..?”

“Yes.”

Yuu’s eyes widened, now lacking the strength to look Adrian in the eye. Even like this, he still managed to make dangerous hits to their heart. Pink painted their face, “That makes sense now…”

“You, you don’t have to wear it. If it makes you—“

“No! No, I’ll wear it. Because that’s what we are!”

Adrian didn’t say anything, but his flushed expression betrayed his lack of words. But he was truly happy.

:・゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・. :・゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・.:

Half of a moon had passed, it was now the night when Adrian’s pod would come visit the shore to see them. Adrian was wearing the coat now, with it reaching to his toes compared to how it would drag behind whenever Yuu would wear it. Dr. Wagner—the man who took Adrian, Lee, and Yuu in—Adrian, and Yuu waited with bated breath.

“Oh! I see something!” Yuu immediately jumped onto their feet, pointing to the glowing ripples. Then came a white seal breaking the surface. And several others followed suit.

When the last few ones settled, Adrian made his approach to the pod. With Yuu’s hand in his. Dr. Wagner trailed behind them.

They found themselves to be surrounded by selkies, all staring at the the three. In front of them was a larger seal who had an air of what Yuu could only describe as nobility to him, with how he perched so tall.

Adrian lowered his head, and the two humans followed the action. Yuu still caught a glimpse of the white light coming from the selkie in front of them. He was removing his coat and taking on human form. When the light faded, they looked up to face him. He had the same ocean blue eyes as Adrian, although now aged with his wrinkles and crow's feet around the edge. Unlike Adrian's red locks, his was a bright, almost blinding white. His hair fell down to his now human feet in swirling waves. He took a step towards Adrian and leaned in to press his forehead with Adrian's. A selkie introduction, something Yuu learned.

"Yuu, this is my father," Adrian whispered, hand still cradling theirs. Yuu could only make a small sound in response. The selkie leader leaned down to press his forehead on Yuu's. They learned that selkies in general were cold to the touch.

He made his way to Dr. Wagner, who chuckled, "Oh gosh! You don't have to do something like that for lil' old me." Adrian and Yuu just stared at him. The doctor really does march to the beat of his own drum, even in front of the fae.

:・゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・. :・゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・.:

Sidon, Adrian's father, insisted that he stayed over the doctor's alms house to observe how his son's life on land was going. Yuu made it their mission to not embarrass themself in front of him, especially after learning that he was the pod's leader. Adrian insisted that his father has accepted their relationship, but Yuu still wanted to look their best.

They both learned that Sidon had some knowledge in the English language, with Adrian looking nearly horrified when Sidon confessed that he used to "fool around" with human women in his youth. But thanks to that, Sidon wasn't too alienated about living on the surface world. He didn't even look too phased by the doctor's shenanigans.

That was until he saw Yuu in the coat.

They were just taking a small break in the living room, wearing Adrian's coat as a blanket while they snacked. Adrian was actually the one who gave it to them when they were leaving the clinic. Sidon's composure broke at the sight, his face incredulous and intense.

"Sir?" Adrian didn't have a last name so they resorted to the title, "Are you alright?"

Sidon stayed silent. It clicks that it had to be the coat for Yuu, "Are you looking," Yuu pointed at the white fur that covered their body, "at this?"

He nodded, "Oh! I did not steal it from him," Yuu asserted, although their smile faltered to a forced grin. They knew that it was a common fear among the selkies that humans would steal their coats to coerce them into marriage. Although Adrian insisted to his pod that he wanted to live on land for his own choice, Yuu could tell that many remained skeptical, "He actually gave it to me... if you were scared about that."

"He gave you. It."

"Yes!"

Sidon glanced at the coat again, then to Yuu, "I talk to him."

And just like that, he left. Yuu hoped that he didn't get the wrong idea. They would never steal something so important from him.

:・゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・. :・゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・.:

"Why was your human wearing your coat?" Adrian nearly spat out his drink. He tried to regain his composure, but his face was still a bright red.

"Did you..?" Adrian's words fell to a pause, far too on edge to risk saying anything.

"Yes. They were wearing it right out in the open. They insisted that you gave it to them," Sidon crossed his arms.

Adrian's lack of a response was everything he needed, "I am glad that they did not take it from you."

"Do you think they can steal anything?"

