Chapter 1: 【VISITOR】
Chapter Text
Being home alone wasn't as bad as people thought it was. Yes, being home alone means that there's a chance that if you're not careful enough then someone could break into your house and strangle you. Being home alone means that anyone can knock on the door (or even your window) to lure you outside just so they can toss you over their shoulder and run off with you.
Being home alone means that you're alone, by yourself, without anyone to keep you company.
It wasn't your first time being left alone without your parents in the house. Throughout middle school, you had the option to either stay at home by yourself or be dropped off at your aunt's house the next street over and deal with your freak of a cousin who had a high chance of being a predator when he got older. You chose the safest option: Stay at home by yourself and walk yourself to the bus stop. Now, you are in 11th grade and your "Home Alone" situation has upped a notch. Your parents were going overseas and wouldn't be back until May 22nd, your Junior graduation ceremony. Which meant that you'd be home alone for approximately 2 weeks and 5 days! Pretty awesome, right?
Well, it's not all that awesome when you start missing having company over. Yeah, you can invite friends over but they can't stay with you until graduation. You wished they could...
You nearly jumped out of your spot on the couch when you heard a knock come from the front door. You stared at the door as you felt a sense of anxiety fill you. What if it's some creep trying to lure you out? Maybe you can just ask who it is—but what if they are trying to figure out if there is someone inside the house and break in?
You shook all of your anxiety off of you before reluctantly getting up from the couch and walking to the door. Your fingers grasp the doorknob after you unlock the door and slowly pull it open with a small creek.
"Nicole?" You say in slight confusion as you fully open the door. There was your friend, standing in front of you with an unbothered expression. Her arms were folded on top of each other as she stood there. "What are you doing here?"
"So—uhh—my mom threw a hissy fit and threw me out of the house and now I'm homeless," Nicole said nonchalantly. You blinked in shock at her words. You didn't know whether to be shocked at the fact that Nicole didn't seem to even worry about the fact that she got kicked out of her house or how her mom threw her out (which wasn't all that surprising.)
"Oh..."
"Yeah. Mind if I crash here for tonight? I don't feel like staying at some old guy's house not knowing how long my mom is planning on keeping me out." Nicole asked as she averted her gaze away from you.
"Did you ask Jecka? You usually stay over at her house." You said. What you said was true. Nicole did stay at Jecka's house when she and her mom got into it.
"Jecka was done with me coming to her house to stay over. To be honest, I think it's because I keep taking her Xanax. I don't even use it for anxiety or panic attacks I just take it to be taking it." Nicole explained plainly. You let out a sigh at Nicole's words. Classic Nicole...
"Oh, okay..." You muttered.
"So can I stay? You're like my last resort right now."
"Of course, you can stay. I don't need you getting picked up by a stranger and being put for sex trafficking." You obliged as you allowed Nicole to enter your home. "You haven't been out there long have you?"
"No, not really. Unless you want to count how long I begged for Jecka to allow me to stay. That bitch isn't helpful when you need her to be I swear." Nicole scoffed as she plopped on the couch, kicking off her shoes. "She used to be such a people pleaser but now she's more like a people displeasure."
Nicole didn't have anything with her. Not like she couldn't grab any of her belongings considering how her mom just threw her out of the house and onto the streets. You've been friends with Nicole for around 3 months now and you slowly learned about her background and you have to say that it is depressing as fuck. You found yourself not wanting Nicole to ruin herself more by her actions (which she hardly ever listens to) than the world already has. That's one of the reasons why you allowed her to come to your home. You don't want her catching herself in a situation where it could end horrifically bad. You'd hate yourself if you ever find out that something bad happened to Nicole—being one of the very few people she had in her life to actually take the time to mourn over her meant something big for you.
"I can put us some leftover pizza in the microwave if you want." You offered.
"Yeah, that'll be fine I guess. I also didn't bring anything with me." Nicole spoke bluntly as she lazily focused her eyes on the tv.
"That's okay. You can borrow some of my stuff for now. We'll have to see if we can maybe try to get some of your belongings from your house. Hell, maybe even sneak in." As you spoke you gathered two plates and opened the pizza box to reveal four slices of pizza. Two for you, two for Nicole.
"Hell yeah we do. That bitch isn't going to let us in. She would rather me rot on the street while she goes ahead and desperately tries to find a man who will actually fuck her." Nicole agreed.
Jesus christ, at least it's Friday. Two days are the weekend and then Monday rolls back around for school. Then on Tuesday you're off due to it only being staff that day. That leaves some free spots open for Nicole to get situated in your home for however long it takes.
Chapter 2: 【MAY 4TH (L A T E)】
Chapter Text
"Y/n, bitch wake up," Nicole said as she shook you awake. You let out a moan as you stirred awake, slowly sitting up in your bed.
"Mm, good morning..." You muttered tiredly, rubbing your eyes. "What time is it...?"
"Time to wake your ass up. Come on I'm starving. Y'know a skinny bitch like me can't live just off of Xanax and Pizza all day." Nicole replied in that same nonchalant tone that you were all too familiar with.
"Just make yourself some cereal..."
"I'm not just eating fucking oats Y/n. Damn, I can't have at least some sausage or even some French toast?"
"Then make it yourself, goddamn it."
"This is like the worst freeloading I've ever experienced."
"Then get out."
Well, that seemed to shut Nicole up. She knew that she can be a bitch sometimes—all the time—but she also had to keep in mind that you weren't like Emily, Jecka...Ari. You could practically drag her out of your house if you wanted to and she did not want that scenario to happen. The fact that you didn't tolerate her attitude and that made her feel some sort of way that she couldn't place her finger on herself.
She couldn't lie to herself that it wasn't hot though. Now that is indeed a fact.
"Fine, fine. Sorry, I guess?" Nicole's halfhearted apology was enough for you to let it go. You got yourself out of the comfort of your bed and made your way towards the kitchen with Nicole following behind you. "What are you doing? I said that I was going to make myself breakfast-"
"Who said that J was making you breakfast?" You cut her off. You flung open the pantry and took out a box of cereal, sitting that down on the counter alongside a plain white bowl and some milk.
"Well damn, harsh. Got my hopes up." Nicole said sarcastically as she crossed her arms. "What? Are you just going to make yourself a depressing bowl of Fruit Loops?" Nicole let out a scoff. She doesn't know why she kept pushing. Was it out of the fact that she wanted to harass you into making her breakfast or was it because she wanted to see what other snarky comment you'd make at her? Why did she care?
"With bacon and eggs." You added.
"Dear fucking god. So you're going to fry a whole pack of bacon and two eggs and just allow me to sit here and starve? What the fuck, Y/n!?" Nicole snapped. She heard you chuckle.
