Work Text:
Furina packed her bags and then cringed at the thought of leaving the Palais Mermonia just yet, like a thief in the night making away with jewelry. It had been her home for so long, and she knew leaving while the people celebrated would be the most discrete, but...
But Furina was so tired - it had been a long, arduous day, and all she wanted was the soft comfort of a familiar bed, at least one time more, to rest her weary bones.
She nodded to herself, and then undressed, picking a pair of pajamas from her bag with nary a second thought. Logically, she should bathe, after being in all that water; emotionally, it seemed like it'd worsen her exhaustion. Therefore, she didn’t, dragging herself under the covers, asleep before her head hit the pillow.
She rose from bed before the sun did, feeling refreshed. She giggled to herself, and then jumped out of the bed, stretching languidly, satisfied with her dreamless sleep.
Alright - she could much better face the fallout of her actions like this, wide awake and bright. A bath, and then she was off to... Somewhere. Furina didn’t know yet - but she knew she’d be well.