"Not at all," the human named Yuu was far too... easily prickled to be bold enough to steal from the fae. But even they managed to surprise him with such a stunt, "I know you said that you loved them, but I'm. Surprised."

"They don't know any better!"

"You haven't told them about what that would mean?" Sidon’s sternness gave way to unadulterated surprise.

Adrian looked away, ”I… said it was for lovers. They know that.”

”You should know that it means far more than that.” Sharing and giving coats was far more than just an act of love. It meant a dedication above all else. A promise to be together no matter what came at them. The closest human equivalent would be a ring.

”Of course I do! They just… really like it.”

”Why haven’t you told them.”

Adrian’s face, once flustered and red which competed with his own red locks, gave way to… a smile. A smile he couldn’t force away. Just a blithely grin combined with a bright flush of red. Sidon didn’t know what to say.

Perhaps his son did inherit his old habits, ”Still, please tell—“

”I-I will. Don’t worry about that.”

・゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・. :・゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚

“Adrian, I’m so sorry! Your father just showed up at the door and saw me in the coat! I think that well, he thinks that I stole it from you,” Yuu stammered. They still weren’t used to interacting with fae folk, besides Adrian.

“Yes, he… talked to me about that.”

“Oh. I hope he was able to understand.”

“Mm…”

Yuu couldn’t hide their shock, “Did it go badly?! Should I talk to him instead, I really tried my best to tell him that you gave it to me.”

“N-No. He knows I gave it to you.”

Yuu stared at him, “That’s good then..? Isn’t it? He does know that we’re… you know.” Just what happened between the two?

“It’s not that! It’s just… I need to tell you something.”

“You can tell me anything,” Yuu peered up at him with big eyes. Such an innocent look was enough to drive Adrian mad.

“The coat… Wearing my coat like that is…”

Yuu gazed at him with such intent. Oh, he was going to regret saying what he was going to say, “It’s more than just. Lovers.”

“What do you..?” Adrian didn’t know if it was better that Yuu didn’t immediately catch on.

“It’s for… marriage.”

Oh.

゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・. :・゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・.:

Lee and Sidon finally had some time to talk. Lee was the product of a selkie and human union. But once his mother found her coat, she immediately returned to the depths of the sea. Leaving him behind. Hybrids like him were not born with their own coats, yet their hearts yearned for the sea as well. It truly was turmoil in the heart.

“So you haven’t seen anyone like her?” Lee held out an old photograph, the only remnant of his mother that he had. The only reason he hasn’t forgotten her face.

“Not a human like her. Maybe as, seal.”

Lee mumbled something under his breath, “I think her coat was a dark umber.”

“No,” while Lee was used to such words, that didn’t stop from it being like a knife to his chest. He should’ve thought as such. Everyone in Adrian’s pod was a gleaming white, if not a pure white then they were speckled. Not like his mother, “I am sorry.”

“Don’t be, I figured that would be the case.”

Sidon stayed silent. He heard of many experiences selkies had with humans, just like Lee’s mother. Adrian’s was a special case, which he was forever thankful for, “I hear south waters have darker coats.”

Lee’s eyes betrayed his cool demeanor, “Really? Just how south?”

“Where it is warmer. It is far. No one from our pod see them for centuries.”

Lee was quiet for a few moments, “I see.”

The two stayed at a hush for a while. It wasn’t likely that Lee would ever gather the funds to make such an arduous sailing trip to the “southern waters” Sidon described. Even then. Would he be able to bear the chance of rejection? Maybe just knowing that she could have made it home was enough. Maybe.

“… I know having half of fae blood is hard for you.”

Lee looked at him with such hurt.

“But we can teach you our life.” And so Lee’s breath nearly stopped.

“Really? Even, even after I,” Lee gulped, “Even after I took his coat..?“

“Yes.”

゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・. :・゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・.:

Yuu’s fists were making quick thumps at Adrian’s chest, he could barely feel them making impact, “You… You demon!” Well, fae and demons did have their similarities, “Why didn’t you tell me until now?!”

Adrian couldn’t make any sort of retort, he just grimaced, “And, and you father saw me wear it! And that’s why Lee was so shocked! You’re evil!”

“You just—“

“What?!”

“You just looked so happy in it.”

Oh, that does it. Yuu’s thumping became rapid pace, and even more soft, “You knew that and how people would react, and you kept on smiling like an idiot!” They stopped their barrage of “attacks” and gripped onto Adrian’s shirt collar, “Smiling like…”

(Oh, how he looked so happy whenever he saw them in it)

“Like a pervert!” Adrian always managed to reduce Yuu to a tiny kid.

