It was a few days after a transfer student came to Chuuya’s school. Chuuya never had a good day from that point on.
As usual, he came home feeling awful at school. His Dad always questioned him. He never responded. But they knew that it was because of that new classmate of his.
“Im home, Dad.” Chuuya muttered, before going upstairs to his room before chuuya slammed the door to his room leaving a loud bang, being heard from downstairs.
Rimbaud sighed to himself before walking up to his room and knocking the door,
“This is the 4th time of the week, you good?”
“Yeah, Dad definitely.”
Chuuya said with slight sarcasm.
“I doubt that, but ok i’ll give you some space.”
As Rimbaud went back downstairs, Chuuya laid on his bed and silently screamed into his pillow.
as he laid, he heard a knock coming from his window, Chuuya immediately jumped at the sound as it wasn’t expected.
Chuuya immediately went to his window to see Albatross trying to climb his window.
Chuuya aggressively opened the window.
“YOU BASTARD WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!” Chuuya said with a quiet voice trying not to alarm his Dad that his friend was here.
“ jus’ wanted to hang out with you i guess”
Chuuya sighed. “Ok get in. If my Dad see’s you we are fucked.”
Albatross gave Chuuya a smirk before getting in.
“Be quiet, My Father might come home early who knows. If you dont kn-“
“ i know, i know, you’re Father doesn’t like me”
“He comes home late anyway i’ll leave at Five and we’ll be fine”
Albatross pauses.
“why does your father dislike me anyway?”
Albatross always wondered why Chuuya’s Father hated him.
“it’s because youre an annoying little piece of shit. Im being honest on that one, i know.”
“Ouch. That hurt”
Albatross puts his hand to his chest as if he got shot. In a dramatic way.
“This is why your brother is better than you.”
“Hey! Dont say that im totally better than him…” Albatross lips formed into a frown.
Chuuya clicked his tongue after those words.
They continued their hangout normally until it fell silent as they ran out of things to talk about.
And after a few seconds of silence
Chuuya heard a car pass by at his house but he wasn’t bothered by it. His father usually comes home late. But as long as it wasn’t his Father. But did it really?
He then heard a door open
“Chuuya im home!” He heard a familiar voice come from downstairs.
“Uh oh.” Both of them said in horror.
Chuuya immediately rushed to get Albatross out of his room and clean his room as fast as possible.
“Get out faster you prick!”
“i’ll see you at school tomorrow!”
“Got it.”
Albatross climbs out the window and both of them say their goodbyes.
Chuuya ran down stairs quickly, almost tripping on the way.
“Father! welcome home. You’re pretty early what happend?”
“Oh, I just decided to end my shift early.”
Chuuya’s school ends at 3PM his father usually comes home at 6PM. So it was rare for him to come home early.
Chuuya took a quick pause
“ Wait.. So does that mean we’ll have dinner together!?” Chuuya exclaimed with Joy.

“So Chuuya how was school today?”
Rimbaud slightly chuckled at that
“Oh it was not fine.” Rimbaud answered for him as for Chuuya will definitely not be fine with answering it.
“Oh? how come?”
Chuuya sighed at answered for him.
“Dazai.”
“Anyways he’s too annoying i can’t even talk about him, im going back to my room.”
“Wait? but the conversation isn’t done yet?” Verlaine said in slight confusion.
“im sorry, but i can’t bring that bastard up.”
“Well, okay then you can go.”
Chuuya then climbed the stairs to his bedroom.
“He’s not feeling well isn’t he?”
Verlaine said.
“He’ll be fine, we just have to focus for tomorrow. I’ll leave a note for him.”

7:0AM
an alarm rang.
Chuuya yawned as he stopped the alarm and sat down for a few seconds. He then went to look for his parents as it was oddly quiet.
He looked at their bedroom but they weren’t there, nor the living room, kitchen. He was confused and worried, they would always tell him they were leaving in some way. So he had to look carefully on where he thinks they placed a message. He checked until he got to the fridge on where he saw a message saying.
“We’re taking a few days off in your father’s homeland for our anniversary, everything you need is already prepared, take care of yourself sweetheart!”

with a little doodle of his parents on the bottom corner of the paper.
Chuuya exclaimed with a sigh.
“it’s just a few days i’ll be fine. Right?”
