sunset lover

Summary:

shortly after entering the room, jungsu turned off the camera and placed it down on the nightstand, admiring the view from outside of the window.

"the view from here is even prettier when the sun sets." jiseok said softly.

jungsu turned around and smiled.

aka jungsu and gaon & what happened after they turned off the vlog cams for the day on their jeju trip

Notes:

hellloooo!!! long time no see. i have had this fic sitting in my notes app for literal months.. i actually started writing this probably a few days after the jungji jeju vlog came out but i couldnt bring myself to finish it until today. unfortunately it did end up being way shorter than i expected but trying to write anything else just ended up ruining the rest of the fic so i decided to choose quality over quantity. again disclaimers as usual, this piece of work is fictional, english isnt my first language, and im not a master at writing so it might not be the best thing you'll ever read.

as u can probably tell this is based off their little jeju trip that happened last year! more specifically i wanted to write about their time together when the cameras were off. i hope you enjoy and as always happy reading!

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

shortly after entering the room, jungsu turned off the camera and placed it down on the nightstand, admiring the view from outside of the window.

"the view from here is even prettier when the sun sets." jiseok said softly.

jungsu turned around and smiled.

"do you like it?"

jiseok nodded, looking at jungsu with sparkling eyes.

jungsu let out a happy sigh, stretching out his arms before sitting down on the side of the bed. he quietly observed jiseok who still had his eyes fixed on the stars and sea behind the glass.

"you look cute." jungsu whispered.

the sudden compliment caught jiseok off gaurd, making him blush.

"don't say that." he replied.

"why?" jungsu giggled while grabbing jiseok's hand.

"it's embarrassing.."

"should i stop?"

"no.." jiseok pouted.

"no?" jungsu smiled.

jiseok stared at the latter before moving closer, his heartbeat gradually becoming faster and faster.

"why are you nervous?" jungsu asked, slightly worried.

"you're really pretty too you know.."

jungsu looked into jiseok's eyes. his face was now flushed from the excessive blushing, his eyes twinkled and his hair was slowly starting to lose it's styled shape. jungsu couldnt help but feel intensely attracted to him, which shouldn't come as a surprise since they are dating. but everything still feels new, he doesn't know what does and what doesn't cross the line, he doesn't know how far he can go without making his boyfriend uncomfortable.

he slowly started playing with the younger's hand since he knew both of them enjoyed it and nobody would get upset, but the latter stood frozen. before jungsu could ask what's wrong, jiseok cupped his cheeks and placed a peck on his lips. it was short and sweet, but enough to make jungsu's heart skip a beat. now they're both a blushing mess.

"was it okay?" jiseok asked softly.

jungsu didn't reply. instead he pulled him in for another, this time more desperate, sweet kiss. to his surprise, jiseok was actually the one who deepened it first. the sudden action flustered him but he made sure to keep his cool. it's his first time kissing someone with so much emotion. it's sweet, it's addicting, and most importantly it's perfect because the one kissing him was kwak jiseok. once jiseok eventually broke off the kiss, his stare was completely different from before. he looked confident, he looked desperate. he looked like he longed for touch more than ever at this exact moment.

jungsu stood up and carefully grabbed him before carefully pushing him down on the bed.

"is this okay?" he made sure to ask before going any further.

after a nod of approval, he glided his hand across jiseok's face down to his chest and gently started to kiss his neck, leaving behind fine traces of saliva. his hand slowly wandered down to the latter's waist and under his shirt, while his lips landed on the younger's. amid jungsu's touches and kisses, jiseok reached out to carefully take off his boyfriend's shirt. slowly and gently, to not startle him in any way. while usually this would have some sort of effect on him, jungsu wasn't fazed at all. if anything, he was upset he had to break off the kiss for even a second. he looked at jiseok with a small pout.

"why are you pouting?" jiseok whispered breathlessly.

"i want you" he replied.

"nobody's stopping you.. the shirt is off for a reason"

jungsu stared at jiseok for a few seconds before pulling off shirt.

"then this is coming off too."

jiseok smiled shyly.

"okay."

at 6am, the alarm rang. with the alarm the seagulls have awoken, and another day has begun. gently rubbing his eyes, jungsu reached his hand to turn off the ringing clock and sat up, one hand reaching out to jiseok's face, gently caressing it before waking him up soon after.

"wake up, let's not sleep in on our last day here."

"just a few more minutes." jiseok smiled, half awake.