"Take your ass to the living room and sit down. Do that."
"How about I whack your fucking head with that frying pan?"
"How about you get out of those C cups?"
"Why the fuck did you go from telling me to sit my ass down in the living room to talking about my tits?"
"And why the fuck did you go from stomping you feet on my tiled floor in my kitchen over the fact that I ain't making you a bacon, egg, and fruit loop breakfast combo to whacking my head with my frying pan that my mama got from target?"
'And why the fuck are you so hot?' Nicole thought. She wanted to say that but she isn't that desperate. Wait, why was she even thinking that? God, why couldn't she just be a lesbian or something? If she were to be a lesbian you two probably wouldn't be over here fighting—you two could be making out on your leather couch for fucks sake. But was Nicole really ready for all that? I mean, Ari totally ruined the tryout on becoming a lesbo or whatever with her masochist bullshit.
Without another word Nicole made her way over to the couch where she slumped down upon. She turned on the tv, didn't even give a shit about what it was saying about the weather and just stared off into space. What else could she do? It's not like you'd call her in for breakfast at the table or anything—because you weren't making her shit! There wasn't no point in keeping an ear open if you weren't going to make her breakfast alongside yours. Hell, Nicole didn't even feel like making her own self breakfast at all. All that she could was just lay her head on the armrest of the couch and count fucking sheep.
You on the other hand were humming to yourself in the kitchen frying your bacon and eggs. Did you feel bad for not agreeing to make Nicole some breakfast? No. She's a big girl she can do it herself (if she even felt like it). Did all the things you said was just you pulling it out of your ass? No. You meant to say all of that. However, there is still one huge question that needs an answer. Well, maybe not an answer being put into words—through actions. Through something that you do with your limbs and not through your mouth.
Were you going to make her breakfast still?
"Nicole," you called out to her from the living room. Nicole lifted her head away from the armrest and watched as you gestured your head towards the marble kitchen table.
Her eyes flickered over to the table and slightly widened in shock.
"Time to eat." Was all you said before sitting your own meal on the table alongside hers.
Chapter 3: 【MAY 5 TH】
Chapter Text
"Nicole, how do you think this outfit would look on me?" You'd ask her.
"Fine, I guess?" She'd say.
That has to be the most repeated lie she has ever said to someone in her 16 (surprisingly) years living on this damned planet. No, you didn't just look "fine" in the outfits you had picked out in the mall. No, no, no. You looked hot as fuck. Whether it be you picking out the most casual outfit on the rack or you picking an outfit that looked flawless—you'll make it look even better. Even when it's something a homeless pedo would wear in an alley you made it look better. 10x better.
What would a two teenage girls do on a Sunday like this? They had money. They had a car. They also had the whole day to themselves. What could they possibly do?
Going to the fucking mall.
Who wouldn't just love the thought of going to the mall in the 2000s? A place where it had everything stocked up inside. From clothes to groceries, electronics to books—it is a one-stop place. A place where it's declared paradise. Teens go to the mall every single day. That's what they do! After school? Meet me at the mall! Over the weekend? We're going to the mall! Then there were the kids that had to beg their parents to go to the mall.
The mall is home—the mall is a place where there's endless amounts of shopping. There is no such thing as a boring mall experience here when you got shit tons of money.
"Hey Nicole I think we'd should stop by that Chinese gourmet. I am craving some chinese food right now." You suggested, pointing over to the restaurant. Nicole couldn't deny that she was also feeling hungry. It's been a few good hours since she ate breakfast this morning and plus her feet were fucking killing her. It wouldn't hurt to take a break from all this shopping and get a bite of some good food would it?
"Fuck yeah, i'm starving. A bitch gots to eat." Nicole replied. You two made your way over to the restaurant, ordered food and took a seat.
"So, Nicole," you started, swallowing a piece of chicken. "when do you plan on gathering your belongings from your house?" You asked. Nicole thought for a moment. She knew she'd have to get some of her belongings from her house whether it be sneaking in or trying to convince her batshit mom to allow her too. But what if the hag wants to take Nicole back? What if she doesn't even want Nicole back at home...what if your parents don't agree on allowing Nicole to stay at your house for gif knows how long? What will she do then?
"...Nicole?" You called out to her, waving a hand in her face to knock her out of her trance.
"Fuck—yeah?"
"You okay? You seemed...bothered."
"No? I mean..." You gave her that look. That look where you know that something was up and there was no room for Nicole's lies. You already knew what was going on in her head. You are always two and sometimes even four steps ahead of her. Whatever Nicole was thinking, you already knew what she was thinking and block it. "...What if my mom doesn't want me?"
"What do you mean?"
"What if my mom doesn't want me to come back home? I can't just stay with you—there's only so many days that I can stay there in til your parents come back."
"Don't say that. My parents wouldn't mind—"
"What if they do?"
"..." You looked to the side in silence. "We could tell them about your situation. Maybe they will understand."
"There can't be no, "Maybe" Y/n. It's a yes or no."
"...Let's not think about this right now. It's only your legitimately second day. We have 17 days in til graduation, Nicole. We'll find a way. We'll find a solution. Your mom may be a bitch—a dumbass bitch at that but she won't just throw you out over an argument. Listen, if she doesn't want you back at the house we'll call the police. We'll figure something out."
Nicole deep down didn't want her mom to get into trouble with the police. She really didn't. She knows that she can be a bitch and not care for others around her but this is her mom that the two of you are taking about. Her and her mom don't get along and butt heads all day and all night—but this is the same woman who gave birth to her. She didn't know what to say—besides, it's getting too...angsty for her and it's kinda cringy to talk about her getting kicked out of the house permanently in a Chinese Gourmet...
"Okay." Was all she managed to say.
Chapter 4: 【MAY 6 TH】
Chapter Text
"Do you like them or what?" Nicole asked you with a brow raised. She had just gotten finished with painting your nails, adding little designs on them. Surprisingly, Nicole was oddly great at doing nails! You would never think that Nicole would be so talented at doing nails considering the type of girl she was. I mean, what teenage girl wouldn't know how to do nails in the 2000s?
"Woah...Nicole...I—I'm shocked!" You stammered out as you held out your hands, eyes glazing over your nails.
"What? Do you like the shits or not?"
"I love them!!" You exclaimed happily. You wrapped your arms around Nicole tightly (while also being extra careful to not ruin your nails.) as you let out a squeal of pure happiness.
"Okay—Okay! Fuck, let go!" Nicole said as she pushed you away. "You're going to fuck up your nails that I worked on for the past 30 minutes. I am NOT redoing those either."