“I-I’m sorry! I should have told you,” Adrian was yelling, but it lacked any sort of bite that Yuu wasn’t phased, “But, I,” Adrian couldn’t stop his stammering, “I loved seeing you in it.”

Yuu stood on the tips of their toes and gave his sharp nose and pinch, “Perv!”

“Do you not want to marry..?” he breathed. And all attacks ceased. Adrian just looked so… crumpled, as if their hits were doing something to him. His eyes wavered. Like he was pained. Yuu couldn’t continue when he looked like that. They couldn’t muster any bravado to keep up their anger.

“N-No, but I can’t just—“ Their feet slid on Adrian’s coat. Yuu slipped onto Adrian’s chest, they were right against him after all. And the two fell onto the floor with a loud thud.

゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・. :・゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・.:

“I don’t know how to thank you, sir.”

“You don’t have to.”

Lee couldn’t resist his grin any longer. Finally, a— Thud!

Sidon and Lee snapped to look at each other. And immediately ran off to find the source of that sound. It sounded like it was downstairs, maybe in the living room.

And what they saw was. Something.

Yuu was practically straddling Adrian at his waist. And Lee definitely caught a glimpse of Yuu holding Adrian by the collar. Oh. Oh no. Lee pulled out the dagger he always kept on his belt side. Sidon just stood still in the hall, not daring to enter the room.

“It’s not what it looks like!” Yuu was the one who broke the silence, “Adrian here,” they take a moment to point at his face, “Is the perv!” Bad choice of words.

“Excuse me..?” Was all Lee could say.

“Yes! He was the one talking about—“ Yuu’s words quickly become a muffled noise when Adrian covered their mouth with his palm. Lee didn’t know how to point his knife at. It took Yuu all of their strength to release Adrian’s grip, “He was the one talking about getting married!”

Huh.

Adrian let out a snarl and grabbed Yuu’s ankle and lifted them up by the limb as if they weighed nothing. He even gave them a few shakes to make them stop talking. Yuu couldn’t stop barking out petty insults at him. Then Adrian saw his father right outside, ”F-Father, I—“

”I did not mean to interrupt.” Adrian could feel his pride shatter just like that.

“Oh, that’s it!” Yuu yelled at the top of their lungs, maybe it was because they were up being held upside-down or maybe they were blushing that hard, but their face felt unbearable. They managed to waggle their leg to get out of Adrian’s grip, falling onto their back. They scrambled to stand up and gripped onto the coat’s sleeves, “I’m, I’m keeping this! You’re not getting it back! Ever!”

“Wait, Yuu! Your back, we should tell the—” Yuu’s angered face was enough to make Adrian back off, “Yuu…”

Yuu ran off, trying to dodge the looks of a very incredulous Adrian, Lee, and Sidon. Just what was that jerk thinking!?

゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・. :・゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・.:

“Yuu~” Lee knocked the door to Yuu’s bedroom a third time, “It’s breakfast, come on!”

Yuu didn’t budge out of bed, still wrapped up in the selkie coat. But this giant just keeps on trying to drag them out of their room. “It’s your favorite. Crepes!” They budged and walked to their door, but didn’t unlock it.

“Adrian—“

“Don’t.”

“He’s not in the kitchen. I think he’s fishing with his old man. Guess he just likes tuna more than human stuff.”

Silence followed.

“It really is a shame. I made extras just for them! But I guess I’ll just throw them all—“

The door opened, “You better not be lying.”

“Oh, I wouldn’t dare.”

゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・. :・゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・.:

While lacking his coat, Adrian still was an excellent swimmer, even in his human form. He took in the cold water that enveloped his being. Hoping that it would… cool down his emotions at least. Sadly, he couldn’t hold his breath for as long, so he surfaced with a fish in his mouth. He saw his father in his seal form, who was taking in the morning sun’s rays on a cluster of rocks. With there being a noticeable stack of fish on one of the pillars.

”Feeling any better now?” Adrian threw his fish at the rock his father was on, ”Ah, you are still a pup.”

”Just be quiet already!”

゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・. :・゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・.:

Adrian went through the trouble to go into the human town nearby the alms house for a gift, “Yuu.” He said in a curt voice, holding out the small pastry box in front of their (unamused) face, they were still in his coat. “Here.”

