Work Text:
I was sitting at this local small Cafe. The walls were this spruce color and the floors were wooden, all the decorations made it feel very homey. I sat at my table as a took a bite out of my pärson beskiv. I tooked over at the special drink they mix for me, it's my two favorite drinks mixed together, monster mango loco and mountain dew.
I heared the bell jiggling as my attention was drawn to the cafes front door. There stood a ratty looking man, he was tall maybe somewhere around 6ft? His hair was black around neck length. He was wearing a big white fluffy hat...it's summer though..? As I was taking in all of this man's features he looked at me, red eyes meeting with mine, I looked away quickly but I saw in the corner of my eye he was smiling.
I was a little embarrassed by what had just happened but tried to forget about it. "Is this seat taken?" A thick Russian accent spoke, I looked up and saw the man from earlier. "Oh uh no, you can take it!" I blurted out, and he smiled at me and sat down. I looked at what he had in his hands, it was a coffee, a black coffee. "What's your name?" He spoke again. "Uh um it's uh Y/N" God dammit why did I stutter so much? He's gonna think I'm a totally weirdo! "Nice to meet you Y/N, I'm Fyodor" he extended his hand to me, I hesitated for a second before taking it, his handshake was firm. I knew he knew I saw sweating and nervous, I couldn't make out what he was feeling. He was smiling but I couldn't tell if it was real or if it was...evil? He looked down at my drink and asked me something but I was still thinking about how he hadn't let go of my hand yet, I think he realized because he quickly let go of my hand. "What is your drink?" He asked me with his smile gone. "Uhm it's monster and mountain dew mixed together" I could tell he was a little weirded out because he started blankly at me. The silence was loud but he broke it.
"I think I want to marry you"
Now 2 years later I stand hand in hand with him at our wedding, all my friends watching. And all I could think about was my ratty man.
The end.