"Don't worry, they're fine! Nicole you did amazing! I didn't expect you be so good at doing nails!"
"What the fuck is that supposed to mean?" Damn. Were you really doubting her skills? Like come on now! Just because she's a bitch doesn't mean that she doesn't know how to paint some hoe's nails...
"Did Jecka teach you?"
"No! What the hell!?"
"Emily?"
"No."
"...Ari?"
"That bitch would literally rip off my nails and say that she painted them red when really she ripped the bitches off." Nicole sneered. The thought of Ari made her pissed.
"So you taught yourself?"
"Yes? Ain't like my mom had enough time to teach me how to paint my fucking nails." Nicole felt her heart skip a beat when she seen the way you smiled at her and she looked away bashfully. "What."
"You did amazing, Nicole. Thank you so much!" You said gleefully.
"Yeah...whatever."
Maybe Nicole should paint your nails more often.
Chapter 5: 【MAY 7 TH】
Chapter Text
"Swear to fucking god..." Nicole grumbled as she stirred awake from her slumber. It was freezing fucking cold in this damn house and this blanket just isn't doing her any good. Nicole wasn't exactly bothered by how cold it was considering the fact that it has been hotter outside but now? It is freezing. She assumed that maybe you forgot to turn off the cold air when it was time to go to bed...just fucking great.
She sadly got off the couch and went over to the thermostat and her brows furrowed. You had one of those fancy, but oddly confusing thermostats. That didn't keep her from glaring at the two digits on display right in the middle that read, "45" degrees. What the hell? She didn't even bother to try to work the damn thing and just decided to sneak into your room and take out another blanket from your closet. Surely you wouldn't mind if she did.
Nicole went into your bedroom after climbing the stairs, trying her best to be as silent as a mouse. She made her way to your closet and slowly and steadily pulled it open, making slight creaks that made her grit her teeth. Her eyes darted in the dark as she tried to look for something that was like a blanket. She knew you had blankets in your closet—you kept all of your personal blankets in the closet. So where else could they all be? "Where the fuck are they...?" Nicole sneered quietly as she rummaged quietly through your closet. She wasn't about to freeze to death downstairs on your living room couch—she wanted to die of course but not in that stupid way. I mean, imagine you, having to stay over your friends house because of your bullshit mom kicking you out and the next morning be found frozen to death on their couch. At that point, Nicole would recommend nobody to come to her funeral. You probably would anyway...if she were to die you wouldn't listen to her wishes and walk your ass to her funeral. But why? Why would you want to go to her funeral at all? Why would anyone want to go to her funeral?
It was because you cared. You cared enough.
"Nicole..? W-What are you doing?" Nicole let out a short-lived shriek when she heard you call out to her from behind, turning her towards you quickly as she closed the closet doors.
"Shit—nothing..." Nicole muttered under her breath. You had reached over and turned on the lamp next to your bed, revealing your tired eyes.
"Are you okay? What's the matter?"
"Uh if you hadn't noticed it's fucking freezing in here! You better be lucky I wasn't in the mood for dying so here the fuck I am—rummaging through your closet for a damned blanket." Nicole scowled as she stood there with her hands on her hips. You gave her an apologetic expression.
"Oh..I'm sorry, Nicole. Here, come sleep in my bed." You offered. Sleep? In your bed? With you?
"Sleep in your bed? No I just want a fucking blanket. I'm not in the mood for some lesbian make-out session." Nicole replied in a monotone voice. Despite her declining your offer she couldn't help but think over the thought of being able to share a bed right beside you.
"Well i'm too tired to go and find you a blanket. I'm sure you're tired of looking in that monstrosity of a closet anyway." You let out a yawn as you turned off the lamp, laying back down in bed comfortably. Nicole reconsidered the offer—looking at how warm and comfortable you looked underneath the covers. She was more focused on how close she’d be to you when she laid down in the bed with you. Nicole grumbled as she reluctantly crawled into the bed with you, quickly getting underneath the covers. “Changed your mind?” You had asked with your back facing her.
“Guess so. Just don’t do anything weird.” Nicole warned. She heard you chuckle at her words.
“Goodnight Nicole.”
“…Goodnight.”
Chapter 6: 【MAY 8 TH】
Chapter Text
The very next morning you woke up like usual. Letting out a yawn as you groaned at the sunlight beaming through your window. You tried to move your arm out you couldn't due to something—or someone blocking it from moving. You looked over in confusion and your eyes widened at the sight.
Nicole, a sociopathic girl who has nearly zero lack of empathy within that body of hers was coddled up next to you. Her back pressed up against your arm and she was all cuddled against you like a sloth, sleeping soundly as she let out small snores.
You didn't know what to do. Should you move? But she just looks so peaceful! You’d feel bad if you were to wake her up now…
Not only did she look peaceful, but she also looked really pretty. The way her dark black hair wasn’t in its usual ponytail—it was all down, sprawled out on your pillows. You also got a closer look at her too. Her lashes were naturally long, her lips were thin and pink, and she didn’t have her signature RB face like she normally does. It was much more calmer—peaceful—and beautiful even. It was a rare sight to see from Nicole and you just wanted to savor it, and have it implemented into your mind so it could replay on and on.
You laid back down in bed, not feeling the need to get up anymore and slowly moved yourself closer to her, allowing her head to lay against yours. Your legs were entangled underneath the blanket as you felt your eyes get heavy again. You gave her one last glance—making sure to go over every detail of her face before closing your eyes, keeping the vision of Nicole’s beauty right behind your eyelids as you fell back into slumber.
Chapter 7: 【MAY 9 TH】
Chapter Text
Nicole was starting to get so sick and tired of seeing Jecka texting you on repeat. Honestly, it was like Jecka have anything else to do with her time…and it was pissing Nicole off every time she saw a notification from her. She just couldn’t stand it and she didn’t know why.
I mean, Nicole couldn’t be jealous of her, right? Even if she was why would she be anyway? Nicole doesn’t have time to sit around and grumble all day just because you have many other friends besides from her. It shouldn’t be that big of a deal, right?
Why was she just so…possessive all of a sudden? What even was this feeling? Usually she’d be the one making others purposely jealous out of her own fucking fun, but now? It was like you were trying to make her jealous on purpose—even though that simply wasn’t the case at all.
Not to mention how you talk about Jecka, how funny and pretty she is—Nicole can be funny AND pretty too! Even if her humor isn’t for the weak. But she is pretty though! Many of the popular girls hung around her and she had guys swooning over her back at her old school and the present. She still was relevant but she wasn’t as…friendly as she was back then.
Hell, you’ve only talked about Jecka a few times, nothing crazy.
Well—crazy for Nicole.
