To my dearest,
How have you been? I’ve certainly had an exciting weekend. The last time I wrote to you I was on my way home. I’ve just recently arrived in Snezhnaya (as of tonight) and I’ve finally gotten a chance to sit down and write you. In all honesty, I probably could have started writing sooner but you know how I am.
I received your letter 2 days ago. I think between the distance and my own constant travels I may be behind. I’m sure as soon as I get settled in a town for a bit (although now that I think about it I may just end up heading straight towards the capital) I’ll get the rest of your letters. The last one I read had a long-winded tale about Klee hiding in the grapevines and making a game about it. It sounds like you got quite into playing hide-in-seek with her despite the hassle. From what I’m told you spend most of your day by yourself. And you’ve told me you try not to engage with the people in the tavern when you’re bartending. I know you’re the reserved type but worry that you’ll get lonely.
And before you reply back to me with a lecture be aware that I already know what you’ll say. You’re allowed to enjoy being alone but I still think it would be good to surround yourself with some friends. And while I can’t say much on Mondstadt citizens and it’s knights I do think it may be worth it to at least try to get along. I also think you should try with Kaeya. I know things seem very strained but maybe try to talk it out. I can’t say much on his state of mind but I think you’re at a place where you could keep the conversation civil. And you know how I view family. That’s all I’ll say about that. I’m sure you don’t want to be pushed on it.
I’d also like to add that I find your nightly vigilante fascinating and you NEED to start including more details of it in your writing.
Now for me! I’m sure you’re waiting in anticipation. Frankly, things have gotten quite boring on my end. The most thrill I’ve had in a while it hunting for my own food and that isn’t very hard. I’m meeting up with some scouts tomorrow and hopefully that changes things up a bit but I’m not very hopeful. They’re supposed to escort me or something along those lines but we both know I don’t need it.
I’m only traveling back to Fatui headquarters because there is some big meeting we all need to attend. I’m sure I’m not supposed to be telling you this firefly, but there is not much they can do about that. I’m not even sure this meeting is all that important. This happens at least twice a year where they say it’s important and call us all back but then it just turns out to be normal harbinger business. I suppose I can pay attention if they mention Mondstadt but our relations there are better than most places so I have no pressing concern in that department.
I’d like to visit my siblings before I’m sent back out to wherever. I’m also going to discuss getting a more solid plan for the days I have off so my visits to both my siblings and you are not as random. I’m fairly certain that I’ll be sent out to Liyue on a more permanent basis so at least I will be nearer to you. Have I mentioned how much I miss you? If I do get a more solid schedule of my days off I’d like you to also try for the same days. Even if you are banned from the country I still think I could easily get away with sneaking you in and out again. Especially if the most you do is visit smaller detached towns and homes like where I’m from. It's not like you’d have a hard time doing it on your own.
I’ve sent out a package with this letter. They should arrive at the same time. As per usual, if they don’t wait a bit and if it continues to not appear then write me again and I’ll have it sorted out.
