Remus woke up to cool air pouring in through an open window in the flat. Remus and Sirius had recently moved in together, and they often forgot to shut the window after their late night cigarette.
It was then that Remus realized Sirius was missing from his usual spot curled under his chin. Remus got up from under the covers, and walked over to the window. It took him three good shoves to close it, the latch refusing to shut. Remus could easily fix the window with an easy charms spell, but it was one of the many little quirks of their little London flat that he liked to keep as is. Just as he finished with the window, Sirius burst through their bedroom door.
"OH YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME." Sirius proclaimed, holding a large tray in his hands.
"What?" Replied Remus, not surprised by Sirius's ability to speak at such loud volume at 7:00 in the morning.
"I woke up at bloody dawn to make you breakfast In bed, but of course you're already up to ruin it!" Sirius replied, setting the tray down on their dresser.
Remus crossed the room to get a better look at what he'd made. Muffins, eggs, toast and more types of jam than Remus could count. "You did all this for me?"
"Well yeah, I didn't use any magic though, so the eggs might be burnt."
Remus looked Sirius in the eyes, two crystal blue pools staring back at him, and felt like he was falling in love with him all over again. "Oh for fucks sake I don't care if the eggs are burnt." Remus said, smile spreading wider than he thought possible. "I love you so much." Sirius returned the smile, taking Remus's waist into his now free hands.
"Love you too Moony." And with that, Remus kissed Sirius, feeling the same love for the boy that he had when they were fifteen kissing in broom cupboards.
"Let's eat shall we?" Sirius said, as the bedroom window swung open, latch falling off the window completely. Remus and Sirius stood staring at each other for a moment, before bursting out with laughter.
"Oh just leave it we'll deal with it later." Remus said as the laughter died down. And with that, they spent the rest of their morning eating and listening to the low hum of cars through the open window.