…speaking of that, you had planned something with Jecka on Friday after school. It was like going out to eat or some basic shit. Nicole was invited. But Nicole didn’t want to spend an hour at a restaurant with some blonde bitch who keeps Nazax in her tits. She just wanted it to be just the two of you instead. Nicole wanted to be able to talk to you about deeper things but she couldn’t do that when that bitch is here. What if Jecka sits next to you at the table and Nicole has to sit by herself on the whole other side? Being forced to sit there and watch the two of you chat together was NOT something she wanted to do.
If she is really fucking stressing over this than that means that Nicole needs to become an Attention-Seeking whore.
Chapter 8: 【MAY 10 TH】
Chapter Text
After that day at the restaurant Nicole couldn't stop thinking about how you two talked constantly with one another. You two laughed, cracked jokes, talked shit about people at school, and sharing some juicy stories that have been going around. All Nicole could do was sit there with her arms crossed and watch as you two talked about these things between one another, acting like she wasn't even there.
I mean, you tried to pull her into the conversation. You did your best to get her included in the various topics but Nicole shot them all down.
Not to mention how you brought up her behavior. Nicole sneered at you for it and just called you delusional because you were delusional. You didn't care that you had another friend sitting RIGHT next to you as you socialized with another friend. Nicole may not be the most likable person to encounter but fuck you're still her friend. You took the time to get to know Nicole and started to hang out with her—so why are you tossing it in the trash and burning it now? She feels like you only talk to her when it's your benefit or when you don't have anyone else to talk to. Nicole is getting pissed off because of it and she hates being put to the side like a goddamn elf on the shelf. Watching, observing, fuming as you laugh along with that bitch Jecka as if you've two have known each other since forever.
...But that was Nicole's problem. Nicole is never the one to ever admit that she had done something wrong. Even when she knows that what she said or done was horribly wrong and could potentially ruin her life someway she still won't admit to it that she is at fault. She continues to add fuel to the fire and it grows and grows and grows and grows in til it engulfs her. She doesn't care. She never will.
So, she will take it up with you.
Chapter 9: 【MAY 11TH】
Chapter Text
"Nicole I would never purposely leave you out like that!" You shouted at her. Nicole has been acting strange ever since Friday, at that restaurant she started acting more bitchy than usual. It wasn't a secret or a mystery that something was under her skin and you wanted to find out what was wrong. You're her friend, a person that you now have to see everyday to further notice. It's only right if you talk to her about it.
You should've known the reason why Nicole was upset. You are just too focused on everything but her. That's how Nicole feels.
"Well you just did on Friday! Everything is just Jecka this, Jecka that! Or, Jecka said this, Jecka said that—like shut the fuck up!? You left me sitting there by my damn self and you were right next to me, ignoring me and talking with that bitch all damn day!"
"Nicole—I tried to bring you into the conversation! You kept telling me to fuck off and that you didn't need me to get you involved. I even asked you what was wrong and you know what you did? Called me fucking delusional for overthinking! Adding onto that, I decided to try to talk to you about it! Hell, you didn't even want that either!"
Nicole just stood there and glared daggers at you. Look at you, trying to act like the victim. That's all you know how to do anyway. It must come on impulse for you to act like a manipulative fucking rat.
Or maybe that was Nicole's problem. Maybe she is the manipulative rat. Maybe she is the one acting like the victim. Just maybe? No. Definitely. But Nicole refuses to acknowledge it. As long as she has the upper hand she could care less.
But you won't allow her to. As her friend, and probably her most realest Nicole had it's up to you to get her to realize that all of this is no one else's fault, including hers.
"Nicole," You sighed softly, looking at her through softened eyes. "I would never do something like that to you. You know it. I allowed you to come into my home not to show pity for you, but as your friend. I can read you like a goddamn book, Nicole." your voice held determination but also a tad of factual. "You're not used to seeing me hanging out with someone else that isn't you. It's so obvious!—"
"Are you fucking serious? Here you go again, making this into some lesbo bullcrap like you always do. Y'know, if you are a lesbian Y/n then you can just fucking say so."
"Would you shut the fuck up? Like genuinely? Shut up because you don't know what the hell you're talking about and i'm sick and tired of you pulling shit out of your ass." You snapped. Nicole stood there silently. still looking pissed off. There was that familiar feeling in her gut once again. Nicole didn't know why but she enjoyed the feeling of hearing of seeing your demeanor change drastically. You were never the one to get snappy unless someone was pissing you the fuck off. Surprisingly, Nicole was the one causing you to get this pissed off. And she liked it. "I knew what I was in for when I saw your sociopathic attitude. I was FULLY aware. If I were to be getting paid money for every single bitchy comment of you starting shit with me O wouldn't even be here. Hell, my ass would be in fucking Hawaii!" You exclaimed.
Nicole's eyes widened a bit when she felt you grab onto her hand tightly. Your grip was firm but soft to the touch as she stared straight at you. "But i'm not." you whispered. "I'm not getting paid any money. This is for free. I don't need money in order to keep being your friend because i'm doing it out of the kindness of my heart." And with that you wrapped your arms around her, hugging her. Nicole just stood there dumbfounded, frozen in place. She felt heat rise to her face as she let out a small huff.
"Fine. I was being a bitch. I was in the wrong. That's my fault." She grumbled out.
"It's no one's fault, Nicole. You need to let go." You mumbled. "Try to do that, okay?"
"...I'll try." Only for you, she'll try. She'll be sure to try her hardest and make it show.
Chapter 10: 【MAY 12 TH】
Chapter Text
The tension around the both of you came to a stop after yesterday evening. Thank god it did—the both of you didn't even know what would happen if your friendship(?) broke down just like that, and it would be Nicole's fault for it falling into pieces. But thankfully, you're not stupid.
But Nicole was doing something that she had never done before. She was actually trying. She was trying something new—something that she normally wouldn't do for anyone else. She was going to try to change. To change her ways around you. Sure, she can be a bitch with others but with you she will change. Nicole is fully aware that you wouldn't leave her due to her bitching. It's hard to even get rid of you anyway.
So here you two were, at the store, looking for things to give to Nicole's mom for Mother's Day. How sweet!
"So you don't know anything that your mom likes?" You asked puzzled. Nicole looked away.
"Uh, no?" She spat. "Well—that's a fatass lie. She—uhh—she loves cigarettes."
"...No shit! Everyone's mama loves some cigarettes! What about chocolate?"
"I don't know."
You let out a sigh as you went ahead and got some chocolate in a shape of a heart, along with a nice pink gift bag. "Well we are too young to get some cigarettes." You added.
