Chapter Text
The first time, the first time, HIS game had ended wrong was all that couple's fault... if that couple hadn't been all lovey and dovey, that kid would have wallowed in a cycle for eternity. THAT would have been the end to end all ends, a world doomed, every person driven to fear and madness over when the moon would fall, delicious.
SO Majora had made them major players in every game going forward... the kicker, the KICKER WAS, they won every time. Majora was so bored of hearing a variation of the same speech over and over as his game crumbled around him.He couldn't just demote them after all this time, that would just be admitting he'd lost!
LOST
LOST!
CRAGAH! What was a being of chaos and destruction to do? Termina as a playground was just SO boring. He should just....
A devious glint shone in Majora's eyes. He should just kick them out? That wasn't the same as Demoting them to pawns again right? No he'd just call it... a vacation, a prize for winning so many games! Majora giggled, oh that would let him practice for their return... he may even... misplace them for awhile longer.
GREHEHEHEHEHE.Where to punt, where to punt? Ah, that Kid had come from Hyrule right? He'd created the happy mask salesman just to lure that kid in... Now Hyrule would get a taste of his MEDICINE, HIS CRAZY PILLS!
A knock on the door, the porter was here already? Kafei wiped his brow, shutting down the Stock Pot Inn was such a chore... but he'd promised Anju, and that was that. Really chores like this were little compared to feeling so alive. Kafei found himself drooling at the thought of seafood.
Anju had come to him about a week ago with exciting news. She had won the lottery, the prize? An all Rupees paid cruise around Termina. They'd get to see places that not many people in Clock Town would ever see in their lives.
"Kafei!" Anju shouted, "Have you cleaned the bathroom? I don't want that weirdo getting in again."
"Yes Darling, I did, by the way The porter's waiting for our bags." Kafei smiled, it was such a treat to hear her timid voice full of energy.
Anju descended the stairs with a modest backpack swung over her back. "Well then, we're off?" Anju asked.
Kafei nodded. "Take the lead." Anju stood up straighter and opened the door firmly. They walked out the door, and a few packages stowed away later, they were off.
"I wonder what the ocean will be like...?" Anju said to Kafei. Kafei shrugged. "I read the brochure, and it sounds like we'll be sailing over a great underwater city..."
"That sounds breathtaking." Anju leaned on his shoulder.
"I'll be your, hehehe-host, Jorama!" His puppets clapped, Anju and Kafei were none the wiser to the fakes around them, For good measure, he'd mixed in a few reals too.
"Our first stop on this cruise is the lost kingdom of Hyrule, as we sail, please enjoy all of the lalalalaluxuries at your disposal. Bon voyage!"
The crowd raised their glasses, "Bon voyage!"
