Work Text:
"He could never forget the boy that blessed his life, even if he tried. He really did.
He wanted to forget every single memory they had together, the shared glances, the smiles they both had.
The feelings he had, which were just distant memories that haunted his life with a burning passion.
The funny thing was, he had actually forgotten that same boy for 27 years. The one he spent his childhood with. The one he had loved since time itself had begun.
Sure, it was derry, and richie had hated derry back then, still did now. But if he could go back, just to be the same small town boys back then with Eddie, he would have done anything to go home. Eddie was his home.
-
The moment penywise had stabbed eddie through the chest, a burning sensation made its way through richies.
It's like his lungs wouldn't work.
He stared into richies eyes, those still beautiful brown eyes, the ones he fell in love with so many years ago.
It was like God had painted that color in his eyes, just for richie to stare into. Eddie was richies angel, someone that had saved his life in multiple ways now.
He couldn't utter a word as he watched the boy infront of him slowly fade away, this angel of God infront of him. This boy was everything to him, and he needed him to stay.
But that was not God's plan.
The losers dragged him out of neibolt, his heart in his throat, he never would have left Eddie's side if they wouldn't have dragged him out.
One part of him wanted to stay by Eddie's side. By the angel of god."