"We can just seduce the worker up front." Nicole said plainly without any thought. You gave her a disapproving glance as you looked around the store for anything else. "She likes those bars where you gain a whole fuck-ton of weight." Nicole said.
You gave her a weird look before she nodded her head over to a pack of Kalteen bars sitting on a shelf. "Well, that's something." You said, grabbing the pack of bars. "Get your mom a card—a card that is nice."
"What the fuck was that synthesize on "Nice?" Nicole scoffed.
"Cause I know how you are. Go get her a card."
Nicole rolled her eyes as she headed back to the aisle where all the cards were displayed. She looked in the Mother's Day section for something, "Nice" to say about moms who do their job right—yeah as fucking if her own mother does her job right. She can't even keep a damn job. Nicole picked out a random card, not even looking at what it said and walked back to where you were. Before she could even put it into the basket you snatched it out of her hands and read what it said. "I picked out a nice card. The card will have nice writings on it anyway, it was in the damned mother's day section." Nicole grunted.
"You never know." You said, placing it into the basket. "I think we're good—oh!" Your eyes flickered over to some flowers and you rushed over to them. "They are 60% off! Let's get some." You said as you picked out some roses. Nicole watched as you grabbed a small bouquet of roses with her arms crossed. She doesn't understand why you wanted to get something—or make Nicole give her mom something for Mother's day when her mom treats her like shit. "I'm sure all this will convince your mom to allow you to get somebody your belongings—or even allow you to come home." You spoke with hopefulness in your voice.
Go...home? Go back to that devil spawn of a home? She'd have to deal with her fatass brother and her bitch of a mother. She won't have to deal with someone as kind and considerate as you—your home is her home. She doesn't want to leave, she doesn't want to leave you. She hate her home—it hates her.
"Come on, let's go pay for our things and convince Mother Dearest to let you back inside." You said, grabbing Nicole's hand as you dragged her to the cashier. Nicole felt a pit grow in her stomach that she hadn't felt before.
She has gotten attached to staying with you.
Chapter 11: 【MAY 13 TH】
Chapter Text
"Aww hell yeah!" You cheered outloud as you busted through the door. Nicole had finally gotten her belongings back from her mom's house yesterday with a shit ton of convincing. It still wasn't enough to allow Nicole to come back home though, but it sure did give her some leverage. "So? Happy that you can use your own things now?" You joked with a smile.
"Duh? Of course i'm fucking happy. I got sick and tired of sharing with you."
"You didn't get tired of sleeping in my bed though!"
Nicole rolled her eyes at you before setting her bag of items down on the couch. "God i'm so fucking tired.." Nicole groaned, letting out a long lasting yawn. You couldn't help but agree with her as you plopped down on the couch beside her, laying your head on her shoulder.
"Yeah...Monday's are complete bullshit." You mumbled with your eyes closed.
Despite how short lived the two of you guy's conversation lasted during to your drowsiness the day held out to you Nicole still thought that every conversation that the two of you had was something important, something worth listening to. Or was it just her feeling that way?
Maybe she truly did enjoy the comfort you bring.
Chapter 12: 【MAY 14 TH】
Chapter Text
Just. Fucking. Great.
Nicole had another shitty problem that involved you and another lowlife of a human being. That human being is no one other than the Japan loving asshole, Jeffery. Since you don't have the heart to tell the guy to fuck off Jeffery always finds ways to talk to you. You invite him over to you, listening all ears as he tells you about his stupid ass pokemon and anime's that he's been watching, explaining the plot of each one in such specific detail that it's actually pretty fucking scary.
Nicole would sit there beside you, watching you as you listened so intently to Jeffery as he ranted on and on about this topic in shock. How was it possible that you could just sit there and take all of what he was saying to add onto it? Nicole might just feel that it's only hard for her in this case because she basically tells Jeffery to go fuck himself and die all the damn time so he doesn't even have the chance to open his mouth and speak to her.
"Oh it was so nice talking to you, Jeffery!" You exclaimed with a smile on your pretty face that always left Jeffery in a flustered mess. It disgusted Nicole to the core—he shouldn't even be allowed to speak to a girl like you, he has no room. Absolutely zero space to be speaking to someone like you.
"B-Bye Y/n!" Jeffery said his goodbye (FINALLY!!) and left.
"He's so funny, right Nicole?" You asked with a chuckle. Nicole looked at you as if you were stupid.
"Uhh, are we like—talking about the same person?" Nicole said nonchalantly with annoyance in her tone. You shrugged your shoulders and looked down at your science worksheet and sighed.
"I don't understand why he's giving out work. On Friday we won't even be here at the school because of Kentucky Kingdom—“
“The fuck? Kentucky Kingdom?” Nicole cut in with a brow raised.
“Yeah! Kentucky Kingdom! Remember?”
“I-I guess…?—“
“And then next week we have the walking field trip! Wait, you’re still going to Krispy Kreme and Culver’s with me right?” Nicole nodded her head slowly before you sighed of relief, continuing on. “We have the cookout and on fucking Wednesday it’s graduation!! Then the next two days it’s just relaxation and the feeling of being free…” You said dreamingly.
Damn, all those things? Nicole hadn’t even took the time to think about all the activities that would be taking place all next week. But…your forgetting something—something major.
“W-What about your concert? The spring concert for choir?” Nicole stammered unknowingly.
“Oh right! How could I forget about my own choir concert?” You laughed at your mistake. You slowly turned to Nicole with a hopeful smile. “…Are you coming?” You asked her. Nicole stared at you for a long time—usually she doesn’t go to after school events and what not because she just doesn’t find them entertaining enough anyway. But this is your thing—your concert. I mean, she can’t just say no to you. She owes you one.
“Of course i’ll go. What kind of friend would I be if I said no?”
It was all worth seeing that smile of yours on display. “Thank you so much Nicole.”
“…You’re welcome.”
Chapter 13: 【MAY 15 TH】
Chapter Text
Nicole let out a groan into her arms as she sat at her desk. She wasn't able to concentrate on anything the teacher was talking about—not like she wanted too of course. You weren't present in the room since you had to go practice with other students in the choir on stage. Not only she was alone in math class, but her thoughts were roaming around her head too much for her liking.
Thought about you was overwhelming. It made her feel weird every time she thought about you or when she sees you. Whenever she does it brings her solitude, which doesn't seem like her. She not only feels solitude running through her, but she also feels some sort of yearning. A yearning for you.
Everything else that went down with Ari was a whole other story. Nicole did even like her for real, it was only for her own pleasure and ruining another person's life yet again. But you? Oh, this was different. you meant something more meaningful something that Nicole actually considers something good in the bitchy life that she carries around on her shoulders. You meant something to her. Hell, she hadn't touch a thing of drugs in a while ever since she moved into your home for shelter. It's like she takes time to consider about what you would think if you saw her doing drugs. you haven't seen her at all, but just thought of you her in the act of doing them just hurts her heart.