Yuu didn’t reply for a moment. Staring at his gift, “How do I know this isn’t a marriage thing— Ack!“ Adrian gave them a swift finger flick to the forehead.

“I asked Lee to show me what you liked”

“You're siding with this, this liar, Lee?!”

"Don't drag me into this," Lee cursed at whatever god canceled his date plans for the day. Now he was practically babysitting.

“… I wanted to see my family today. But I couldn’t swim.”

Their tense expression immediately melted away to a wide-eyed concern, “Really? I'm so sorry—”

The human selkie's catty smirk told Yuu everything they needed to know, they gripped the sides of the coat in a tight hold. "You, you evil man! You can't just lie like that!"

"I just did."

゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・. :・゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・.:

"Do you think that..."

"Oh yeah, they're still mad."

"Most definitely." Adrian didn't know much about hell, but having your father talk to you about your relationship issues must be a torture they have there too.

Lee interjected, "Look, I'm not saying that Yuu is being mature about it but talk to 'em already. Your old man wanted to see you being happy here." The redhead didn't reply.

゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・. :・゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・.:

Thanks to the winter's chill coming in, wearing the selkie's coat constantly wasn't much of a bother to them. But it was hard to shake off the feeling that they were wearing a blanket where ever they went. They had to fight off the urge to just, lay around and do nothing every other hour. It just felt so nice.

Once they were done with their rounds in the alms house, Yuu found their way to the living room and to the recliner.

They still felt horrible about the whole ordeal. Guilt being a pang they have been trying to hide for the two days that followed after... that night. They were acting no different to a child, holding onto Adrian's coat. Something so precious to him, it being like his soul. But they couldn't just, let that evil man win. He allowed Yuu to embarrass themself like that for so long!

And to talk about being married like that...

Pondering like this wouldn't do any good, they still had other jobs to do for the day. So they should rest those thoughts away. An act far too easy for Yuu, the coat being too comfortable for words.

They were sleeping so well that their ears did not catch the sound of Adrian's footsteps approaching them.

゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・. :・゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・.:

Yes, Adrian gave in. He was looking for Yuu.

He didn't know what to say to them. No gift seemed to work. Or even lying. He already tried talking to them during... that night, but everything just got so. Chaotic. That was the only word he could find. But now it just seemed impossible, not with Yuu constantly running off to do any job Dr. Wagner had. But he really did miss them.

He just wanted to go back to when they explored Almeda town.

And then he found them. Sound asleep in the selkie coat. His coat. He walked over to the recliner and kneeled down to get a closer look. He couldn't resist.

Yes, seeing them wrapped up in his coat made him so happy. Like they were

his

. But Yuu wouldn't like that thought, would they.

゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・. :・゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・.:

"No, no... I don't want," Yuu muttered something as they woke up, probably something from their dream. And they wondered if they were still dreaming when their eyes met Adrian's

"Adrian?!"

"Yuu!"

They both backed away in surprise, "I," The human was still hazy, "Just how long were you here?"

"I just got here," Yuu furrowed their brow, "... A few minutes. I didn't want to wake you."

Yuu didn't say anything. Adrian looked down to the floor, "... You've been doing so much lately. You must be tired."

They allowed the quiet to settle in before speaking, "Yeah, kind of."

"I can do those jobs, Yuu."

"I don't think the doctor would let you in the garden without me. Not after you plucked out all of the viable veg instead of weeds."

"That was weeks ago!"

They couldn't stop themself from giggling, "Still!" That might have been the angriest they've seen Dr. Wagner, and they've been under his care for ten years. He even struck Adrian with his cane, "We only had porridge for that week!"

"I know now."

"Sure, sure~" Ah, they really did miss this. And it had only been two days. When their laughing settled down, the silence weighed down on them. They really hated all of these, *emotions*.

"I guess I just," Yuu was the one to break, "I just didn't want to see you. I'm really sorry."

"Yuu," Adrian said their name so easily, like it was as simple as breathing. Like their name was his air.

"Yeah, I've been really stupid about all of this. I'm so sorry, Adrian."

Adrian's brows furrowed in frustration, mostly directed at himself, "No, I. I should have told you about the coat sooner. I-I..." he trailed off. But Yuu could read what he couldn’t say.

I loved seeing you wear it. Like we were mates.

