“PORTGAS D ACE IS DEAD!”
It happened live. But even so, the news spread like wildfire in a forest the day after. Headlines in the newspapers all over the blues said those words in big bold letters, of not only Ace’s death, but his captain too. Whitebeard; an emperor of the sea, died standing up at the end of the war of the best at marineford. A former crewmate of the emperor, Blackbeard, drove him to his demise.
Soon people started talking. Their opinions differ from one another, but one thing was certain; they were afraid of what the future will bring.
“Gol D Roger had a son?”
“And said son worked under Whitebeard? Oh God, I’m glad he’s gone! What could have happened if we let him live? ”
“His name was Portgas tho? Did he take his mother's name?”
“Didn’t you hear? His mother was Portgas D Rouge.”
“They said she kept him inside her belly for one year and 3 months! That's freaky?! No wonder she passed away after the birth!”
“Hey, what will happen now? Now that Whitebeard is dead?”
“Anything can happen.”
“Everyone is tense, I hope the world can go in peace.”
“I'm not so sure, since rookies are popping up from nowhere and creating chaos!”
“Especially that Monkey D Luffy! Brother to Ace!”
Ace, Whitebeard, and even Luffy were the talk of the world. Yet there was a hidden story here, which only a few knew. Gold D Roger had a son, yes, but was it only one? What truly happened on the day of Ace's death? What happened which would change the world? Not only a new era, but a new terror. The world thinks Gol D Roger’s son is gone, but what if there was one more? A son who stands quietly and mysteriously and simply exists.
What if, there was a boy kept so low that his dreams, his life, and his presence were unknown. Through Ace's fire, he was the shadow kept in the dark. This boy was important to Ace, like Luffy and even Sabo. This boy was his twin brother, Portgas D Enid.
Everyone who wronged Ace, was done for, since the rage in both Luffy and this mysterious boy was going to change the whole world.