She hardly feels sympathy for the people that she hurt or for anyone at that. But with you she takes the time to think about your feelings. She can't help it—she can't stop it.
She doesn't want too.
Nicole's eyes widened at realization. A realization that she hadn't realized all this time.
"Holy shit." Nicole said to herself. "I'm a motherfucking lesbian."
Chapter 14: 【MAY 16 TH】
Chapter Text
Holy shit...
You look so beautiful standing up on stage. Your hair was nicely done, your makeup looked smooth and delicate. Nicole stared at you in awe from the first row. She was on your side of the stage, to your left. Even though you were wearing the hideous standard choir dress that was just black and a sash along your waist you still managed to outshine everyone on the stage with your beauty. In Nicole's eyes, you were only one singing up on the stage.
Nicole made it a priority to see you. She had the option to stay at home in til your concert was over or be there to see you. It's obvious that she chose the second option. She even made sure to get here super early just so that she could have front row seating. She wasn't alone though, you still talked to her so that made the wait less boring. After some time you eventually had to get in your place at your designated section, leaving Nicole by herself to watch the show. Nicole had never been so prepared in her life over something stupid like this. She normally didn't care for these sorts of things but yet again you were going to be here. What kind of friend(?) would that make Nicole if she had just stayed home, not even caring to congratulate you.
It wasn't a joke. Nicole sat there and she watched you seeing alongside your section. She didn't have anywhere else stare at, you know? It wasn't technically weird for her to just be staring dead at you— but when they make you a little bit nervous? I mean you were stressing about the concert and how it will go since you all had a routine for the concert. however, that assumption was debugged when she caught you staring at her too, with a bright smile on your face. Maybe she was your encouragement to sing higher, to stand up more straight, to fall along with those cringe dances y'all did on stage. Knowing that Nicole was watching you from the crowd, want to actually take the concert and not only participate and try your hardest for the grade— you try to satisfy to make her proud.
Which she did.
Once the concert was all said and done, you immediately went over to Nicole and gave her a big tight hug as you squealed with joy, pampering her with questions on which song she liked the most, how did you do on stage, who was her favorite soloist—all these questions went unanswered due to Nicole being captivated by how close you were to her.
It's not like she had to answer them anyway, you already received your answer that covered all those questions up.
"I think Im in love with you."
Chapter 15: 【MAY 17 TH】
Chapter Text
Nicole's mind has been running ever since the concert. Why the fuck did she just say that out-loud so randomly? What the hell was she thinking? Nicole was beating herself up for this. Honestly, a rope and a place to “hangout” is looking so fucking good right now.
Well, if you didn’t smile at her then she would in fact consider it.
But you did.
“I love you too, Nicole!” Is what you said. Nicole didn’t know whether you meant it in a friend way, or a lesbian way. She found herself hoping that it was of those choices anyway—definitely wasn’t leaning towards a certain one.
Fuck it. Yesterday is not today. Today is a field trip. An extended field trip. It was shitty—mostly because Emily and Jecka were following along much to Nicole’s dismay.
Why couldn’t Emily just sneak her old hag of a boyfriend with her? I mean, Kentucky Kingdom is open to the public! Nobody would know…hopefully. And why couldn’t Jecka just fuck off? Like seriously…
“Nicole? You okay?” She heard Jecka asked. Nicole shifted her eyes and squinted towards Jecka in a bitchy way.
“No.” Nicole spat out. “Fuckin’ hate this place. It’s rainy, people smell like wet fucking dog, and not to mention I’m starving like a bitch.”
“Nicole, why didn’t you tell me?” You asked your friend with a slight frown.
“Why would I tell you?”
“Because there’s a buffet! It’s open to 11-1! Come on, let’s go!” You chimed with a small smile.
“No thanks. I wanna go on the dropper.” Emily said casually. The three of you looked at Emily like she had lost her mind—which she in fact did since she wanted to head over to the dropper ride.
“I beg your finest fucking pardon?” Nicole said in disbelief.
“Bitch your ass is plummeting to the fucking ground.” Jecka said, crossing her arms.
“Shut up no I won’t!” Emily snapped. “Jecka will catch me.”
“Said who?!”
“Said ME! Now come on bitch, be my knight and shining armor and save the day!” Emily exclaimed before grabbing Jecka’s arm, dragging a screaming Jecka away from both you and Nicole. You let out a sigh before turning to Nicole.
“Oh well, come on let’s get something to eat.” You said simply.
Good, now Nicole had you all to herself. Just like she wanted.
~
“This place is ghetto.”
“You said that right…”
There you two sat at your table, accompanied by your own hamburger and fries. Oh yeah, there also sat your drinks—with no lid. It wasn’t even glass it was plastic. “How the fuck can drinks cost 5 dollars and come with no lid?” Nicole glared down at her Coke.
“I don’t know. I really don’t know.” You shrugged. “Maybe it’s to stop the amount of littering of lids?”
“That’s what the fucking janitors are for.”
“Yeah—you’re right on that.
You smiled at Nicole from your seat. “It’s alright though, I have plenty of money left.” you said with a chuckle.
“Me too.”
“How? I thought you bought some more drugs?”
“I stole like $24 dollars fr on Jecka’s bra.”
“How did you do that..?”
“Fast hands.”
You deadpanned for awhile at Nicole before you shook your head. Nicole was something else but hey, that’s what you loved about her. Her personality may end up getting her into a mental hospital but it is pretty entertaining to hear. “Nicole you are unique in your own special way.” You said breathily with a faint smile. Nicole snorted at your words.
“Unique? That doesn’t sound like me.” Nicole leaned back in her seat with a slight frown. She normally didn’t really like compliments that didn’t suit her but when it’s coming from you she lets it slide. “But thanks for the compliment anyway.”
“I didn’t know you said thank you!”
“I didn’t know that you would care.”
“You’re right—but what I do know is that I care about you.”
“Hm, thanks. Maybe i’ll consider caring for you as well.”
Despite how backhanded that sounds it still made you feel warm inside that Nicole would consider about caring about you and your feelings the way you care for hers. “I’ll be waiting patiently.”
Chapter 16: 【MAY 18 TH】
Chapter Text
It is time to come clean with yourself.
You’re done pushing away your thoughts that are most definitely true and you know it.
You have been feeling some sort of way around Nicole that it is obvious that these feelings did not go blind in your eyes. You love Nicole very much. Every since you allowed her to stay in your house you’ve been feeling so many emotions around her. Emotions that you knew of but never experienced firsthand.