His face was such a tender shade of pink. It decorated the points of his ears, to his cheeks, and met at his nose. His lip quivered even, frustrated by his own lack of words.

"Do you, do you really want to get married?"

"Yuu?!" That was the cause of all of this, wasn't it? Just why was he getting so shy now?

But even Yuu knew the absurdity of their words. They had known each other for four months now. But Adrian was the only person Yuu has felt this way towards. They didn't reply, waiting for Adrian to finally say something.

"... Yes. As my mate." Yuu was fully expecting that answer but that still didn't stifle the feeling of blood tickling their face, "But, but you don't want to. Right?" And that was like a dagger to Yuu's heart. Maybe Lee was the cause of that.

"What?! I do! But," even they were surprised by how easily the words came to them, "but I can't."

Adrian's stern look could not hide just how... hurt he looked. His eyes were always his tell. They had qualities that Yuu could only describe as oceanic. Right now, they looked like the seas during a storm. In turmoil.

Yuu whispered, "Were you... not talking to me because I rejected you?"

"And you made me look like a fool in front of my father."

"You were the one who picked me up by the leg!"

"You're too light! You should be eating more."

"*Adrian*."

“I am right.” Yuu stifled the urge to give him another barrage of thumps. But that may just encourage him further.

“But still, I. I didn’t mean to reject you. I didn’t know that you were… serious about that.” They have been catching onto the idea that fae-folk had a much more different concept of romance and love, but never thought about how Adrian would have them too. He was just a man to Yuu. A magical one, yes. But just Adrian, “I never thought about marriage like that.”

“How long does it take for humans to marry..?”

“Mm… Three years?”

“… What? It takes half a year for us to court.”

Yuu felt their head spin, “I-I didn’t realize you thought of us so seriously.”

“Was I not supposed to?”

“N-No, just!” Yuu stammered, “Love for humans is a lot more, complicated.” That was something Adrian was still getting used to.

“I see,” and both of them went quiet.

Yuu gulped, balling up their fists, “It’s just that, I won’t be able to stay here for any longer. I want to do my own things in the future.”

Yuu paused, “To be an adult. It’s just. Very soon for me to be thinking about things like that.”

The human took another breath, “Would you be okay, waiting for me?” The red on their was near unbearable.

Adrian froze, his eyes wide. He breathed, “Of course, Yuu.”

“What if we… fell out of love.”

“It would hurt.”

Yuu didn’t know how to reply, stuck in their thoughts. That was until they felt another flick to the forehead, “Ow!”

“You’re thinking too much, again," Adrian caressed their cheek. Then laid a small peck.

"Adrian!" Another one followed. Soon the left side of their face was under barrage of light kisses. Was this his own form of revenge against their fists? They couldn't stop giggling, feeling as light as air, "Stop that already!"

Adrian planted his arm onto the sofa's surface and made his way so he was now positioned on top of Yuu, nuzzling his nose into their black hair, "Give me back my coat."

"Make me!"

His cascade of pecks then escalated into him making bites at their cheek. He did not put any force into his jaws, so it hardly felt any different from a light pinch. He kept his free hand, the one not balancing him on the cramped space, on the other side of their face to hold them in place. Yuu had start hiccupping because of how much they were laughing now. A noise he had become to love, "You reject me and now you won't let me have my skin. You're cruel."

"The cruelest!" They put some haught into their laugh this time. With weak hands, they tried to push Adrian off, but to no avail.

Just how far would Adrian have go if they didn't hear the wooden planks at the entrance creak. Lee froze in place.

"... You two finally made up."

Adrian pushed himself off of Yuu and gave chase to the now sprinting Lee. Red was the only word that could describe whatever was racing in his mind. Yuu found themself to be planted on that couch, clutching onto Adrian's coat in a frozen shock. That evil man.

゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・. :・゚✧:・.☽˚。・゚✧:・.:

Lee walked into their quarters, paper in hand, "Guys, the doctor wants us to pick up an order down in Almeda. Let's go."

His order was met with silence, with Adrian and Yuu glaring daggers at him. Thankfully he was sturdy.

"It's been three days, come on."

The two stood up and walked past Lee.

"Oh, come on!"

Adrian and Yuu did whatever they could to not laugh as they stomped off.

Notes:

Someone help these idiots

Anyways the big evil of this story is Lee and Sidon who refuses to mind his own business
