“And then– get this, my parents then said that I’m losing my cheer mojo! Me! My cheering! Which is out of this world!”
“Mm.”
“And if that wasn’t bad enough, my day got even worse no thanks to Roi! It’s like he knew what I was going through and just had to rub it in! He just so happens to get into cheerleading too?! Unbelievable!”
“Hm.”
“...And then the store was out of my favorite smoothie…” After having ranted for a nonstop two hours, Hart ran out of energy by this point. Surprisingly, he had gone on for longer in the past.
Now, he nuzzled his face further into Taff’s lap with a small whine.
The pink genie softly ran his hands all over his laying body as they sat on the couch. One across his back and the other brushing through his blonde strands.
Hart let out a long exhale, having settled himself rather basically vibrating out of rage like he once was. “You know, you’re such a good listener. I desperately needed this right now.”
The cheerleader tilted his head, now gazing up at Taff with a calm and thankful expression.
Taff’s cheeks got even pinker.
Some nice, oddly quiet moments passed. With too much eye contact that neither really minded, honestly.
Hart got an idea.
“Hmm… I think I’m still missing a certain something that’ll fully cheer me up.” Waggling his eyebrows and making Taff giggle.
Taff already knew what that was, even if it weren’t for Hart tapping his lips and starting to move up, closing the space between them.
