Bruce Wayne, Jim Gordon and Harvey Bullock. They stood and looked at the two foxes. They were the Valeski brothers.
— This fox looks like a doll... he's too disheveled..
Harvey was talking about Jerome. He had a hard coat, and the fur on his muzzle looked like fake toy fur and a strange, sinister smile. Jerome stood motionless, and the second fox was lying under him. He looked much better and more beautiful. He had more fur than Jerome.
It was Jeremiah. The poor man was trembling with fear, and he whined incessantly.
Bruce frowned when he met Jerome's doll-like eyes. He really looked creepy. It's like it's a scarecrow and the fox under it is just grieving for a dead brother.
— What should we do now?
Jim and Harvey were silent. They don't know either. Jim narrowed his eyes at Jeremiah. Bruce sighed and looked at Jerome. Harvey also looked at this scarecrow out of curiosity.
Jerome was still staring at them, motionless. He probably didn't even blink.
There is a sigh from Jim Gordon. Harvey and Bruce looked at him.
— I think we need to get Jeremiah away from him.
After these words, Jerome shouted. The three men jerked in surprise and looked at the two foxes.
Jerome stood in a threatening position, his muzzle resting on Jeremiah's neck. He didn't take his eyes off them either. Jeremiah was still shaking and whining. He was wrapped in a ball, covering his muzzle with his tail. Bruce wanted to push this crazy fox away from his friend. But looking at Jerome, he gets goosebumps. Bruce wouldn't lie, Jerome really looked like a scarecrow. His smile is just scary..
— Jerome... quiet, no one wants to hurt you..
Jerome won't believe it. He doesn't trust people. Especially people like Gordon. He didn't understand the whole point of Jerome's case. He didn't understand him and he won't understand him now.
Jerome stuck out his tongue and started licking Jeremiah's neck. For what purposes, it is not known. Yes, Jim really didn't understand, although maybe instinct..?
— Why is he doing this? For what in general?
Jim doesn't answer. Bruce is surprised. Harvey doesn't understand.
Here, Harvey reached for the gun when Jerome suddenly started to move. He just lay down. He lay down next to Jeremiah while resting his head on his neck. He was still staring at the three people in the room.
— I feel like it's going to be fun..