Theres no use in being in self denial that you did in fact have feelings for a sociopathic friend.
You didn’t think it was bad. You didn’t allow Nicole to allow her sociopathic tendencies get in the way of your life, turning them down immediately with common sense. But what about other people? What about the people the two of you hang out with? What will they think about the two of you?
Why should you even care?
In reality, you don’t care. You don’t care what people would think of the two of you.
You sure in hell are worried about what Nicole would think of you though.
Chapter 17: 【MAY 19 TH】
Chapter Text
Nicole had never worn a dress before. She never liked any type of dress. It was the feel, the look…the looks from men—everything that she didn’t want to endure. She hated dresses.
But she loved seeing you glow in the face when she walked out of the dressing room wearing a navy blue dress that reached her knees. You complimented her more when she walked out wearing this certain dress.
Thats why she bought it. You hyped it up way more than the others and plus your opinion meant more to her than her own. Nicole liked the dress though, when she looked at it more it started to grow on her but you were the main cause of her buying it in the end.
You of course got your dress for graduation. It was F/C and it looked heavenly on you. The way the dress clung onto your figure was something that caught Nicole’s eyes. She was no better than a man (sadly). It wouldn’t hurt if she just stared at you for a little-
“Nicole? Hello?” Nicole jumped slightly when she was met with you snapping in her face with your fingers. “How do you think of this dress?” You asked your question again. Nicole must’ve been staring too much to the point where she forgot that you even asked her a question.
“Oh—uh—it looks okay.” Nicole muttered, looking away from you.
“Okay? Okay!?” You stared at Nicole in disbelief as you let out a small huff. “It can’t just be ‘okay’, it has to be fabulous! Beautiful! Outstanding! It can’t be no ‘okay’!”
“That’s not what I fucking meant! You look hot as fuck.”
“Oh, really?”
“Yes.”
“Phew, that’s a relief! I need to make sure that i’m outshining everyone at that shitty graduation!” You flaunted before hurrying back into the dressing room to change. Nicole slumped in her seat as she looked over at her dress on the chair beside her.
“The sad thing is that she doesn’t even know that she naturally outshines everyone.” Nicole grumbled.

Chapter 19: 【MAY 20 TH】
Chapter Text
"It's so goddamn HOT." Nicole complained loudly as she trailed behind you. Today is the day of the walking field and it is BURNING up out here. Nicole just wanted to get this shit over with. She has you, right?
"Nicole it's going to be okay." You said with a comforting rub on her back. "Culver's is not that far from here, we'll be fine!" You reassured.
"Says the one who is sweating profusely." Nicole sneers. You shrugged your shoulders lazily as you began to actually be a little more aware of the heat. It wasn't helping that people ahead were walking so slow it was actually a bit painful.
You had brought around $16 at most to buy you and Nicole something to eat. You and Nicole would be sharing food just to save some money so that maybe you two could have a milkshake or an ice cream. Jecka kept on saying how you sharing food and eating together is basically like a date other peoples eyes. Is it really like a date? You wouldn't think so since obviously you two are friends and Nicole doesn't really slide that way considering what happened between her and Ari to be exact. You don't slide away either...? When U2 decided to ask Emily if she agreed with what Jecka said and she did! Nicole claimed that the two of you shouldn't count Emily's opinion because she's a crazy fucking bitch though...
That thought still wonders on through your mind as you continue to walk in the scorching hot sun alongside your best friend(?)
~
"Is the food good?" You asked Nicole while taking a bite from your pack of fries.
"It's...decent. Better than that shitty school food." She replied. You couldn't help but agree. "How much money do we have left?"
"Hmm...just some change. We may not be able to get our ice creams. They cost like five dollars, and it will make it ten." You crossed your arms as your brows furrowed.
"It's just ice cream."
"Yeah but it would be nice to have something cold for when we leave..." You mumbled.
Nicole let out a huff as she looked over all the other students around her in til she spotted a familiar face.
Kylar.
A light bulb lit up in her head as she smirked to herself, getting up from her seat. She caught the confused glance you gave her as she walked over to Kylar who was standing in line. "How much money do you have?" Nicole asked suddenly.
"Holy shit, dude! You scared me! Wait, Nicole, what are you doing here? I thought you didn't want to come on the walking field trip?" Kylar questioned. Nicole squinted her eyes at him.
"Doesnt matter. How much money do you have?"
"Uhhhh—I don't know. I can't count!"
"Jesus fucking christ let me see." Nicole took the money from Kylar's hands and began counting the dollar bills. The total came out to be around 32 dollars (surprisingly) "You wouldn't mind sparing a ten right?" Nicole asked.
"What? Why?"
"Because Y/n wants ice cream. You aren't about to turn down this favor on giving a beautiful girl like her a ten dollar bill, right? If so, then consider yourself a lowlife for not wanting to help out a helpless girl like her." That seemed to get Kylar's attention in a giffy since he so gladly handed Nicole the ten bucks quicker than one could blink.
~
"Aww, Nicole you didn't have to!" You exclaimed happily when Nicole handed you the ice cream cone.
"But I did." Nicole shrugged as she took a lick from her own ice cream. "I just found ten dollars on the ground."
You let out a sigh of happiness as the both of you walked side by side and out to the scorched streets to walk back to school.
Chapter 20: 【MAY 21 TH】
Chapter Text
"Oh my fucking god Nicole..." Jecka let out a groan into her hands as she peeked behind them. "You cannot be serious..."
"I am." Nicole scoffed.
"You're going to make her life a living hell! Look what you did to Ari!" Jecka shouted.
"Ari is a masochist—a crazy bitch. I was only using her for my own pleasure. Y/n is different. She can handle all this."
"She hasn't seen all what's underneath what you call, "All this" Nicole! Are you fucking crazy?"
"Yes. I am. But it's not what you think—Y/n isn't some pussy, she knows how to bitch."
Jecka just rolled her eyes at her friend. It wasn't that Jecka didn't like the thought of Nicole and Y/n dating, it was the fact that Nicole herself can cause issues. Nicole can literally ruin someone's life without even realizing it(?)! She has no sympathy or empathy for anyone that comes her path—
But with you, she has all of those qualities. Only for you she has them and even cares for them. She doesn't use them for her advantage—she uses them to care for you.
Another half of Jecka thinks that Nicole and Y/n can be capable of staying together if Nicole plays her cards right...if she even knows how to.
Chapter 21: 【MAY 22 TH】
Chapter Text
"Isn't this nice, Nicole? Being able to sit underneath the shade and relax?" You said, turning over on your side to face Nicole who was laying back first on the slightly cold grass.
