Briar had always been athletic but it wasn’t until she got to high school that she actually started playing sports. She tried out for almost every sport she could think of but she was never really good at any.. until soccer. Soccer was everything, she loved the people, the atmosphere, the highs, the lows. (And of course she was a natural)
Briar understood soccer from the start, and she was really fucking good at it. She played forward she loved getting the glory of kicking the winning goal, she loved winning more than anything.. well not more than faybelle.
Faybelle was always there for her cheering on the sidelines, even if she was struggling on the Field there she was smiling and jumping cheering for her.. god she loved that girl.
Faybelle loved briar too. She loved briar so fucking much, she loved her smile, her laugh, her eyes.. but most of all, she loved how she looked after she won, and she loved being there for her.

It was the day of the big game against ever afters rival high school beanstalk high. Coach baba yaga said they had no chance of beating them, the players were bigger, faster, stronger. But briar knew.. she knew she could beat them.
The game starts with a blur, cerise kicks the ball to Raven, Raven kicks in back to cerise, the ball flys across the grass.. more time goes by the game is close.. it’s up to briar.. she just has to make this shot.. she kicks.. she.. SHE SCORES!!!
EVER AFTER HIGH HAS WON THE GAME 2 - 1!!!!!!!! FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FIFTY YEARS EVER AFTER HIGH HAS WON A GAME AGAINST BEAN STALK HIGH!!
Briar runs, runs to the only person she wants to see right now. She runs to faybelle.. she leaps up and throws her arms around her girlfriend.. leaning in and kissing her (rather roughly) on the lips.
Faybelle immediately flushes.. extremely flustered by this rush of emotions.. “Babe.. I love you but.. please give me a warning before you leap into my arms” briar giggles back “sorry fay.. I love you too..”
“I’m just.. I can’t believe we won!! Isn’t it so hexciting.. for the first time in 50 years!!” Briar rants. Faybelle looks back at the girl with a smile.. “yeah.. it is hexciting.” “What’s that look for..” asks briar.. “well.. I don’t know maybe I’m just thinking about how lucky I am to be dating the most beautiful girl in the world..” “oh shut up Faybelle..” she leans in again for a kiss. This time more soft, yet still passionate..
“I love you Faybelle”
“I love you too briar..”
