Jin's pov.
This has to be the longest day of the week. Being a teacher is so exhausting. Specially when teaching to teenagers. I have no idea how many of them were looking at their phones most of the time. Though sometimes I prefer that to other things they do...
I try not to think about it and just relax on my way back home. My feet hurt. I'm so tired. The moment I open the door I take off my shoes and throw myself on the couch.
Laying there a smile crosses my face. So comfy, I could fall asleep here if I just-
- Good night to you too baby. I had a great day! How about you?
I smile to myself hearing him and open my eyes.
- Sorry, I was going to go see you once I recover the energy
He doesn't have a smile but at least he's not annoyed. He even looks a little optimistic.
- Well, recover it quick, the guys are coming!
- How many?
Please let it be just one or two
- Five plus us. Wanna make some pizzas? They love your food!
- Can't we just ask delivery?
He already looks a little uncomfortable. I don't wanna have an argument.
- And ask them to pay for food? They are guests Jin! You're fast at it, just a few pizzas, okay?
- Okay, I'll go now
He recovers his mood when a message gets to his phone. He laughs and sits near me not paying much attention to me.
I get up and start cooking. Don't get me wrong I love doing this... it's just a little tiring. But what else can I do? We have to eat. So I have to do it. Yeah, there's no choice.
- Seeeriously Yoongs? C'mooon it's "Alphas night"!
He sends the audio and waits. I wish I had a group chat with friends. Jesus, I wish I had friends.
He plays an audio and I get to listen
- Well it's "boyfriend night" for me, so we're both going
- Suck it!
- Shhh Jimin I'm recording!
I try not to laugh in front of him. I guess Ken wasn't expecting to be insulted by an omega today
- God, this guy. Always with that jerk.
- You don't like his boyfriend?
- I haven't met him but I can tell he doesn't know his place
He sighs. I get it. He doesn't want others to interfere with his Alpha nights. That's why I usually leave the room when they come. But apparently today is a little different
- Jin, you're an omega
- Wow, you noticed
I joke but he just rolls his eyes. I'm an idiot he doesn't like me joking like that! Ugh, I have to stop doing that...
- Yeah, anyway, you should spend some time with Yoongi's boy. He might be irritating but you are patient. You can take it, right?
- Me? I don't even know the guy!
- Me neither! And I don't feel like it. You wanted an Omega friend, here it is!
I sense this is not the time for saying no. After all he won't want him around and he can't just leave him a side.
- Okay honey. But can I ask Tae to come too?
- Your cousin? Do you wanna just have an omega night?
He sighs and massages his temples. I don't insist. I simply wait until he finally talks again.
- Fine, but don't get in the middle of us okay?

I go for a short kiss but miss his lips. I guess kissing his cheek is good enough. I'm not complaining.
I go on cooking after sending Tae a message. He doesn't live exactly close and we don't see each other very often. But he's very important to me and it's always nice to see him again
He agrees to come as long as he can bring his kid and I accept immediately. I love my little... nephew? Not sure what the title is. But he's always welcome here. Which is rare from me. I never wanted kids, though I know eventually I'll have to have them.
For now, I'm lucky Ken hasn't mentioned it so I can still focus on...well... I'm not sure what I'm focused on right now.
I try my best to keep my eyes open and not burn the food. One by one his friends arrive. A small wave hello for me and a strong handshake for Ken. They laugh loudly drinking some beer while I feel the heat coming from the oven make me wanna go to our fresh room and rest.
When Tae comes I feel a little better. We catch on for a little bit while taking care of his kid, Soobin. It's a very calm night.
But then, someone else knocks on the door. And there, I meet him...