"It's okay. Still shitty though."
"That's what you say about every school event!"
"And I will keep saying it." Nicole replied in a snobbish manner. You gently smiled at her with a small chuckle escaping your lips.
"I am so ready for some food on the grill." You mumbled. Too bad it was only 10, lunch starts around 12 or so. Nicole nodded her head, silently agreeing with your statement. She just hopes that the food tastes at least edible unlike the school food from the cafeteria. At this point, Nicole could care less whether it's ass or not because it'll be better than the school food anyway. "But before I even think about food," You began. "I need some sleep!" You announced, using your jacket as a pillow. Nicole turned on her side to look at you.
"Yeah, do whatever. I'll just wake your ass up when the food is ready." She said. You gave her a lazy nod before finally putting your eyes to the much needed rest, soon enough falling into a deep peaceful slumber. Nicole's eyes softened at the sight of how soft and calm you looked and she couldn't help herself from scooting closer to you. The grass ruffled underneath her as she got to a close range within you.
Soon, she too, fell asleep alongside you. Just like how the two of you did back at home. Well, all except for the absent touch of a hand overlapping the other's.
Chapter 22: 【MAY 23 TH】
Chapter Text
The humongous crowd cheered in the gymnasium loudly after Nicole had finished giving out her speech, declaring as Valedictorian. Most people would think that she cheated her way into getting the spot on the podium when really it was all for the help of someone special, someone that helped her through it all. Someone that she loved all so much.
Nicole stood on the podium, high and tall. Her lazy eyes scanned the crowd of graduates all sitting down. She of course recognized a few familiar faces. She could see Jeffery, Jecka, Emily, Kylar, Trody...Ari. All those fuckers who surprisingly even made it this far into their life were all there.
Then there was her.
She had changed in a slow but obvious way. Not to only this special someone but to those around her. She wasn't as snappy as she was before, wasn't so bitchy, and definitely didn't talk a lot about ending her life whether it was a joke or not. Overall, she just became a newer version of herself and to say the least she was sorta proud of it. That didn't mean that she wasn't going to change for good though.
Surprisingly, her mom let her back into her care after Nicole had "redeemed" herself. She'll miss staying at home with this special someone, who wouldn't? She wouldn't if she wasn't a raging sociopathic lesbian. But here we are, here she is.
Here she is.
Nicole watched as that special someone stood up from their seat—to be exact they were the only one standing up from their seat full of graduates as they cheered Nicole on and clapped loudly with a big smile on their face. Their proudness for Nicole's success was colossal and Nicole didn't stop nor keep herself from allowing her lips to form a small smile.
You. It was you. The one she cared for. The one whom was willing to give it her all for Nicole to be successful. The one who Nicole needs to make sure that it is known that she is showing every ounce of the gratitude she has within herself.
When the ceremony was all said and done Nicole was greeted with a huge hug from you, letting out a huff at the impact. "Well damn, hold on would you? Fucking feet hurt..." Nicole said with a slight grumble. You laughed apologetically as you still clung onto her in a tight embrace.
"You did wonderful!" You exclaimed brightly. "See, I told you that you'd make it up there! Nicole you did it!" You continued to cheer for her proudly as you shook her slightly. Nicole rolled her eyes say how you reacted, finding it pleasing in the slightest.
"Okay okay, fuck, can we leave now? I need to go to your house to get my stuff." Nicole replied in a tiresome tone.
"Right! Let's convince your mom if we can have one last sleepover! Come on!" You said hurriedly, pulling Nicole along and ignoring all her retorts.
~
"Y/n, I need to come clean." Nicole finally said after sitting in silence watching the television beside you. You let out a small hum of acknowledgment of Nicole as you turned to look at her.
"Come clean? Of drugs?"
"No you fucking Retar-"
"You can't say that."
Nicole scoffed as she waved you off. "Fucking forget about it. I need to tell you something and it's really important."
"Okay. Tell me." You said. Fuck, she didn't like how straightforward you were being—it just made it harder for Nicole to even began with what she was trying to spit out.
"Y/n, I know that I can be a bitch," Nicole started, eyes looking away.
"I do know that." You chuckled. Nicole glared at you before continuing.
"You and I are different. You are more like a person where nobody can say anything bad about you because you're kind, and a compassionate person. I, on the other hand, is the opposite. Anyone can say anything bad about me and a whole bunch of other fuckers will be believe it because I am not a kind person nor compassionate. I am sick." Nicole said with a role that was soft but serious. You nodded in understanding. You couldn't deny that what Nicole is saying is indeed true. It'll make sense. "Even though we are polar opposites, you still managed to make me feel like a person. A somebody."
"That's what I do best." You said with a smile.
"I like you, Y/n. A whole bunch. I know the shit I did to Ari was and still is pretty an asshole move but with you it's different. You didn't force me to be with you or do anything unlike Ari. You helped me finally be able to go back to my house, be successful, get Valedictorian...I just wanted to thank you for that." Nicole explained. She was now looking at you, her eyes weren't stern and lazy like how they always were. This time, they are soft and filled with understanding, adding a pinch of gratitude. Something that you've always wanted to see within Nicole. "What i'm trying to say is that I love you." Nicole sighed, leaning back slightly.
"In what way?"
"...what way do you think?"
"...A lesbian way?"
Nicole silently sent you an answer; her signature smirk. You let out a small chuckle at this. "So I am correct?"
"Yeah. Soooo....what do you say?" Nicole asked. She did her best to hide the hesitation in her tone. You thought about it for awhile. You truly do love Nicole, you've always loved Nicole. Even despite these differences between the two of you, the two of you still managed it all through to the end of school. You two made it through this insanity of a school year side by side and did so many things together. You made sure that Nicole had a roof over her head when her mom wasn't present. Your days included Nicole, all of it did.
She was and still is always with you just like how you are always with her. Even after graduation you two still decided to have a sleepover together despite being in the same house together all this time. "I love you too, Nicole." You said in a bashful attitude. Nicole let out a hum in triumph. It got quiet again, neither of you spoke. You two just stared at each other for some time, not even realizing the fact that the both of you are getting slowly closer and closer to one another. Soon enough, your lips met with each other as you two shared a short but passionately loving kiss that was filled with love, need, and affection. Nicole was the first to slowly pull away as she opened her eyes, her heart pounding in her chest.
"Holy shit," She stammered. "that was hot." She let out a small snicker when she saw your eyes widened at he towards, letting out a small scoff. "What it's true! You can't deny that it was kinda hot when we did that." She added on. You pushed her shoulder playfully, revealing a laugh from Nicole.
"Oh, Nicole, what will I do with you?"
🩷THE END!🩷
